It's about a 5-minute walk from the east exit of Takasago Station on the Tobu Skytree Line. A local Chinese restaurant located in a shopping street. The restaurant has a counter with 4 seats and chairs with backrests. There are also 2 sunken kotatsu tables. The counter table is impressive, made of a single large board. While the depth of the table is not that big, there is plenty of space for one person in width. It's a bit disappointing that smoking is allowed, as a lady who came in later sat next to me and smoked heavily. I found a unique menu combination that I have never seen elsewhere - a half and half dish of Gomoku Yakisoba and Chuka Don for 930 yen. The Chinese soup was light, with a thick and hot sauce with a rich and strong flavor. The vegetables such as Chinese cabbage, onions, bell peppers, carrots were crunchy, and there were also pork, peeled shrimp, bamboo shoots, and wood ear mushrooms. Although my jaw still hurt a bit, I managed to eat the quail egg in one bite. The wavy medium-thick noodles were soft, and the rice was on the heavier side. After tasting each separately, I mixed the noodles, rice, and sauce together. It had a considerable weight and satisfying texture. It's a good option when you can't decide between Gomoku Yakisoba and Chuka Don. It was delicious. I also saw a poster for "Let's Drink at a Local Chinese Restaurant," currently airing on BS-TBS. There were two different posters, so it seems like I've been here twice. On the way to the station, I found something new - a frozen vending machine for Sukiya.

The Tokyo Hormones group is always on the lookout for delicious and satisfying meals. We visited a Chinese restaurant in Takanozuka for lunch and were impressed by the extensive menu and drink options. The atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious, especially the Dragon Special dish which combined fried noodles with minced meat and a flavorful sauce. The Gyoza and Tanmen were also tasty. It was a satisfying meal, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Recently, I have been drawn to the charm of local Chinese restaurants. I heard that the yakisoba here at Koryu-san is really good, so I decided to check it out. The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Takenozuka Station on the Tobu Skytree Line, tucked away at the end of a shopping street. I visited on a Sunday just before 3 pm for a late lunch. There was only one other couple dining, an elderly couple enjoying some drinks. I took a seat at the counter and looked over the menu. I decided to order the "Koryu Yakisoba & Koryu Rice" combo and some gyoza. The dish arrived shortly after. It was a yakisoba and rice combo with a thick sauce, minced meat, red and green bell peppers, and onions. The sauce was strong in flavor and consistency, but not too salty, complementing the noodles and rice well. The noodles had a crispy yet chewy texture, as rumored. The rice was slightly firm, which paired nicely with the sauce. The gyoza was also delicious, with a juicy and flavorful filling. Overall, the yakisoba was impressive as rumored, and I look forward to trying more dishes from their menu in the future.

After enjoying Sanuki udon, I, who loves yakisoba, was glancing at a show my wife likes, called "Let's Drink in Chinatown," where they introduced a delicious-looking yakisoba. So, I decided to come to Koryu-san, about a 5-minute walk from Takenotsuka Station. We ordered the sauce yakisoba and tantan yakisoba, along with a side of stir-fried pork and leeks, which we shared. The yakisoba was as delicious as it was on the show. The tantan yakisoba was served first, followed by the sauce yakisoba, which was a good order. I especially liked the sauce yakisoba, which had a perfect balance of medium-thick sauce mixed with Worcester sauce, finely chopped cabbage, bean sprouts, and noodles. It was seriously delicious! The stir-fried pork and leeks were also good. My beautiful wife and I shared everything and enjoyed it all. I would love to revisit this Chinatown restaurant and try more dishes at night!

[May 2021 Training] Today, I had a late lunch or early dinner at "Koryu" in Takenotsuka... It's a bit of a walk, about 7-8 minutes from Tobu Isesaki Line - Takenotsuka Station, but it's quite enjoyable passing through the shopping street. I arrived around 4:30 pm and thought it might be a break for lunch, but they let me in. Perhaps it was a gesture of goodwill, so be careful. I ordered the "ginger pork" for ¥650 with a "half rice" for ¥100, which came with Chinese soup, making it very reasonable. I really wanted to have dumplings, but I had a blood test scheduled, so I resisted. I also ordered "half dumplings (3 pieces)" for ¥280 and later regretted it. The ginger pork was ready in about 4 minutes with efficient cooking sounds. First, let's talk about the visual presentation... The shredded cabbage in the background, along with the stir-fried pork and onions, was visually stunning. It's a perfect combination~ If it came with mayonnaise, it would be perfect for me (laughs). The sweet and savory sauce with garlic and ginger base pairs perfectly with it. Next time, I definitely want to try the popular dumplings.

I went to Hikari Ryu. Good ventilation. Temperature check required. [Lunch] B set (ramen, half egg chili sauce bowl) 850 yen. By the way, A set is ramen and half fried rice. The ramen is traditional but the broth and sauce are flavorful, and the hot soup is delicious. The noodles are chewy. The half egg chili sauce bowl is like a fluffy egg chili sauce Tianjin rice. It was a delicious meal.

Today's menu: - ASD Chubin: 550 yen - Remosa: 390 yen - Half Gyoza: 280 yen - Leek Tamago: 650 yen - Koryu Yakisoba: 780 yen Total: 2650 yen I have been to this place four times in the past, and the quality of the food varies greatly depending on the dish. The well-cooked yakisoba is delicious, but the Gomoku Umadare lacks ingredients and is disappointing. Therefore, I decided to order the signature dish, Koryu Yakisoba. Smoking is allowed, go smoke outside! I'm the only non-smoker here, everyone else is a smoker. Non-smoking restaurants in Tokyo are becoming rare, but I have no intention of protecting them! I want to drive them to extinction. The Leek Tamago doesn't look great, but it's surprisingly jiggly and delicious. The gyoza is big and juicy, but the skin is too thick and the flavor of the filling is rough. The Koryu Yakisoba contains ground pork, bell peppers, shiitake mushrooms, and lacks a special touch in terms of ingredients. The cooking skills are good as always, but the noodles lack flavor and give off a cheap vibe. I still prefer eating Chinese food in Jimbocho!

The ramen at this Chinese restaurant in town is really good. They have a unique blend of fish-based and pork bone double soup that sets them apart from traditional ramen shops. The noodles here are also delicious. Many people come here to drink, so it's common to finish with just the noodles. For lunch, they offer a set with soy sauce or salt ramen, along with half fried rice or a daily special like mapo tofu rice or Tianjin rice for 850 yen. My favorite is the tanmen noodles. It may not have a huge amount of vegetables, but the balance with the noodles is perfect. This place excels in stir-frying, which makes their tanmen a standout dish.

I started visiting this restaurant almost every week with the goal of trying as many items on the menu as possible. So far, I have tried the chashu, meat and vegetable stir-fry, gyoza, fried rice, light dragon rice, wontons, tonkatsu, ginger pork, fried chicken, liver and leek stir-fry, flavored egg, seasoned bamboo shoots, pork and garlic sprout stir-fry, and eggplant and ginger stir-fry. Since I often drink beer, I tend to avoid noodle dishes because they make me too full. My top three favorites are gyoza, tonkatsu, and liver and leek stir-fry. The gyoza is a classic favorite, the tonkatsu has delicious pork despite the coating not being as good as at a specialty shop, and the liver and leek stir-fry is flavorful and well-balanced. The only downside is that the restaurant is a bit of a walk from the station.

2019.12.21 (Sat) Cloudy, First Visit, 11:03 Entry, First Customer, No other customers, 11:11 Served Tanmen: 700 yen Searched for "Tanmen" locally and wanted to visit a bookstore, so I visited this store. I entered and sat at the counter seat. I looked at the menu and verbally ordered the "Tanmen" I wanted. There are many noodle dishes and other dishes available, it seems like a good place for drinking. The store is run by a middle-aged man and woman, possibly a couple. On the table, there are soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, S&B shichimi togarashi, and GABAN black pepper available. There is an ashtray, so smoking is allowed. It seems like the store appeared on the BS-TBS program "Let's Drink in Chinatown." There was a signed color paper of Tamabukuro Kintaro on the wall inside the store. I watched the cooking process while waiting at the counter seat. They stir-fried the ingredients in a wok and poured in the soup. They let it simmer for a bit. They served the boiled noodles in a bowl, poured in the soup and ingredients, and it was ready!! It was served in about 8 minutes. The noodles were yellowish curly thin noodles. The texture was just right, with a good firmness when chewed. The ingredients included pork, cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, leeks, and wood ear mushrooms. The pork was from the shoulder loin, with a moderate amount of fat. It was cooked well and had a chewy texture. The cabbage was thinly sliced, and the carrots and onions were sliced. The vegetables were cooked thoroughly but still had a crisp texture. The wood ear mushrooms had a chewy texture. The soup was a salt-based soup with a cloudy appearance. It was steaming hot. The broth was made from chicken bones and vegetables, with added seasonings. It had a clear taste with a hint of richness from the stir-fried oil. It had the classic flavor of salt-based Tanmen and was delicious. Overall, the store has only been open since November 3 and is celebrating its 2nd anniversary, so it is relatively new. It is a place where you can experience the atmosphere of a local Chinese restaurant. The Tanmen was ordinary, but the owner's work was meticulous. The service was good, and the atmosphere was comfortable. I am curious about the "Garlic Mazesoba" menu. Thank you for the meal!!

First of all, I love Chinese restaurants in town! I saw it on Tamachan's show and it's nearby, so I decided to visit. I ordered the appetizer, char siu, grilled gyoza, and stir-fried meat and vegetables. Based on my standards for town Chinese restaurants, all three dishes passed the test. The char siu was delicious, with the meat itself being tasty. However, for those who prefer strong flavors, they may want a sweeter soy sauce-based sauce. The gyoza had thick skin but the filling was fine. I prefer a coarser filling, but this was also quite tasty. I will definitely order this when I come here. I ordered the full size, but they also accept orders for three pieces as a half order, which is considerate. The stir-fried meat and vegetables included bean sprouts, cabbage, wood ear mushrooms, and pork, and it was also delicious. It had a nice crunch, the pork wasn't too tough, and the bean sprouts weren't too soft. It's hard to differentiate similar dishes, but when they taste good, it shows that the chefs are doing a good job. This time, I focused on drinking so I didn't try it, but next time, I definitely want to try the tonkatsu made with "Miyazaki direct delivery pork." Show me what the town Chinese restaurant's tonkatsu is like!

I am currently hooked on mapo noodles, so I decided to check out this place that caught my eye. There is an ashtray on the table, making it one of the few places where you can smoke. The mapo noodles are average. There is nothing particularly outstanding about them... well, they are just average...

I had a pork stamina bowl. The thick-cut pork with a flavorful sauce of mirin, ginger, and soy sauce really stimulates the appetite. The seasoning is on the stronger side, but adding a raw egg brings out richness and smoothness, making it even more delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I want to visit this town Chinese restaurant again. The prices are reasonable, so it's perfect for enjoying with a small group. Once you go, you'll want to come back again to try all the menu items. I recommend starting with the ramen - the chashu is incredibly delicious. The gyoza and mapo tofu are also carefully made and you can eat as much as you want. The lunch menu items, other than ramen, are also made with care and all enjoyable.

A new restaurant recently opened near my house. We received a coupon when we passed by before, so we decided to go eat as a family! I had beer, gyoza, miso eggplant, and stir-fried rice bowl. My wife had five-ingredient yakisoba, and the kids had ramen and fried rice. The miso eggplant was a perfect appetizer with beer. The flavor was a bit strong, making the beer go down smoothly. The gyoza was incredibly delicious! We all devoured a serving each, including the gyoza coupon. I would come back just for the gyoza rice. The kids' soy sauce ramen was okay, nothing special. As someone who prefers rich flavors, it was a bit too light for me, but it's probably just personal preference. The Kouryu ramen was topped with garlic-flavored minced meat sauce. I might try that next time. We ended the meal with the stir-fried rice bowl. It was a revelation. The taste was on par with specialty restaurants. It was a bit spicy for the kids, so offering a non-spicy version would be great. Overall, we were very satisfied. I wonder if the owners are a couple, as they occasionally exchanged smiles while talking. I'm happy that this restaurant opened near our house! We will definitely come back. The only downside is that the restaurant is a bit small, but we will still return. Thank you for the meal!
