I have always prided myself on eating at various places, from famous ones to casual yakiniku restaurants, but this place is on a whole different level in terms of quality of meat and variety! The owner, Mr. Horie, is truly a "meat enthusiast" haha. They are particular about using Kagoshima black wagyu beef and only source the best meat through strong relationships with suppliers (usually you can't just order "black wagyu beef" without also buying lower quality meat). The special sauce adds a rich and delicious flavor to the yukhoe, and the thick slices of tongue with milky meat juices are mind-blowing. They serve high-quality cuts of meat at this price...great value. Because the meat is so good, they recommend eating it with rock salt instead of sauce, showing their confidence in the quality of their meat. I want to treat myself here multiple times! Highly recommend this place.

It was a completely private room with a luxurious feel. I didn't make the reservation so I'm not sure which course it was, but it seemed to be around 5000 yen plus extras. The meat had a refined fat content. It was just right! The surprise cake was in the shape of a potted plant and the spoon was shovel-shaped, which was cute! It's smooth to go after making a reservation.

About half was enough. The extreme tongue three types are a combination of Tanmoto, Tannaka, and Tan Shabu. You grill them yourself while rubbing the rock salt placed at your hand. Rare cuts assortment - Misuji, core, tongue, shoulder triangle. The lean meat was outstanding, especially the Misuji. Black Wagyu beef with tail part. A flavorful lean meat enjoyed simply with wasabi and rock salt. I prefer good meat with simple seasoning. Two types of hormone - crunchy and chewy. The crunchy one was indeed crunchy! The chewy one was easy to bite through. The salt sauce was delicious. Wagyu beef seared sushi - enjoyed with soy sauce. The meat melted in the mouth, with a rich sweetness and a touch of gold leaf on top. Perfect in taste and appearance. Dessert was an Earl Grey flavored pudding with cookie crumbs on top. It was delicious. I was happy to have such high-quality meat for lunch. I would love to visit again.

On this day, I decided to have yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) and visited this restaurant. The place is called "Gyuu no Tatsujin" and it seems like their main focus now is on private rooms for yakiniku dining. The location is convenient, just a 2-minute walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Toei Oedo Line. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of a building, accessible by stairs or elevator. Upon entering, the staff greeted us and led us to our reserved private room. The room was equipped with a table, plates, aprons, and even a closet for coats and belongings. We opted for the "Takumi Course" priced at 8000 yen, which included a variety of dishes. The meal started with a fresh garden salad with a delicious dressing, followed by a seafood and wagyu beef tartare dish. Then, we moved on to grilling various cuts of beef, starting with a premium tongue assortment. The thinly sliced tongue was tender and flavorful, especially when grilled on a Himalayan salt plate. Next, we enjoyed a premium harami (skirt steak) and a selection of rare cuts like Tomo-sankaku, Shinshin, Katakori, and Kamenoko. Each cut was high-quality and cooked to perfection. We also had a break with seasonal vegetables and meat miso dip, which was surprisingly tasty. For the finale, we had the option of wagyu beef nigiri or Morioka cold noodles. We chose the wagyu beef nigiri, followed by a special dish called "Gokiyaki Sukiyaki" featuring thinly sliced Zabuton (Chuck flap) beef with egg yolk and sauce. The meal ended with a delicious homemade dessert called "Cassata," which was a creamy cheese-based treat with fruit sauce and berries. I found this restaurant while looking for a place where I could have lunch in a private room, so I made a reservation. Since I was led to a private room, I didn't know how crowded the restaurant was, but there were customers in other rooms as well. I ordered the special lunch course. The smoked bacon on top of eringi mushroom potato salad with boiled egg had an interesting presentation, but the bacon didn't taste very smoky and the potato salad was a bit dry. The roast beef with pumpkin sauce was okay, the beef was tender. They offered to bring rice if I wanted. The premium beef tongue trio included tongue base, tongue middle, and tongue tip, served on a salt plate. The tongue base was the most delicious! The Japanese beef lean meat assortment included harami, sinew, shoulder triangle, and knuckle parts, which were best enjoyed with wasabi. The homemade marinated meat kalbi and harami was tasty. The Japanese beef seared sushi was easy to eat in one bite. For dessert, there was a red tea pudding with an Oreo on top, served in a small pot with a mint sprout, which was a cute touch. I was having a meeting, so the portions were small but just right. The meat portions were a bit small though, I wish there were at least two pieces of each instead of one. Thank you for the meal!

We used it for a party of 8 people. It was a large group, but the staff handled it smoothly and the food came out in a timely manner. We couldn't take many photos during the party, but the food was delicious. The presentation was average. Overall, we were satisfied because the food was tasty. The other rooms are also private, so it's very convenient for parties or dates. It would have been even better if the staff had more smiles. Thank you for accommodating our large group! We have visited this restaurant and its affiliated stores about three times. We plan to visit again in the future.

Visited "Gyuno Tatsujin Private" in Nishi-Shinjuku for a yakiniku lunch. The restaurant offers private rooms for each table, allowing guests to enjoy their meal in privacy. The store was dark when I entered, which made me wonder. But once I entered the private room, it was bright and reassuring. There weren't many types of meat, but they were all delicious. Eating with rock salt instead of sauce was also good. The quality of the meat was good. (*^^*) And the staff's customer service was polite and likeable. I had lunch with a friend who requested a private room, so I searched for a restaurant with private rooms and found this place. All rooms were completely private, not just divided by partitions, so we were able to enjoy our meal without worrying about others. We ordered the Kalbi & Harami set for 1480 yen before tax. It came with 3 slices of beef each, salad, and beef rice bowl. The Kalbi wasn't as juicy as I had hoped, but considering the price and the fact that we got 3 slices each, it was sufficient. The beef rice bowl had a strong flavor that paired well with the rice. It also came with a tamagoyaki, which was a nice touch. It's a bit of a walk from Shinjuku Station, but if you value a completely private room, it's worth it. The staff were friendly and attentive, which left a good impression. I'm glad we went.
