For years, I have admired an artist who likes to drink at soba noodle restaurants. Finally, I visited a recommended restaurant with a longtime friend. The most impressive thing about this place is the "choose your soba" option! We selected the "Duck Chirashi Soba" from a variety of soba options. The waiter asked us to choose between "Marunuki" soba, where the buckwheat hulls are removed without breaking the grains, and "Arabiki" soba, which is coarsely ground to bring out the aroma and flavor. We couldn't decide, so we each ordered one to compare. We were amazed by the taste and quality! The soba noodles were served in two thickness options, and both were delicious. The dipping sauce, made from carefully simmered duck meat and high-quality duck fat, complemented the soba perfectly. We also received a recommendation for "sake that goes well with soba" from the staff, which enhanced our dining experience. The duck, egg, white liver, and nagaimo were all delicious. This restaurant has become one of my favorites.

The late-night soba izakaya is highly in demand for me. The appetizers are delicious no matter which one you choose. The saltiness is a bit strong, but it goes well late at night. I drink and eat a lot with alcohol, and the staff are also friendly. There are 6 types of soba to choose from for the finale. The portions are generous. There are no words other than the best. I will go again this week, haha.

I had Tenseiro for lunch. The tempura was delicious! The shrimp, kisu fish, pumpkin, bell pepper, zucchini, and corn were all slightly salty. You can choose between 100% buckwheat soba and regular soba. I chose the 100% buckwheat soba and it was delicious, but next time I would like to try the regular soba. I don't know about the cost performance, but the atmosphere is good, so I would like to visit again.

I visited for lunch. The lunch here, which is not typical of Azabu-Juban, is reasonably priced and very delicious. You can also choose noodles with buckwheat husks. It was fragrant and delicious (limited quantity). I had the mori soba, but the oyakodon looked delicious, so I plan to try it next time I visit.

A relatively new restaurant? It's located across from Hakata Hotaru and next to Sadata Juro. There are not many places in the 10th district that serve food late into the night, so it's quite convenient to have a soba restaurant open until morning. The main seating is in sunken kotatsu tables. I visited as a second stop. I tried the recommended duck chirashi soba. The duck broth was rich and delicious, but the flavor was quite strong... perhaps they are catering to customers who are planning to drink afterwards? Or maybe it's because it's summer? The tempura, whether it was the shrimp tempura batter or the shrimp itself, tasted salty. The sake is served in wine glasses and is delicious. Highballs, lemon sours, and other drinks are reasonably priced. If they can improve the taste a bit, I would definitely want to visit more often.

I recently got hooked on 100% soba and finally got to try it. I tried both whole buckwheat and round buckwheat, and personally, I prefer the whole buckwheat. It was smooth for being 100% soba. This time, I had two types of sauces, sesame sauce and dashi. The sesame sauce was rich and delicious as it coated the soba nicely. The dashi was simple but tasty.

Adult and gourmet neighborhood...Azabu-Juban. I found a restaurant here that can be used for daily meals and also for dates. "Azabu-Juban Soba Izakaya Sobagoya" is a modern Japanese soba restaurant, right? Hmm, the sense of style is good... For the order, I listened to the recommended dishes from the restaurant and chose a la carte. - Duck Tataki: Thick slices of duck with rich flavor, umami, and firm texture. The restaurant seems to put a lot of effort into their duck, using Saitama duck from the Cherry Valley breed. Simple seasoning with salt, soy sauce, and wasabi is also good. - Shabu-shabu Salad: A refreshing shabu-shabu salad using Chiba prefecture's brand pork, Lin SPF. The crispy texture of soba grains is irresistible, paired with a slightly acidic dressing. - Rolled Omelette: A unique dish with an egg yolk on top of the egg! The eggs used here are from the "Ranou" farm in Oita prefecture, where chickens are raised with mineral-rich natural materials. Asagoya and its affiliated store Sobagoya! [Tabelog 3.30] As of August 2, 2023, one of the recently growing stores near Azabu-Juban! I visited Asagoya and its affiliated soba izakaya Sobagoya. I understood that I should eat soba from the name, but I couldn't resist the temptation of the Oyakodon with Oyama chicken, which looked so delicious... The fluffy egg, the firm chicken, and the rich egg yolk had the best compatibility, and it was one of the best Oyakodon I've had recently! The Katsudon that my wife was eating was also delicious, so I want to eat it again!! The mushroom-topped soba noodles at Shime were incredibly delicious, you wouldn't believe they were made by a machine. You can choose the thickness of the soba noodles, but I recommend the thin ones over the thick ones! The menu offers a variety of options besides soba noodles. I keep coming back to this place over and over again.

I went to a soba restaurant in Azabu-Juban and had a great time drinking. I love drinking with soba. Despite being in the heart of Azabu-Juban, the street was quiet. Inside, there was a raised sunken hearth seating area where you could relax comfortably. We started with a glass of sparkling wine for a toast while it was still bright and warm. The sparkling wine was exceptional. We also had some snacks. The staff at the restaurant kindly recommended some dishes. We tried the domestic duck sashimi, salted with wasabi and soy sauce for comparison. It was made with Cherry Valley duck from the authentic Saitama duck farm. It was so delicious when the fat melted in your mouth. We also had homemade potato salad with soba seeds, which was incredibly crispy. It was the best potato salad I've ever had and went perfectly with the alcohol. The dashimaki tamago was made with Ranoh eggs, and the visual presentation was stunning. The yolk of the Ranoh egg on top was a sight to behold. Finally, the dish I was looking forward to the most, the soba duck chirashi seiro. I love Juwari soba, made with soba flour from Kumamoto Prefecture and soba flour from Enmusubi. The soba seeds were used with the shells intact. You could choose from thin, regular, or thick noodles, and I chose the thick noodles. The texture was great, and you could really feel the soba seeds. I paired it with soba shochu Juwari (To-wari) mixed with soba hot water. I usually drink Unkai, but this time I tried a different soba shochu, made with soba koji. It was truly a unique shochu. For the tempura assortment, the shrimp was elegantly arranged. I recommend having the tempura with soba, along with the egg omelet. It's a great accompaniment to soba and makes for a wonderful evening for soba lovers.

I visited this restaurant because I wanted to eat delicious soba noodles. I had never been really impressed by a soba restaurant before, but finally I found one that was delicious. Here is what I ordered: - Duck soba noodles - Assorted tempura - Domestic duck breast teppanyaki - Rolled omelette - Lin SPF pork cutlet stew - Homemade potato salad - Homemade soba tea pudding - Lanko ice cream sandwich First, I toasted with sparkling wine. The domestic duck breast teppanyaki was made using the Cherry Valley breed, and it was tender and flavorful. The rolled omelette had Lanko egg yolk on top, and it was sweet and delicious. I also tried the "Internal Beauty Tea" drink, which felt like it could reset all the calories I consumed. The Lin SPF pork cutlet stew was amazing, with a shining Lanko egg yolk on top. The meat was tender and delicious. The homemade potato salad had soba seeds in it, giving it a fun texture. I also ordered duck soba noodles and assorted tempura together. The soba noodles were made using Kumamoto-produced "Enmusubi" buckwheat flour, and I chose the whole ground (genbiki) option. The noodles had a wild and authentic taste, with a unique texture. The duck dipping sauce had duck meat in it, adding a rich flavor. The tempura was crispy and hot, making the soba noodles even more luxurious. For dessert, I had a homemade soba tea pudding and a Lanko ice cream sandwich, both with a Japanese twist. The oyakodon was made with special eggs from Oita called Ranou, giving it a unique texture similar to scrambled eggs. I chose cold soba, which was served flat in a cold broth with steamed chicken. I look forward to trying the soba set with dipping sauce next time.

There were no late-night shops nearby, so I went to Azabu-Juban for a visit. Even though I went late, the restaurant was almost full. It's rare to find a place that stays open until morning, so I was grateful. Every dish was delicious. The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was also tasty, although it's not in the photos. For the soba noodles, you can choose your own dipping sauce. I like grated yam, so I chose that. I think there were other options like walnut as well. This is a great place for a date or a girls' night out.

It's been a while since I visited Azabu-Juban. The turnover of shops here is quite fast, so I decided to arrive a bit early and wander around the streets. I couldn't find a place to sit and relax for a while, so I headed to the restaurant earlier than planned. I usually come to Azabu-Juban for a run, taking the hilly route from Roppongi or Minami-Azabu through Azabu-Juban to Nishi-Azabu. I'm familiar with the dark slopes like An'yoku-zaka, Nanamen-zaka, and Daikoku-zaka. This restaurant is located along Nanamen-zaka. It was a very hot day, so I ordered a beer quickly to quench my thirst with Akaboshi. It was delicious. Looking through the menu, everything looked so good that my mouth was watering. I love a soba restaurant that serves great appetizers. However, I often leave without eating soba in the end, and today was no exception. I started with beer, then moved on to shochu, sake, white wine, and enjoyed various dishes. I had checked the Inaka soba, but maybe next time. I had dishes like grilled chicken with Oyama chicken, grilled chicken liver, spicy green onion and chili oil, cold tofu, rolled omelette, simmered eggplant, wasabi kelp, homemade thick fried tofu, and natto. Our discussions with friends about mischievous plans have been getting more interesting. It's becoming fun.

We made a reservation for two on a regular night and visited for the first time. Located in a quiet area close to Azabu-Juban Station, "Sobagoya" is a restaurant supervised by "Ginza Maruichi," known for its turtle and shark fin dishes, which opened explosively in December 2022. It operates from lunch at 11:30 through to 5 am the next morning, making it a delightful restaurant in this area that can be enjoyed as a main meal or as a late-night option. The interior is a modern Japanese space with sunken kotatsu seating, a counter, and table seats. On this day, we ordered various dishes a la carte for dinner. - Domestic Duck Tataki: The super moist and juicy duck immediately reveals its freshness. The richness of the fat is outstanding, showing its high quality. You can enjoy comparing it with salt, soy sauce, and sansho pepper. I preferred the salt. - Grilled Duck Breast and Pork Cutlet Stew: The grilled duck breast, which takes 6 days to prepare, can be enjoyed as is, with salt, or with curry powder. The stew with soft and juicy pork cutlet and creamy eggs is excellent. The dashi flavor is just right, and it would also be delicious as a katsudon. - Duck Chirashi Soba: There are many types of soba available, such as the famous duck chirashi soba, tanuki soba, curry nanban, and even truffle soba. You can enjoy soba according to your mood of the day. The generous soba costs only 800 yen! The soba currently uses "Enmusubi" buckwheat flour from Kumamoto Prefecture. When ordering, you can choose between "genbiki" and "marunuki". You can also choose between thick, medium, and thin noodles. On this day, since there were two of us, we ordered both "genbiki" and "marunuki" with medium thickness. You can enjoy different textures and flavors, and the quality and quantity at this price are too good to be true. The dipping sauce is rich in duck umami and fat. It was also delicious with sobayu. It's delicious to dip the soba in salt as well, allowing you to enjoy the flavor. - Ranou Ice Cream Sandwich: A sweet and extremely rich ice cream sandwich made with "Ranou" eggs from Oita Prefecture! Even the dessert is meticulously crafted. We were quite full after visiting as a pair. The quality and price at this location are quite a bargain. Popular soba izakaya "Sobagoya" in Azabu-Juban. Open for lunch and until morning, which is great! Visited with a friend who loves soba. The restaurant has counter seats, tables, and sunken kotatsu-style seating, suitable for families, parties, and solo diners. Started with izakaya menu: the duck dishes were delicious! - Domestic duck Tataki ¥1580: Light and no odor, great as a side dish. - Ooyama chicken oyakodon ¥1180: Beautiful egg yolk, the chicken and egg were amazing. - Ooyama chicken teppanyaki ¥980: Add yuzu pepper if you like. The thick and juicy chicken with tender leeks was delicious! - Seasonal seafood tempura platter ¥1580 (shrimp, conger eel, squid, shiso, eggplant): Each item was served for two people. The tempura at a soba restaurant is crispy and tasty! For the finale, the restaurant's popular dish: - Superb duck chirashi soba ¥1680: Chose the buckwheat noodles and thin noodles, and the warm authentic duck dipping sauce was irresistible. One of the best duck soba dishes I've had! The quality of the soba and dipping sauce was outstanding for the price. For dessert: - Ranou ice cream sandwich ¥580: Rich egg ice cream in a crispy sandwich, highly recommended.
