I went for a casual drink at "Izakaya Rakza" located in the Akebonobashi shopping street, just a 3-minute walk from Akebonobashi Station. It was my first visit in a while, but I have been to this place even before exploring Akebonobashi. The price for draft beer is 280 yen for the first two glasses. I started with two beers before switching to highball. As for the food, I was contemplating what to order and ended up trying the recommended dishes - beef tendon stew and assorted deep-fried skewers. The beef tendon stew had a mushy texture that wasn't really my preference, and the deep-fried skewers were just okay. There are other various dishes available as well. The restaurant is located underground, so the mobile phone reception was a bit poor.

I ordered yakitori, kushikatsu, beer, highball, etc.! It felt like a typical izakaya. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I was turned away from the first place I tried, so I searched for another restaurant and ended up on Akabono Hashi Street. I decided to go into a place where a glass of draft beer was only 280 yen. It was a small underground restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, mainly consisting of a counter in the back. It had a Japanese-style izakaya vibe, but the staff were all foreigners, which was a bit strange. They had a variety of Japanese alcoholic drinks available. The menu mainly featured sashimi, grilled fish, tempura, and skewers. There weren't many simmered dishes, but there were some dishes that had a foreign influence. I ordered a medium-sized draft beer, which seemed more like a small glass. The appetizer of simmered taro was delicious. For my main dishes, I chose a sashimi assortment, fried oysters, and steamed clams with sake. The sashimi included tuna, octopus, and bonito tataki, served with ponzu sauce. The bonito had a nice smoky flavor, and the tuna was decent despite having some sinew. The fried oysters had a crispy coating and were juicy inside, with a slight hint of oiliness. The steamed clams were served in a unique deep dish and were quite large, with a tasty ginger-infused broth. Overall, the food was good and I enjoyed my meal.
