It's a great location near the station and inside a commercial facility. This chain has multiple locations nationwide. Come to think of it, I visited Sarutahiko Coffee Ise Kunitaki in Vision in Mie Prefecture before. It's nostalgic. Upon researching, I found out that the main store is in Ebisu, Tokyo. On this day, I managed to resist sweet treats and opted for just a drink. I chose the New Sarutahiko Cafe Latte. It's labeled as (Rich) on the menu, and indeed, it's rich and has a deep flavor. You can taste the bitterness of espresso, along with a gentle sweetness and acidity reminiscent of blueberries, complemented by mild milk. The design of the paper cup is cute and appealing. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, making it a great place to spend time. I would like to visit the main store next time. Thank you for the meal.

I went all the way to Ebisu to have coffee. I couldn't find the main store, so I ended up at Atre. The staff were cheerful and provided very polite service. The seating inside the shop is not very spacious, so it's lucky if you can find a seat. On this day, the first seating in the morning was full. When I ordered Ethiopian coffee, I was given an explanation that it came from a farm that won the COE, which increased my enjoyment. The Tamir Tadesse Anaerobic was incredibly delicious. It had such a shocking flavor that I thought it was like wine. I wanted to buy some for myself, but unfortunately, it seemed that the beans for sale were sold out on that day. I will definitely go back for another coffee experience.

Sarutahiko Coffee located on the first floor of Atre in Ebisu. They open earlier in the morning than their main store on the street. (I don't think they offer morning sets here) It's a small place but they have seating for eating in, so I had my morning coffee here (*´ω`*) I ordered a drip coffee for 500 yen and since I asked for decaf, I waited about 3-4 minutes for my order. The staff who served me was very friendly and kind, and they explained various things about the menu and the beans ☺︎ I'm not very knowledgeable about coffee, but the coffee here was light and refreshing, not too bitter or strong, very easy to drink ♡ It has a bit of acidity, but even though I'm not a fan of acidic coffee, I found myself enjoying it for some reason ◎ Considering the taste, I think it's a very reasonable price for 500 yen. There aren't many seats, but the atmosphere inside is quite relaxing, with many solo customers, some even working on their laptops. There are outlets under the sofa seats too. I saw someone eating a sandwich and it looked delicious, so next time I want to try their food as well.

I roasted it deeply, but it turned out to be a bit shallow with a strong acidity than I expected. The blend was mainly Kenyan, a bit lighter than my preference, but still delicious. The dorayaki was also tasty.♡

Shake Shack is located on the first floor of Atre, on the side where it is in. The interior of the store is not very spacious, but it is open and welcoming. There are not many seats, so if it's not crowded, you can go in. It doesn't seem like a place for long stays, so it's recommended for a quick break when you want to relax.

Ebisu Atre's first floor has Sarutahiko Coffee. There are more seats than the main store, so it's nice that you can easily find a seat. Moreover, it stays open about 30 minutes longer than Atre's closing time, so you can stay until 10:30 pm. I ordered a hot cafe latte and couldn't resist getting a dessert as well. I chose the Lemon Cream Gelato. It's a dessert made with domestically grown lemons that you can eat the peel of, with layers of mint-flavored lemon jelly, cheese mousse, and lemon jelly. It's a refreshing and delicious treat. The coffee I chose had a rich flavor from dark roasting. Sarutahiko Coffee is always delicious.

Sarutahiko French Coffee Beans [Dark Roast] at 1030 yen. Compared to the non-neo Sarutahiko French, these beans are said to have a milder bitterness and a noticeable sweetness. The beans from Sarutahiko Coffee are carefully picked and are one of my favorite coffee beans.

Whenever I go, this shop provides polite and heartwarming customer service. Both the cashier and the drink maker are welcoming. They are both men. When leaving the shop, they always say goodbye with a smile and "Thank you for coming." The chairs in the shop are hard, so it's not ideal for long stays, but it's a good place to take a break. On December 11, 2022 (Sunday), at the 3037th location in Tokyo, I visited a Japanese restaurant called "Mitsuba" located on the 3rd floor of a mixed-use building nearby. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious sushi and dishes, and enjoyed a roasted green tea with a hint of ginjo sake. After that, I took the Shonan-Shinjuku Line from Ebisu Station and headed back to my home in Kenohoku City, which is about an hour away. But before that, I decided to take a short break. I found a café called Sarutahiko Coffee at Atre Ebisu, right in front of the building. I ordered an affogato for myself and a hojicha latte for my companion. The affogato, which is a dish of vanilla ice cream with espresso poured over it, was a delightful combination of sweetness and bitterness. Despite the unexpected light rain outside, I decided to savor the lingering taste of the ginjo tea and bid farewell to Ebisu.

Today's first meal in Tokyo was at the café "Sarutaike Coffee Atre Ebisu," where they are facing a crisis in the monkey paradise! It has been four years since my last visit. After my weekend training, I went to my favorite Le Grenier à Pain Atre Ebisu store for breakfast, and then to the Sarutahiko Coffee Atre Ebisu West Side Store on the 1st floor of the same Atre Ebisu store west building. It had been a while since I last visited here. They had the Atre Ebisu store limited edition Kasama Mont Blanc Coffee Gelato, in addition to their usual sandwiches and cakes. I had seen limited edition food and desserts at their Senkawa Atelier and Chofu Roasting Hall, so I was hoping they would do something similar at the Ebisu store where the main store is located. I was happy to see this special offering in conjunction with the "Ibaraki Autumn Taste Fair" currently being held at Atre Ebisu. I ordered the drip coffee and the "Kasama Mont Blanc Coffee Gelato" from Sarutahiko Coffee, which was my first time trying their gelato. It had coffee cream, coffee jelly, cream, and plenty of Kasama Japanese chestnut Mont Blanc. It also had a hint of yuzu for a nice touch. The combination of gentle chestnut cream and coffee was delicious. The mix of different flavors like coffee jelly and cream was delightful. The yuzu accent added a nice Japanese touch. The atmosphere may not be the most calming, but it's convenient for solo visits or meeting up with someone. The staff here were also kind and made me feel at ease. The Atre Ebisu Nishi building has many restaurants, and I often visit them. I went to "Sarutahiko Coffee" this time. I didn't know that there is a main store of Sarutahiko Coffee right behind the station in Ebisu. This branch is quite spacious and has an open atmosphere. I ordered a grilled vegetable and tomato sauce with mozzarella cheese hot sandwich for 680 yen, and Sarutahiko's cafe au lait for 580 yen. The sandwich, equivalent to two slices of bread, was quite filling, with the cheese being gooey and delicious. The cafe au lait had a slightly bitter and deep coffee flavor, with the milk adding richness to it. I have completely switched to sugar-free, so I can't drink sweet coffee anymore. I would like to visit the main store someday.

I prefer dark roasted coffee, and this French coffee was not too bitter, with a pleasant aroma and a rich flavor. It cost 500 yen for a tall size, but it was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I will definitely visit their main store in Ebisu next time!

It's a stay-at-home day. A refreshing morning between the rainy season. I made some strong roasted coffee beans from Sarutahiko Coffee into an iced coffee. It feels quite stylish, doesn't it, with a name like Sarutahiko. Like the guide who led Ninigi-no-Mikoto to Takachiho, will they take my hand and lead me to the coffee heaven, I wonder. Ahh, nothing beats coffee in the morning. And that was a delicious meal.

Dope Purple for 700 yen seems to be an original blend by Sarutahiko, consisting of lightly roasted Ethiopian, Costa Rican, and Guatemalan beans. It was very light and more like tea than coffee. Due to the high number of Starbucks stores, it was difficult to accumulate Sarutahiko points, but I finally managed to do so this time! The staff at any store are always friendly.
