I had the Wagyu hamburger lunch at Black Hole Shinjuku Sanchome, a yakiniku restaurant located a 2-minute walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station in Tokyo. The restaurant is on the 8th floor of a building where my favorite Chinese tea house, 8, is also located. I arrived at 1:30 pm and had to wait a bit before being seated in a semi-private room. I ordered using a touch panel, chose the spicy black pepper sauce, and opted for a rare white peach soda as the service drink. The white peach soda arrived promptly, with a faint peach scent but mostly soda taste. In just over 10 minutes, my hamburger, rice, and soup were served. The hamburger sizzled on the hot plate, accompanied by bean sprouts, french fries, and broccoli. When I poured the sauce over the hamburger, it splattered everywhere, so I quickly covered myself with a paper apron. The hamburger was juicy and flavorful, with a minimal binder, and the bean sprouts paired well with the sauce. I was completely satisfied and finished every last bite. Delicious!

I arrived at around 11:30 on a regular day. I was seated promptly and ordered the Wagyu hamburger lunch set for 1,000 yen using my smartphone. I was informed that the free cabbage refill policy had been discontinued, so I opted for an extra large portion of cabbage instead. The dressing on the right side of the photo is delicious. The hamburger seemed slightly smaller than before, but it was still juicy and tasty. Thank you for the meal.

This is my first visit to this restaurant located about a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station. I arrived around 1:30 pm on a weekday and there were 2 people waiting outside. It was uncertain how long the wait would be, but I decided to wait anyway. Although many people were coming out, we were not let in for a while. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I was finally seated inside. The interior had semi-private table seating. Orders were taken by scanning a QR code. Today, I ordered the Wagyu hamburger lunch for 1,000 yen. The food arrived in about 5 minutes on a sizzling hot plate. The hamburger was juicy and flavorful, with a good balance of seasoning that brought out the natural flavors of the meat. The meal came with rice, cabbage and carrot soup, fried potatoes, broccoli, and shredded cabbage. It also included oolong tea and dessert. The value for money at 1,000 yen was great. The soup had a gentle consomme flavor with lots of cabbage. I added dressing to the shredded cabbage, which was similar to a sesame oil-based dressing used in salads. The only downside was the greasy fried potatoes. Overall, the meal was enjoyable. The rice was just the right texture, and you could even get a free large portion. The dessert was a grape jelly with whipped cream, offering a refreshing finish. It seemed like the slightly higher-grade lunches were also popular, with about half of the customers ordering them. Although the service was a bit lacking, I still think it's a good restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, I met up with my yakiniku eating buddies in Roppongi and had dinner in Shinjuku. We chose this restaurant because it was close to the simulation golf store after dinner. We met in front of Isetan in Shinjuku Sanchome and entered the restaurant on time for our reservation. I have been to the Kabukicho main store before, but this branch is my first time. Since I couldn't find a course option when making a reservation, we decided to order a la carte for the first time in a while. All-you-can-drink for 2200 yen per person Assorted five kinds for 2500 yen Thick-cut premium tongue for 2420 yen Thinly sliced beef tongue for 1870 yen Premium harami for 2090 yen Black Hole upper kalbi for 1100 yen Assorted namul for 715 yen Assorted kimchi for 715 yen Stone bibimbap for 990 yen The meat was all delicious, but...the thick-cut premium tongue was too thick and difficult to eat. Maybe I prefer thinly sliced tongue after all...? This is my impression after eating a la carte for the first time in a while...I tend to order too much when ordering a la carte...Maybe course meals are better as you can try a variety of dishes in smaller portions. Well, we are going to play simulation golf after this, so we will burn off the calories. Thank you for the meal.

A family of three visited the restaurant on a weekday at 8:30 PM, which seemed a bit late as there were no other customers. The appearance of the meat carpaccio was different from the menu, which made me a little worried, but both the yukhoe and the quality of the meat for grilling were good and delicious. The other menu items were also tasty. The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side, so I wish the staff would show a bit more enthusiasm in their service.

Visited for Sunday lunch. The ordering system had changed from touch panel to QR code smartphone ordering. I ordered a hamburger with grilled chicken and a fried egg topping with shariapin sauce. I noticed that there was no option for extra cabbage on the menu. When I asked the staff, they mentioned that I could have requested a larger portion when ordering. It's frustrating that you can't order items not listed on the menu through the smartphone. I've encountered a similar issue before. It would be better if you could request extras at the time of ordering. It's also odd that you have to order water through the smartphone. Despite the good taste and value for money, the service is lacking.

Located in a building across from Hermes at Shinjuku Isetan. Entered a little after 12 pm on a weekday. The restaurant was mostly semi-private, with about 50% occupancy. Ordered the morning ground beef hamburger at the yakiniku restaurant with Sharapin sauce for me and spicy black pepper sauce for my wife. Started with soup and drinks, and the hamburgers arrived in about 10 minutes. The instructions said to cut it in half or quarters because it might be undercooked. However, when it arrived, it wasn't sizzling on the hot plate, so I cut it to check, and it was already medium. The hamburger was meaty but lacked juiciness. I preferred the Sharapin sauce, finding it lighter. The rice seemed dry, perhaps overcooked. Regretted getting the large portion. As for dessert... maybe the day I went was just an off day, as the reviews were generally positive.

After many years, I visited this place again. It seems less crowded than before. I wonder if the lunch menu has been reduced. In the past, drinks used to be charged unless you had a point card, but now they are free. I ordered the regular hamburger with a fried egg on top. I chose the spicy black pepper sauce from the four options. It arrived in about 15 minutes. The hamburger was hot and had a nice meaty texture. The sauce with a hint of spiciness was also good. I opted for extra rice, which turned out to be quite a substantial portion. I couldn't find the option for extra cabbage on the touch panel, so maybe they no longer offer it. Considering the volume and taste, 1100 yen is quite a good deal. I recommend it for when you want to eat heartily.

I ordered the hamburger and pork lunch set. It came with a drink, soup, rice, and jelly for ¥1300. There were many drink options, so I chose the kiwi soda, which was sweet and sour and delicious. The hamburger was tough to cut with a fork, not particularly tender, but it had that meaty satisfaction. You could choose from several sauces, and I went with the pepper sauce, which had a nice peppery kick. It was a happy lunch break. Thank you for the meal.

The meat is delicious! Weekday yakiniku and beer are exceptional! The cost performance is very good, with tongue, kalbi, and wagyu lean meat all being top-notch. In some high-end places, even though it's lean meat, there is too much marbling, which is disappointing, but here it's perfectly lean without being too dry. Perfect for those on a diet. It's a bit tough with the 2-hour time limit in Shinjuku and Ikebukuro though.

This time, I made a reservation through Tabelog and visited this restaurant for the first time with an acquaintance. The restaurant is located in a building along Meiji Street in Shinjuku Sanchome, right in front of Shinjuku Isetan. We ordered a variety of dishes such as assorted meats, beef tongue, horse sashimi yukhoe, and sliced Hokkaido four-element pork. Every cut of meat was colorful and very delicious. We also ordered a small bowl of rice, and the delicious yakiniku rice was also very satisfying. For dessert, we had ice cream wrapped in a daifuku. It's a yakiniku restaurant that makes you want to come back again next time.

After watching a musical at the New National Theatre, I felt like having a quick meal, and for some reason, I ended up at a yakiniku restaurant... Maybe because I had too much seafood the day before. Meat was calling my name. (I totally forgot about having a hamburger for lunch the day before) While I was in the restroom, my companion ordered a tongue assortment platter. Why tongue... and all tongue!? It has to be really good tongue for me to eat it! My teeth are weak. My slight concern became a reality as I couldn't chew it properly. I managed to swallow one piece of tongue, but that was it. I tried ordering the premium meat of the day listed on the wall, but it was so sinewy. It said 2,178 yen on the receipt, but... a bit disappointing. I thought liver would be okay, but I couldn't even chew that, and it made me sad. The premium loin I ordered last was decent. For dessert, my companion wanted to have a hot pot, so we ordered the Yukkejang hot pot, which was the most delicious dish of the night with its spicy flavor. The meat... felt like I kept getting the short end of the stick. Disappointing overall.

This time, I visited a highly rated yakiniku restaurant in Shinjuku, "Wagyu Shio Yakiniku Black Hole Shinjuku Sanchome Store". I ordered the Black Wagyu rare cut kalbi teppanyaki lunch set (2,000 yen). I thought it was a bit expensive for lunch, but the quality of the meat was worth it. On a regular night, we ordered the classic choices of kalbi, loin, and tongue. It's not high-end but not cheap either, so when we ordered a variety of items including side dishes, the total price was reasonable. Overall, the meat was tender and delicious. The only downside was that the thick-cut tongue was difficult to chew. The flavor was good though.

I went for lunch and the portion was generous. I had the Mixed Grill Set, where you can choose 3 side dishes. I chose hamburger, crab cream croquette, and grilled pork belly. Rice, cabbage, and soup are refillable. It was delicious and I also had an iced coffee, all for 1500 yen.
