Fucho City, Tokyo, Bambamachi. A well-known ramen shop located along the Shin-Fucho Street. It is quite an old-timer in the ramen world. The nearest stations are Nishi-Fu Station on the Nanbu Line or Bunbaimawari Station on the Keio Line. Although the Google Map reviews are not great, I personally think it's delicious. Ramen enthusiasts cannot miss this place. From the intersection in front of the Honjuku Police Box where the Koshu Kaido and Shin-Fucho Street (Fucho Street) intersect, head south. Along the way, you will find Nishi-Fu Station to the west. Look for the red facade that says "Delicious! Ramen Shop Delicious!" as a landmark. It has been 4 and a half years since my last visit. The parking lot is not available, so you can use a nearby coin parking lot. The shop front is covered with blue sheets and about six poly buckets (probably for preparation). I visited for brunch on a weekday at 9:30 am. There was one customer already there, and no one else came in later. The owner looks like the character from Momoya Edo Murasaki "It's mealtime!". He appears to be in his late 70s to 80s, but he is energetic and speaks clearly. Make sure to speak clearly when placing your order. The seating consists of an L-shaped counter with 12 seats. The tables are a bit worn out. After placing your order verbally, you pay. Today's order: Negi Shichimi Vinegar Ramen 870 yen, Negi Rice Small 260 yen, Early evening discount until 5 pm -50 yen. The default ramen has different prices depending on the time, making it a good deal. The Negi Shichimi Vinegar Ramen was 50 yen cheaper than the displayed price. Total 1080 yen. The owner serves the ramen slowly. The ramen includes white negi, chopped onions, wakame, and seaweed. The white negi with small pork slices can be mixed in upon request. The flavor is enhanced by a sesame oil and soy sauce-based seasoning. The noodles are custom-made medium-thin straight noodles. They are cooked quite soft, so if you prefer firmer noodles, make sure to specify when ordering. The soup is a light type made from pork bones and chicken bones. It is intentionally light to complement the saltiness of the toppings like negi and pork slices. This aspect may not be understood by some reviewers. I also changed my evaluation significantly. This time, I ordered the "Shichimi Vinegar" version, which is spicy with a sour taste. I added some "raajan" from the table to increase the spiciness later on. The Negi Rice, with chopped pork slices, is mixed by the owner upon ordering. It includes boiled spinach with vinegar, which pairs well with the leftover ramen soup. The combination is delicious. This ramen shop has evolved over the years and offers a unique experience. While the default ramen may not suit those who prefer strong flavors, it is well-received by older customers. At the Fucho Bambamachi shop, "Adding negi is a must!" Remember this tip, as it will not disappoint.

Hello everyone at Tabelog, good job today. I went from work in Inagi to Fuchu Bunbai-cho today, and on my way back, I passed by a restaurant that was empty. Without hesitation, I decided to try their lunch for the first time. The inside of the noodle shop was retro, old, and looked like it could fall apart at any moment. There were two men, an older gentleman and a younger man, in the shop. They both ordered ramen. The older gentleman seemed to be struggling with the noodles, as he had a sweat on his forehead. The soup had a light soy sauce flavor, and the noodles were soft. The chashu was tender and a bit salty, and the spinach was cooked just right. Thank you for the meal.

It might be rude to say it's on the outskirts of Fuchu City, but this is an old-fashioned ramen shop located along a main road. It used to be very popular at one point, but now you only see it occasionally. They mainly serve animal-based ramen with a decent amount of fat, and their signature topping is white leeks. They open early in the morning, so be sure to check their hours before visiting.

Chain-like but not quite, "Ramen Shop." Commonly known as "La-shi." The favorite menu item among all branches is the "Negi Ramen." Despite being a franchise chain, it seems that each shop is allowed to showcase its uniqueness. Each store has a slightly different taste, which tickles the fans' curiosity. This particular store also offers its unique menu. The "Fuchu Bunbai-cho Branch of Ramen Shop" offers the "Shichimi Vinegar Ramen" for 880 yen. This place opens at 6 am and serves breakfast ramen as well. The unique menu item here is the "Shichimi Vinegar Ramen," which is the first time I've seen ramen with vinegar and shichimi already in it. Ordering something other than the reliable Negi Ramen at a ramen shop can be a mix of excitement and anxiety. I also ordered the "Negi Rice (small)" for 280 yen. The store has a vintage feel with only an L-shaped counter. The kitchen is run by the elderly owner alone. After placing my order, I filled a self-service water and watched the kitchen for a while as I waited for my order. The hardworking owner never stops moving. It's amazing. After a 5-minute wait, the first dish to arrive was the "Shichimi Vinegar Ramen." It looks like a regular Negi Ramen. I took a sip of the vinegar-infused soup, and it had a pleasant acidity without being too sharp. The vinegar added a delicious flavor to the soup, dispelling my initial doubts. I couldn't really taste the spiciness of the shichimi. It's truly a specialty menu. It tastes great. The Negi Chashu on top of the noodles is seasoned quite strongly with a sticky sauce. This flavor is a bit different from the others. However, the seasoning is a bit too strong. I wondered if it would be balanced out by the soup, but it didn't seem that way. The roughly chopped onions added a nice refreshing touch. For a change in flavor, I added the La-shi specialties "Doubanjiang" and "Grated Garlic." The rich spiciness of the Doubanjiang and the umami of the garlic intensified the soup's richness. But these two toppings are like a symbol of coming to La-shi, adding a sense of comfort. The softness of the noodles wasn't very noticeable in this case. The Negi Rice also had the same Negi on top, so the seasoning was also strong. I tried to eat the spinach, rice, and rice together to balance out the strong flavor, but there was little room for escape, so the intensity of the flavor bothered me a bit. Despite the slightly strong flavor, the soup with the added vinegar had a delicious taste. I feel energized by the power of vinegar! I enjoyed the new taste of Ramen Shop!

Today, I went to the Fuchu Bunbai branch. I ordered the negi miso ramen! I also got a small rice and soup... It's more like a negi-heavy soup. When it's too strong, you can ask for soup to dilute it, but I found that it goes really well when you drink this diluted soup while eating the self-negi rice bowl. It was delicious!

Visited this ramen shop, "Negi Ramen Katameramen Shop Inagi Branch," which is the 5th ramen shop in Tokyo. The exterior looks old and the interior feels historic, with almost full seating around 11:45. The elderly owner, who appeared to be around 70, was handling things alone at first, making the service a bit slow, but it improved when another person joined in. The noodles were the reliable La-sho noodles, thin and straight, cooked firm as requested, with a nice texture. The soup started off mild but became much tastier as the flavor of the leeks infused into it. The garlic complemented it well. The chashu was generously seasoned and cut into large slices, with a good amount of fatty parts that were flavorful and tender. The leeks were heavily seasoned, possibly with extra pepper, giving it a strong kick. There was a substantial amount of seaweed in the bowl. It was my first time seeing sesame salt and sesame on the table in a ramen shop.

I visited while feeling nervous after checking reviews on Google. I ordered the negi ramen. Well, to cut to the chase, it was delicious enough! The noodles were cooked perfectly, the soup had a great taste and temperature, no issues at all, and I enjoyed it. I will definitely come back! (^^)

It's Thursday evening on December 8, 2022. Today was a slightly warm day. Hi, it's Kamen. After work, I decided to have dinner nearby and visited the second highest-rated restaurant on Tabelog that I had not been to before. I was the only customer. I ordered the Negi Chashu Ramen. The water is self-serve. The ramen was served after a reasonable wait time. By the way, they were short-staffed at this time. As for the taste, it was rich but not bad. The chashu was thinly sliced. It wasn't too hot, so even I, who is sensitive to hot food, could eat it right away. Thank you for the meal!

This is a ramen restaurant located about a 10-minute walk from Nishifu Station. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen, which is priced at 740 yen. However, the price varies depending on the time of day, and during the hours from 8 am to 5 pm, it was 690 yen. The noodles here are different from regular ramen noodles, as they are firm and chewy. It's unclear whether it's due to the way they are cooked or if the noodles themselves are different, but they are quite delicious. The soup is slightly light, which allows the flavors of garlic and doubanjiang to stand out when added for extra seasoning. Overall, it was a really good bowl of ramen.

It's been a while since I revisited a ramen shop. The last time I visited one was probably when I was in elementary school, about 25 years ago. I was born in Chiba, raised in Machida until college, and vaguely remember a ramen shop called Tsurugawa in my hometown. They used to have a special deal on Fridays with ramen for 190 yen, and I went there a few times with my dad. I don't remember the taste at all. Since then, I haven't had ramen from that shop. I heard that the taste can vary at different franchise ramen shops, which adds to the excitement, so I was looking forward to trying it again. Fast forward to three years ago when I moved to Kokubunji. I discovered a ramen shop called "Rasho" along my running route. It's a bit far from my home but reachable by bike or on foot with some effort, so I patiently waited for the day to visit. On the second day of my childcare leave, my wife and daughter had a regular check-up, so it was the perfect opportunity to go for ramen. Off to Rasho we went. The atmosphere was great, and my expectations were high. However, I was really disappointed. I didn't even need to write this caption. It was honestly worse than cafeteria ramen. The noodles were sticky, and there was no distinct flavor. But the most puzzling thing was the absence of a single slice of chashu. Why is there chashu in regular ramen but when you order negi ramen, the chashu is minced? The chashu on top of the negi was tasty, but anyone could make it, it's like cheating. Cut some negi, mix it with sesame oil, soy sauce, MSG, and a little sugar, and anyone can make it taste good. It was quite different from what I expected, and I felt let down. However, the portion of noodles was surprisingly generous! I've been running and doing strength training recently, so I've cut out carbs at night, which makes me unusually hungry, so I finished the whole bowl. After finishing, when I returned the bowl to the counter, the owner said, "Thank you for finishing it neatly!" Damn, this place is hard to hate! If I have the chance, I'd like to have a rematch! Ramen Shop Fuchu Bubaicho, Ramen Shop, Rasho, Negi Ramen, Why isn't there a single slice of chashu, What kind of rule is that, Like when you meet a girl you used to think was cute and she's not cute at all anymore, Memories are beautified because they are beautiful, Ramen, Ramen lover, Let's connect with ramen lovers, Bane Log.

For a moment, I was taken aback! "Negi Chashu Ramen" at Senbya...!? Oh!!!?? I've visited quite a few ramen shops before, and the prices are usually on the higher side (laughs). However, I always stick to Negi Chashu as my choice! So, I can't hesitate over the price! Negi Chashu Ramen! Excuse me, today we're running low on chashu... huh!? What a letdown... There's barely enough chashu for half the portion, and I'm worried about when I'll finish it. I look over the menu on the counter and since they don't have it, I have to switch to "Negi Ramen". As per ramen shop tradition, I put negi, sesame oil, pepper, chashu sauce, and chopped chashu in a bowl, mix it all together, and on goes the ramen. Two sheets of seaweed, and another ramen shop tradition, wakame seaweed, and spinach. Negi Ramen, served in a bowl! I take a sip of the soup, which has a mild saltiness with the richness of soy sauce, the sweetness of pork bone soup, and the oily texture standing out. The straight noodles are slightly thick, and as I slurp them down, they feel slippery and smooth. Here, I've noticed something. When I take the first bite of noodles at either ramen shop, I feel a unique slippery texture. These noodles have that slippery feeling, plus the added oiliness from the pork bone soup, enhancing the smoothness. With the crunchy negi and chopped chashu on top, mixing it all in with the rice, and savoring the richness of the soup and the slippery noodles, each ramen shop has its own original taste and uniqueness, despite being the same "Negi (Chashu) Ramen". I felt the depth of ramen shops in the variety of flavors and prices (plus 400 yen for chashu?) I experienced.

There is a ramen shop that you won't find in the city center. It brings back nostalgic memories, as I used to eat here often in the past. No matter where you eat, the ramen is always delicious! I had the medium-sized negi chashu ramen this time. The soup is tonkotsu shoyu, and the noodles are thin and straight. The negi is well-seasoned, and the chashu is flavorful. I added garlic and doubanjiang from the condiment stand and finished it all in one go. It's still delicious, this ramen. I will definitely come back again!

About a 5-minute walk from Nishifu Station on the Nanbu Line and about a 15-minute walk from Nakagawara Station on the Keio Line. It's located on a main street with a red roof and a sign that says "Ramen Shop", making it easy to find. The opening hours are from 6:00 to 21:00 (closed on Sundays). Inside, there is an L-shaped counter with 7 seats. As you enter, there is a restroom and a sink on the left. You can get water by self-service. There are two staff members, an elderly man and possibly his son, working at the shop. You choose your ramen from the handwritten menu above. The prices for each ramen are the same, but they vary depending on the time of day. For example, the Shoyu Ramen is normally 730 yen, but it's 630 yen before 8:00 in the morning, 680 yen until 17:00 in the evening, and back to 730 yen until 21:00 at night. I tried the Negi Miso Ramen for 1000 yen, but surprisingly I got a mysterious 10 yen discount and paid only 990 yen. It was delicious with plenty of finely chopped leeks, and the soup had a nice kick of spices. However, there was a mysterious soup served with the ramen that I couldn't figure out. It was a bit thin to drink on its own, maybe it was meant to be mixed with the ramen soup. The son's unique way of speaking was also interesting. Despite the menu stating 1000 yen, there was a strange 10 yen discount. It seems like the pricing might be a bit inconsistent, as mentioned in other reviews. Note that photography is not allowed in the restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I visited around 2:00 PM on Saturday and there were hardly any customers, so I was able to enter smoothly. They have a dedicated parking lot, but it is a bit far from the store and hard to find, so it would be helpful to ask the owner. [Payment] Cash only [Order] Black and White Vinegar Ramen 910 yen [Impression] A ramen with a sour taste that I want to eat in the summer. The soup has a stronger acidity than I expected, but it doesn't feel harsh or unpleasant. I imagine it would taste even better if eaten in the hot summer. It is delicious even in winter, but personally, I prefer the classic Negi Ramen.

I passed by this place many times before, but this time I decided to visit. I heard that the "Nanami Vinegar Ramen" is famous here, but I played it safe and ordered the Negi Ramen and a side of rice. The menu had some high prices listed, like over 1200 yen for Negi Chashu, but when I paid, it was only 1000 yen and I got change back. The soup was really unique, with a strong taste of spices or seasonings. It was delicious and unlike any other ramen I've had. They also sell gyoza, so I'll try that next time. There seems to be a parking lot, but the owner didn't seem to know much about it. He has a deep voice and adds to the mysterious charm of the place. I want to go back again, even though it's a bit pricey.

30 years ago, when I was still a student, the company president would often take me to this restaurant where I worked part-time. It has been over 10 years since my last visit, but the atmosphere was just like it used to be. I have been to many ramen shops, but this one holds a special place in my heart because of the memories from my youth. I came here to confirm that. I ordered the Negi Chashu Ramen for 1260 yen. The price is slightly higher compared to other ramen shops. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The appearance was spot on. The taste, after such a long time, was still delicious. I have tried many ramen shops since then, so I can't say this is the best anymore, but it is still a tasty place to eat.

I had the basic soy sauce ramen for 620 yen. I visited on a Saturday morning, shortly after opening at around 6 am. There were two groups of customers ahead of me. I placed my order verbally, opting for the thin straight noodles. The soup had a dark color but was simple, with a mild saltiness that I liked. I enjoyed adding extras like doubanjiang and ground sesame to customize the flavor. The chashu was firm and flavorful, making me want to order chashu noodles next time. The price seemed to vary depending on the time of day, with the usual 750 yen ramen priced at 620 yen, which was a pleasant surprise. The interior of the restaurant was a bit cluttered, but the ramen was top-notch. Overall, it was a high-quality ramen experience that I enjoyed.

Tamason's blog: https://www.ramentabete.com/entry/2021/09/20/000000 Tamason's YouTube: https://youtu.be/IF-A5Hy0hVg In September 2021, I decided to have morning ramen at a ramen shop. I dropped off my family at a certain place in the morning and then headed to the ramen shop for a quick breakfast ramen with extra green onions. I have previously compiled a list of ramen shops in Tokyo that serve morning ramen, which you can check out for reference here: [link provided]. The shop I visited this time has a system where the default shoyu ramen price varies depending on the time of day. It is most crowded just before 8 am, which is the deadline for the price change. Since I missed the deadline, I decided to go with the "negi miso" ramen without the discount this time. The overall presentation of the ramen was appealing, with a rich miso color and vibrant corn kernels and scattered white sesame seeds. The shop was almost empty after the morning peak hours, allowing for a leisurely cooking and serving process. The bowl of noodles I received had a rustic and down-to-earth feel, typical of a traditional ramen shop. The soup had a noticeable saltiness from the miso, and the shop also provided an additional soup for adjusting the flavor if needed. The miso flavor was quite strong, almost making me wonder if it was a blend of soybean and miso flavors. I added a bit of the extra soup to dilute the saltiness, revealing hints of garlic and other flavors in the base. The noodles were on the softer side with a chewy texture, which allowed them to pick up the miso and green onion flavors well. They had a delicate firmness and a pleasant springiness, enhancing the overall experience of the dish. The green onions were finely chopped and had a crunchy texture. They were generously coated in a flavorful sauce that also incorporated the richness of the sliced chashu pork. The extra sauce added a creamy texture to the green onions, making them a perfect match for dishes like green onion rice or green onion fried rice. The shop also offered gyoza, which I believe would complement the ramen well.
