I sat at the counter this time, but the other seating areas are spacious, so it seems suitable for large groups like year-end parties. The food and drinks are both excellent, making it quite versatile. The horse sashimi is delicious, and there is a wide variety of dishes that go well with alcohol, making it a great choice for drinkers like myself! I will definitely visit again!

The restaurant had a spacious interior with a high ceiling and a stylish atmosphere, which seemed a bit too fancy for two middle-aged men, haha. The menu featured dishes like horse sashimi, deer karaage, and sashimi. We didn't have much time, so we focused on drinking. Someone mentioned that it was Shochu Day today, so we tried Yamaneko, Kenhachi, and Chu Chu, which were all new to me and tasted great on the rocks. The Shochu here is poured generously over ice, which was a pleasant surprise. We only spent about an hour and a half drinking, but it was a fun and enjoyable evening. Thank you for the meal!

The pork stew was delicious not only because of the tasty meat, but also because of the flavorful broth. The sweet broth with a hint of mirin was delightful and paired well with the sake. The Amakusa Daio was slightly firm. The horse meat steak was comparable to beef, and the ability to choose the doneness was a nice touch. Next time, I might try the three kinds of horse sashimi. This is a delicious restaurant for horse meat. I used to not like horse meat, but I couldn't say no when my friend wanted to eat it. However, after trying it, I found it similar to beef and easy to eat. The rare cuts of horse meat, like mane, were also delicious with a nice amount of fat. I think I can eat horse meat from now on.

Near Kyoto Station, four of us had a party at a delicious izakaya specializing in horse meat. We reserved a course for 5000 yen, which included 8 dishes and a 120-minute all-you-can-drink option. The horse sashimi came in a 4-kind assortment, with only about 2 slices per person, but each piece looked fresh and tasted delicious! The simmered yellowtail daikon had a nice depth of flavor. The fried dishes and salad were ordinary, but the main dish, horse meat stewed hamburger, had a better texture than beef and was juicy yet refreshing! It really showcased the potential of horse meat. We also enjoyed the cooked rice, red miso soup, and dessert that came afterwards. Overall, we were satisfied! The time limit was reasonable considering the all-you-can-drink and food quality. It would have been nice to have an extra hour, and a course that included more horse and deer meat would have been even better. I would like to come back next time to try their a la carte menu! Instead of a platter, we ordered four different types individually. The freshness and portion size were good. If dining alone, I would want to order one of each. The deer meat had a strong flavor. The salad was quite large, even for three people. We tried various other dishes, but my memory is a bit fuzzy. The selection of shochu was abundant. If I have the chance, I would like to go again.
