I had been curious about the rotating fruit daifuku for a long time, so it was a long-awaited visit. It seems that takeout is the main option, but there are two stand seats available for eating in. When eating in, they serve complimentary roasted green tea, which was a pleasant surprise as I didn't know about it. There was no drink menu, so I really appreciated the roasted green tea service. I visited on a weekday afternoon, so it was easy to use the seats. I noticed several people getting takeout during that time, so it seems like it's still very popular. For takeout, they put each daifuku in a separate gift box, which adds a sense of luxury. It's a great format that would be appreciated as a gift. The daifuku here is unique in that they flatten the daifuku and decorate it with fruits, creating a fruit daifuku with a decoration concept. It's beautiful from every angle and enjoyable to look at. Inside the black charcoal-infused mochi, they use Hokkaido red beans, homemade caramel, and cream cheese, topped with fruits. The charcoal mochi doesn't have a distinct flavor and is very soft, similar to white daifuku. The white bean paste and cream cheese are surprisingly soft, more like custard cream than bean paste. The sweetness is just right, elegant, and has a rich flavor. ◯ Special Strawberry They use "Red Fairy" and "Suzuakane" summer strawberries, so you can enjoy sweet strawberries in season, not just the typical strawberry season. It's nice that they are domestically sourced. The strawberries were a deep red color with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. They were generously used and very juicy and delicious. ◯ Fruit Kiwi, strawberry, orange, blueberry, raspberry are topped on the daifuku. The fruits were all vibrant in color, indicating their freshness. Most importantly, they were sweet and juicy, allowing us to appreciate the quality of the ingredients.
