Today, I had breakfast at Bel Jour in front of Nakano Station. The interior is spacious and very relaxing, which I really like. This is my second visit, so I'll keep it simple. I ordered the morning set with Kaiser sandwich that Miss Pepper recommended last time (480 yen including tax). I chose iced coffee as my drink. It was served in 3 minutes. In the fast-paced morning of a salaryman, quick service is crucial. The Kaiser sandwich had crispy toasted buns with scrambled eggs, bacon, and lettuce inside. The only downside was that the paper wrapping the sandwich was too small, making it a bit difficult to eat. The iced coffee had a strong bitter taste, which I enjoyed. I finished my meal quickly and now I'm off to work!

This is a breakfast review around Nakano Station. Today, I visited Café Beroche located on the east side of the Book First near the north exit (*^^*). I ordered the A set of the morning set (tax included 480 yen), which includes a toast sandwich with melty cheese and tuna, and an iced coffee. There is a water server next to the pick-up counter, which is a convenient service especially in the summer to stay hydrated while waiting. After about 3 minutes, the order was ready. The toast sandwich consisted of three slices of bread cut diagonally, freshly toasted and hot! The sea chicken and melty cheese were generously filled inside (*'▽'*). The iced coffee was a refreshing type with a mild bitterness. A quick and delicious meal, thanks for the meal ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ.

I visited after a long time. I stopped by during a short wait for a meeting. Since I had limited time, I only had an iced coffee. It had a light flavor and was easy to drink. It was hot, so I ended up drinking it all at once. The inside of the shop was quite crowded, with people looking for seats to sit. I have never tried their food before, so if I have the chance next time, I will try eating something around the next visit.

■ I went to the Veloce Nakano store to get the "Bitter Sweet Pudding" that was released on April 5th for 420 yen. ■ I usually avoided the Nakano store because it's always crowded. ■ As expected, even in the 4 pm hour on this day, it was super crowded! And loud Chinese voices were flying around in various seats. ■ In fact, this is the first time I've seen a Veloce store this noisy... to be honest, I won't be coming back next time... ■ But luckily, they had the last one available today! Yay! ■ It's a delicious coffee pudding with espresso added and soft serve ice cream on top. ■ By the way, the soft serve is from "nissei." ■ I usually order the coffee jelly with soft serve (370 yen) for dessert at Veloce, but I think I'll alternate between that and the new pudding from now on.

Veloché in Nakano. The interior is spacious with plenty of seats, but there are also many customers. Despite the crowd, there are a lot of solo customers, and the atmosphere is relatively quiet. This time, I ordered a large size iced coffee (300 yen). While the medium size is served in a glass, the large size is served in a plastic cup, which is a bit strange, but probably because they don't have large size glasses. Veloché is known for being affordable, and personally, I feel that they can't beat Doutor or Tully's in terms of taste, but when I tried the iced coffee after a long time, it wasn't bad. Nowadays, many cafes have become expensive, so just having a place where you can sit and have iced coffee for 300 yen is appreciated. This time, I was with a friend, so we sat at a table, but there are also counter seats with outlets, which I thought would be convenient for people who want to work on their smartphones or PCs.

It's about a 5-minute walk from Nakano Station North Exit. It's located near the intersection past Nakano Sun Plaza. I don't have much time to relax in the mornings except on my days off, so I decided to come for breakfast after a long time. I visited around 9:30 am on a Saturday. The interior of the restaurant has counter seats along the walls, table seats, and a large communal table, with enough space for about 50 people. The decor is calming with a wood grain design. The tables are small, so not ideal for meals. You need to place your order and pay before sitting down. Payment can be made using QR code. This time, I ordered the following: "Morning Set B" (480 yen), "Egg and Ham Mix" (280 yen), and "Coffee Jelly" (370 yen). The food was served in about 3 minutes. Breakfast is served until 11:00 am. The "Morning Set B" includes blended coffee and a Kaiser roll with scrambled eggs and bacon. The Kaiser roll had a crispy exterior and a soft texture inside. The scrambled eggs, enhanced by the saltiness of the bacon, had a good balance of flavors. The "Egg and Ham Mix" was simple but delicious. The highlight was the "Coffee Jelly," which was delightful. It consisted of coffee jelly topped with soft serve ice cream, creating a perfect combination of bitter jelly and sweet ice cream. I really enjoy the contrast between cold ice cream and hot coffee. As expected from a chain restaurant, the food was consistently tasty. I used to enjoy a Kaiser roll with tuna mayo, but unfortunately, it's no longer on the menu. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

On a peaceful Saturday, I was looking forward to spending the next day enjoying my hobbies while my wife was out all day. I was watching a movie when suddenly my wife said, "Are you free tomorrow? I have an extra ticket to a live show and I want you to come with me." And just like that, my peaceful Sunday was disrupted by unexpected plans to attend a live show in Nakano. The show had a day and night session, and even during the break between sessions, we ended up at a café ordering drinks and coffee jelly. The café, Beloché, had a cozy atmosphere and the drinks were delicious. The live show itself was entertaining, but I found myself more amused by the quirky characters in the front row audience than the idol on stage. There was a girl with a sad face, a dancer who would suddenly break into dance, a rapper wannabe, and a tall guy standing still like a statue. They were more entertaining than the idol herself.

Today, I went for a walk towards Nakano and stopped by this Velocce along Nakano Street for a light lunch break. I've been here a few times before, but I never left a review because I always just had tea or rooibos tea. What I had this day was the One-Hand Pizza - Pepperoni & Bacon for 480 yen (tax included). I mentioned going for a walk as if it was a coincidence, but the truth is I received information that Velocce is selling pizza for a limited time, so that was actually my main purpose (laughs). The pizza is on a dough that is soft and chewy like naan, topped with tomato sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and bacon. It's not incredibly delicious, but you can't really go wrong with this kind of thing, and as a pizza lover, I was satisfied to be able to easily enjoy something pizza-like. I had it with a warm rooibos tea for 275 yen. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I ordered the lunch set with Porcini cream spaghetti for 800 yen (tax included), along with an Americano. As a bonus, I also got a strawberry jam sandwich for 132 yen. I was given a buzzer and waited for about 6-7 minutes to receive my order. When I got it, I was surprised by the portion size, it was a bit small. The spaghetti was quite filling, maybe because of the cream sauce, so it was enough for me, but I wondered if there was really 100g of dry noodles in it. The taste was okay, nothing special. The strawberry jam sandwich was a nice dessert with plenty of strawberry jam inside, it was delicious. I didn't try it this time, but the peanut butter sandwich is also tasty. The restaurant is located a bit north of Sun Plaza and is quite spacious and popular, but they have plenty of single seats available, even after 12 pm. I think the service was good, the staff's voice was clear, and they were attentive even when busy, going around wiping tables.

Thank you for the delicious blended coffee at Blend Coffee M♪ The shop is located just a few minutes' walk from Nakano Station (North Exit). I visited around 6 pm on a weekday. The place was quite crowded, with some people working on their laptops. It seems like daily life is returning to normal.

I had some errands in Nakano and arrived early, so I stopped by for some water. It's spacious here. It was somewhat crowded, but there are many counter seats and seats for two, and everyone is quietly enjoying their time. I usually prefer hot coffee, but it was too hot so I got an iced coffee. It revived me. Thank you.

In 2020, I met a lot of different places, but this one was a surprising find. Despite visiting Nakano several times, I had never been to this shop before. After thoroughly sanitizing my hands, I ordered my usual hot coffee. The warmth of the coffee in the cold weather was truly revitalizing! So good!

I was spending a leisurely time in Nakano until the main event at 7 pm. As it got closer to the time, I thought about what to do until then, so I decided to relax at a cafe. Even though it was past 5 pm and almost dinner time, the cafe was surprisingly crowded. People were not in a rush to leave before dinner, and many were enjoying their time at the cafe. I managed to secure a seat and ordered a blend coffee, served in a mug. I ended up staying longer than planned, but it was nice to blend in with the relaxed atmosphere. It's convenient to have a place to sit down, especially since many facilities don't even have benches anymore.

During the Golden Week period on Children's Day, I visited the restaurant on Tuesday morning before 8:30 am. The interior of the restaurant is quite spacious, but due to the state of emergency, tables and counter seats were marked with signs to keep a distance between them. I ordered the Morning Set A Tuna Melt (390 yen tax included), which consisted of a Kaiser bun that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with a slightly tangy tuna mayo and flavorful cheddar cheese, making it a perfect small size dish for breakfast. It was served warm. The set comes with a choice of coffee or tea in medium size. You can upgrade to a large size for an additional 40 yen.

Berocce is a cafe chain where you can get a cup of coffee for only 200 yen, which is quite cheap. Since I've only ever had their cheap coffee before, I decided to try something different this time. I ordered a Cafe au Lait for 250 yen and a limited-time pudding cake-like dessert. The Cafe au Lait tasted cheap, probably because the base coffee is cheap to begin with. As for the pudding cake, the pudding was like a flan and the sponge cake at the bottom was dry. I also had a taste of my friend's pudding drink, which was like a pudding shake.

I use Nakano Station for work, so I visit this place occasionally. Today, I ordered the Morning Set for the first time. It was called the Kaiser Sand, which was a sandwich with fluffy scrambled eggs and bacon sandwiched between soft bread. It was surprisingly delicious for a chain restaurant! I will definitely come back to try it again. And of course, the coffee from Becksche was reliably cheap. I'm not a coffee expert, I just need one cup a day, so this coffee at this price is more than enough for me. I forgot to take a picture of the Morning Set, so here's a snapshot of the iced coffee.

Visited in 1510. 80% full. Had iced coffee M for ¥210 x 2 and chocolate chunk scone for ¥220. After exploring Nakano Broadway, took a coffee break. Was tired from walking and really wanted to sit down. At times like this, big shops are a lifesaver. Shared a chocolate chip scone with my wife. The subtle sweetness was delicious. Now that we've recovered from tiredness, let's head to Tokyo Station. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by to take a quick break!! The store was more on the one-floor side in terms of the layout, and it was quite crowded. They were collaborating with Chocoball for a limited time, and it was so delicious!! Definitely try it out if you get the chance, haha.
