The couple who run the shop were also wonderful, providing excellent and thoughtful service. I even got to try their rolled omelette, which is only available to two groups per day. I visited about a month ago, in early July. It was a highly recommended shop in Naka-Meguro, and it lived up to expectations with its delicious and fulfilling course menu. The variety of dishes may be overwhelming for those with small appetites. On this day, I took home a pot of rice. The course included sesame tofu and sea urchin jelly served on fresh lotus leaves, Kyoto-style white fish sashimi, sashimi (which was so tasty I forgot to take a picture), grilled belt fish, eel sushi, conger eel tempura, chawanmushi, sweet potato tempura with crab sauce, clay pot rice with salmon roe, kelp, and sansho pepper, pickled small fish, and dessert with vanilla ice cream topped with cherries. It was a truly fulfilling experience. I would love to go back again!

Enjoying beautiful and delicious Japanese cuisine makes me grateful to be Japanese. I had about three glasses of wine and it cost around 12,000 yen per person. I would love to visit casually, but the price is a bit high for me. I turned the leftover clay pot rice into rice balls to enjoy later ♡

The owner, who is passionate about learning and improving every day, always surprises me with new flavors. However, the taste is consistently delicious with a gentle and comforting broth. The selection of drinks ranges from carefully chosen Japanese sake to wine, making me want to try something new every time I visit. Sea urchin mixed rice is the best! It's the most delicious I've ever had. I tried conger eel for the first time, and its unique texture was refreshing and delicious.
