Today, after dining at Sushi Shoji, I came here for a Vodka Martini. In recent years, Daniel Craig's 007 is said to drink a Vesper, which is different from the Vodka Martini mentioned in the old original work. Today, my friend and I had 3 cocktails, 2 whiskeys, and some nuts, which came to about 9500 yen. Considering the quality of the place, I think it's quite affordable. Today was the wake of a young friend who passed away. I returned from Utsunomiya. I had a little twist on the usual fruit cocktail made for me (they always come up with something nice with fruits here). The classic ones as well as the creatively crafted ones are all delicious, making you appreciate cocktails even more! The drinks served are delicious, and the gorgeous counter and great view through the large glass windows, along with the pleasant service, make it a wonderful bar where you can enjoy all your senses. I visited this place after 2 and a half years. It's a place I was involved with for work 10 years ago. It's the only bar in Ebisu that doesn't feel like it's in a building, with a hotel's back bar. The master I met after a long time was youthful and warmly welcomed me, even remembering my name. Truly a professional bartender! The Laphroaig soda was delicious, with refreshing ice and strong carbonation. For my second drink, I asked the young female bartender for a recommendation and she made me a long cocktail with Japanese craft gin called Roku and plenty of kumquats. It had a fresh citrus flavor and was very tasty! I would love to visit again when drinking in Ebisu. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
