This is located on the 10th floor of a building across from Shibuya Post Office along Miyamasuzaka. Just a 3-minute walk from Shibuya Station, it is a somewhat bustling location, but as soon as you reach the 10th floor, you will find the entrance to a serene Edomae sushi restaurant. Upon entering, you will be greeted by a tranquil counter seat. The lighting, interior, and art are all perfect, creating a stylish space for a traditional sushi restaurant (there are also private rooms in the back). The first dish served was "Shijimi Ichiban Dashi," which was quite impressive from the start! The size of the dish, the presentation, and the taste were all fantastic. Despite coming in during a busy work period, I was able to relax and unwind with the gentle flavors. The first drink I had was Italian Premium Draft Beer PERONI NASTRO AZZURRO, which was described as having a great compatibility with white fish and a refreshing and clean aftertaste, making it a perfect match for sushi. Next, I had a seasonal appetizer platter with 5 varieties, which was beautifully presented. The first piece of sushi was Chutoro, and having Chutoro as the first piece was quite a delight! This was followed by Hirame, Madai, and Mekajiki, all meticulously prepared, with the Mekajiki even being slightly seared. The Iwashi with Tomato Jelly was a creative dish that followed, offering a delightful combination of acidity, saltiness, and a hint of bitterness. The Uni and Ikura Mini Donburi was a super stylish bowl, both in presentation and taste. Served with Japanese sake from Shikoku, the Hiramono no Mashu provided a gentle and exquisite flavor. Returning to sushi, I enjoyed Sawara, Zuketuna, Hotate, and Akagai no Konbu-zuke, all of which were incredibly delicious. The Akagai no Konbu-zuke, in particular, was outstanding. I then had the Cuvee Gyotaku white wine, specially crafted to pair with sushi, which was a blend of Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Muscat, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc. The Corn An Sauce Chawanmushi and Tamago, a seasonal chawanmushi and egg dish with a dessert-like texture, were so delicious that I found myself drinking more than usual and ordered a bottle of Dassai sake. The Nitsuke Anago and Toro Taku were both labor-intensive dishes, with the Toro Taku being wrapped in seaweed. Lastly, I had Akadashi with Peach Sherbet. Although I don't usually eat this much in the evening, the ambiance, the chef's skills, the presentation, the aroma, and the taste were all superb. The lunch menu offers seafood bowls and nigiri at a reasonable price, making it an exceptional choice for enjoying delicious sushi in a great atmosphere near Shibuya Station. When you want to enjoy delicious sushi in a nice setting, this is a highly recommended restaurant.
