I ordered the soupless tantanmen (regular size) with a side of small rice. There were several additional toppings available for an extra charge, but as it was my first visit and I wasn't sure, I decided not to add anything. You can choose the level of spiciness for the tantanmen, ranging from 0 (no spice) to 4. I went with the most popular choice, level 2. As shown in the photo, the regular order (without toppings) only had meat and green onions in it. The noodles were thin but cooked just right, providing a satisfying chew. Level 2 had a bit of a kick, but even as someone who isn't great with spice, I found it very delicious. The Sichuan pepper already added was tasty, but the additional Sichuan pepper provided on the table was even better! Apparently, they are different types. Definitely give it a try! After finishing the noodles, I mixed the rice in the bowl with the special sauce, vinegar, and Sichuan pepper provided on the table, and it was truly delicious! For men, the regular size might be a bit small, so I'll go for the large size next time. There were mostly female customers, so it seems like a place where even a solo female diner can feel comfortable.

I'm not a fan of spicy food, so I told them I prefer 0 spiciness, and they recommended the 1 spiciness option without sansho pepper. As a result, even for those who don't like spicy food, it was delicious with a level of spiciness that can be enjoyed! You may not feel the numbness unique to soupless tantanmen, but it was a flavor that makes you want to eat it again because you like that taste and noodles. The bowl was the same as the one in Hiroshima, which sparked memories of my trip. Thank you for the meal!

<Small solo exhibition at Bar Yunagi until 9/23> On 9/3, I was saved by the stable business at the antenna shop on Sundays. It's been a while since I visited King Ken on the 1st floor of Hiroshima Brand Shop Tau. I like extra green onions, but this time I added celery and the newly introduced vegetable addition. What does the vegetable addition entail? I chose a spice level of 2. It was just past 12:00 and almost full, but I managed to secure a seat at the end of the counter by the window. With no Mizuho in sight, I can see all the way to Harry Winston. The changes in this town are also meaningful. After a short wait, I was called by number "11" to pick up my bowl, and the vegetable addition turned out to be baby greens. I stirred the bush of noodles that I couldn't see absentmindedly about 30 times. Once it was well mixed, I enjoyed the noodles. The spiciness was pleasantly numbing, and the refreshing taste of celery mixed with leafy greens created a gentle bowl overall. The amount of noodles was just right, making it a light meal. I successfully overcame Sunday difficulties once again on this day. Thank you for the meal. The production secrets of "Ice Cream Fever," based on an original idea by Mieko Kawakami and directed by Tetsuya Chihara, were too interesting. Director Chihara runs a design company and had a dream of making movies (which he fulfilled ✨). For this project, he challenged himself with the theme "designing movie production." The film, created through trial and error in everything from staff and cast to production methods and promotion, fully utilized his career while pursuing free expression, showing his bias and being wonderful. The 4:3 aspect ratio is the best. Initially, for about two years, no matter how many proposals they submitted, they were turned away, and the offer to Kenji Ozawa for the ending theme was made through an inquiry from the official HP's info section‼️ It warms my heart to see someone who has built a successful career in their main job go through so much hardship to pursue their dreams. The director already wants to make the next film based on this experience, and there are rumors that Kawakami has asked, "Do you need me for the next one too?" Exciting times ahead. Where shall I go tomorrow?

Today, I had some business in Ginza and ended up at this restaurant. It's so hot, I feel like I'm going to die. I thought it was a regular restaurant, but it was actually part of the Hiroshima Prefecture antenna shop. That's why it's called an outpost. There were 4 people ahead of me in line. I ordered and waited while standing for a seat to open up. After about 15 minutes, my number was called and I got a seat. Then, after another 5 minutes, my dish arrived. It said to mix it well before eating. I mixed it about 30 times and tried it. It was good, delicious. The noodles were thin and slightly firm. The spiciness and numbness were just right. It had a bit of a dry noodle feel to it. It was really good. While eating, I thought I would come back again. Next time, I'll try ordering extra green onions. When I finished the noodles, I added rice, which was also delicious. It was a satisfying lunch.

I was impressed by the food in Hiroshima and visited the Osaka Station Building a few times when it opened. I knew they had an antenna shop, but it's been a while since I've been to Kinguken. I ordered the level 2 spiciness with extra noodles. It's so nostalgic. I mixed it less than 30 times. The noodles were a bit firm, but still delicious. I didn't order rice because there was no sauce left after eating.

It was a weekend visit around 12:30. It was a perfect time for lunch to try the popular yuzu daifuku that goes on sale at 13:30. We ordered the simple dish of soupless tantanmen with extra spice for 700 yen. Mix the noodles, green onions, and ingredients well! Sprinkle plenty of sansho pepper on top! Take your time to slurp it up so it doesn't splash! The thin noodles cooked al dente, meat miso, Kujyo negi, and lots of sansho pepper make your whole mouth tingle, but the balance is good and delicious! The ingredients are simple but since it's in Ginza, the price is understandable. It's a good place for those who want to eat quickly.

I happened to stop by a shop that also served delicious tantanmen noodles, so I decided to try it. They offer tantanmen with spice levels ranging from 1 to 5. I'm not a big fan of spicy food, but I tried the default level 2. It was really spicy. There was more Sichuan pepper than I had imagined. However, I felt that if the spiciness was a bit milder, it would have been absolutely delicious (it was still very tasty at level 2). I want to challenge myself with level 1 next time.

I couldn't visit this shop during my trip to Hiroshima. I had known about this shop for a long time and finally got to go since they only open during lunchtime! I ordered the Hiroshima-style soup-less tantanmen, medium spicy with extra green onions, and a mini rice. As a green onion lover, I was thrilled to see so many green onions! Following the instructions on the table, I mixed everything together, sprinkled the special sansho pepper on top, and enjoyed it. It was spicy and delicious! Although there was not much ground meat, the abundance of green onions and sansho pepper added a nice touch. After finishing the noodles, I put the mini rice into the remaining sauce in the bowl, added the table sauce, vinegar, sliced red chili pepper, and more sansho pepper to create tantan rice. It was also delicious, and I finished it in no time. It was so good! I also bought one uncooked oyster bun since the cooked ones were sold out. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm looking forward to it! I will definitely go back again. Thank you for the meal.

I learned about and tried Hiroshima-style soup-less Dan Dan noodles for the first time. I ordered the lunch set with level 4 spiciness and added green onions on top. At the entrance counter, I declared the spiciness level and toppings, paid the fee, and received a food ticket. If there are no available seats, they won't issue the ticket. As a first-timer, I followed the instructions on how to eat it, starting with mixing everything together. The spiciness was refreshing and delicious. There was only a small amount of minced meat for toppings, but the soup was tasty. It's a different style from typical Chinese restaurants. I added extra Sichuan pepper from the table during the meal. The aroma of the crab and Sichuan pepper stood out. Lastly, I added mini rice, a dash of vinegar and sauce from the table, and mixed it again. The vinegar and sauce enhanced the flavor and added satisfaction. Overall, it was delicious. I broke a slight sweat around my nose. However, if the menu only consists of this one item, I don't feel the need to go there often.

When I thought about buying at the antenna shop, I found a store here and decided to eat before going home. Other emoticon explanations can be found in the profile. Especially things that are difficult to express in words are expressed only with emoticons. Detailed evaluation: 3.2 points Price evaluation/Regular price 700/700 Sign: Target cuisine: Soup-less tantanmen Taste impression: Mix it 30 times. It's quite delicious. It was a good decision to eat here rather than buying and taking it home. (Rarely, I may mention a 5-point store outside the column.) 5 points: Only one store that I like the most in each category (e.g. one ramen store, one curry store) 4.5 or higher: I want to use it again and again, even if I have to travel or line up. 4 points or higher: I want to use it again and again, I can recommend it to entertain or friends. 3.5 or higher: It goes on the revisit list. 3 points or higher: If it's nearby... if there are no other options, I'll go. 2 points or higher: Look for other stores, won't go on my own. 1 point: Won't go again, will refuse even if invited 1 point or less: It's no longer food, shouldn't be in the customer service business. * Even if it's 3.5 or higher, if you get tired of the menu after a few visits, the rating may drop.

After more than 2 years, I suddenly felt like eating Hiroshima-style soupless tantanmen, so I ordered the lunch set (tantanmen with onsen egg and small rice) with extra noodles and green onions topping, spiciness level 3 (a bit spicier than normal) for 1,100 yen. Before eating, I mixed it over 30 times to get excited, added some sansho pepper halfway through for a little flavor change, and finished with tantan rice. It was to my liking and I finished it in no time.

Please stop putting the bowl on top of the receipt. It gets oily and sticky, making it impossible to put in my wallet. So I forgot the price, but it was probably around 700 yen. It's cheap and delicious, so I will come back again. Next time, I will definitely order rice and a hot spring egg.

I often visit the antenna shop TAU in Hiroshima Prefecture. Every time I went, I was curious but never had the chance to try it until now. It was lunchtime and there were empty seats, so I decided to give it a try. It was my first time, so I was a bit confused about how to eat it. I think I ordered the level 2 spiciness. I like sansho pepper, so the spiciness didn't bother me. However, I felt like the portion was a bit small, so I should have ordered rice as well.

There is an outpost with 10 seats inside the Hiroshima Prefecture antenna shop in Ginza. I visited around 13:30 on a Sunday and was able to be seated immediately with no wait. It was my first time there, so I ordered the classic option of 2 spicy levels, negi (green onions), and mini rice for 900 yen. The dish was served promptly, and there was a sign instructing to mix it 30 times and sprinkle with sansho pepper. The combination of the spicy sansho pepper and meat miso was excellent, and the abundance of green onions added a great flavor. After finishing the noodles, I added the mini rice, poured on the special sauce, vinegar, and more sansho pepper, which was also delicious and refreshing. It had been a while since I was completely satisfied until the end of the meal when I headed home.

I had been curious about this place for a while, so I finally visited with a friend. My friend ordered the regular soup-less tantanmen, while I added extra green onions as a topping. The amount of green onions was amazing. The taste was very refined and Japanese-style, with a clear fragrance of sansho pepper. It was a shame that they were out of Super Dry beer and only had craft beer available. I look forward to trying it with a cold Super Dry beer next time.

I visited Kingken Ginza branch inside the Hiroshima Antenna Shop for a meal of Hiroshima-style soupless tantanmen for 630 yen with a spice level of 4. I added a lunch set which included a hot spring egg and mini rice for an extra 100 yen. Following the recommended way of eating, I mixed in extra chili and sansho pepper, stirring well over 30 times to bring out the spicy flavor. Adding the hot spring egg like sukiyaki added richness and mildness. After finishing the noodles, I mixed in the mini rice with vinegar, sauce, and more sansho pepper for a delicious finish with tantan rice. It was a tasty meal experience!

I visited the restaurant during the day. I arrived at 12 o'clock and there were still empty seats available. I ordered the "Hiroshima-style soupless tantanmen (630 yen)" with a spice level of 3. I also asked for the recommended "mini rice (50 yen)". The food arrived shortly after. Let's dig in. I read the instructions on how to eat it. "Be sure to mix it more than 30 times before eating." "The negi, meat miso, and sauce all have their roles, and only when they are mixed well together does the dish come together. It's not complete until the sauce is gone! When the sauce in the bowl is completely gone, it's done." I mixed it thoroughly and took a bite. The noodles have a firm texture and a distinctive taste. The moderate spiciness and numbing sensation are quite addictive. Personally, I think it could have been a bit spicier. It was delicious. "Finish with tantan rice. Once the noodles are gone, add the rice, drizzle the table sauce, add a splash of vinegar, and finally sprinkle a little bit of red pepper and table mountain pepper. This will allow you to fully enjoy our carefully crafted spices in the tantan rice." I followed the instructions, but I had already mixed everything with the noodles at the beginning. There was hardly any sauce left in the bowl, and it ended up feeling more like "spicy rice" than tantan rice. It might be better to transfer the noodles with plenty of sauce onto the rice and eat it that way. Thank you for the meal.

It's different from the known Tsukemen without soup. It's Hakata ramen noodles with ramen sauce, chili oil, and Sichuan pepper. To put it simply, that's how it is. It's delicious and simple. As you can see, there are no toppings. It's kind of like a simple recipe thought up by a guy living alone, using only seasonings. So, it's tasty, but if asked if it's worth paying for, I honestly have doubts. However, this one is currently very popular. It has a strong attitude of relying solely on this dish and a solid branding. It's full of charm that makes you want to eat it. Surely, it was thought up by someone with great business acumen. Truly impressive!

Dandan noodles without soup (level 3 spicy) with half rice. Located in Ginza inside an antenna shop from Hiroshima Prefecture. The seating is limited, but there were seats available for two people. First, you choose the level of spiciness. I chose level 3, while my wife chose level 2. There is only one type of dish, so I ordered a regular portion with half rice. They provide paper aprons and hand towels for self-service, and once the dish is ready, you go pick it up. Mix it well over 30 times. Mix it well until it turns the same color, then start eating. It's delicious. Simple yet tasty. Add extra Sichuan pepper for an extra kick. Eat the noodles, then add rice, pour the sauce and vinegar, add chili, and mix it again. Mix it well. Finally, sprinkle some Sichuan pepper on top and enjoy. It's delicious. Simple yet tasty. This is all you need, Disney. Thank you for the meal. I also purchased a set of dandan noodles at the shop.

Around 11:30, I was seated right away. I ordered the soup-less tantanmen (spicy) for 630 yen, half rice for 50 yen, and a warm boiled egg for 50 yen. The Hiroshima tantanmen was quite delicious with a spicy kick from the sansho pepper. After finishing the noodles, I mixed in the rice and warm egg to make tantan rice, which was also delicious! Good experience overall.

On Saturday, March 19th, how are you all doing? Please continue to be vigilant against COVID-19 and especially be careful of the Omicron variant. Today, I had my vaccine appointment as part of workplace vaccination. Before heading to the vaccination site, I visited the TAU antenna shop in Ginza. This shop was recently introduced on a TV show featuring Ito Asako and Katase Rino on a budget travel to Hiroshima. I bought the Onomichi ramen, lemon hot pot seasoning, and lemon cake that were showcased on the show. After shopping, I had lunch at the soupless tantanmen restaurant on the first floor. Hiroshima is known for its soupless tantanmen, and Kingken is a famous spot where long queues form. I ordered the soupless tantanmen with a spice level of 3, extra noodles, and a soft-boiled egg, followed by lemon gelato for dessert. The soupless tantanmen is best enjoyed by mixing it thoroughly 30 times before taking a bite. The numbing sensation of the Sichuan pepper kicks in later, making it addictive and delicious. The soft-boiled egg is meant to be dipped in the tantanmen, adding a rich flavor. I also tried the lemon gelato, which was refreshing and had a strong lemon flavor. Overall, the experience of eating at Kingken was satisfying. I recommend trying their soupless tantanmen if you have the chance. Enjoy your meal!
