I decided to register on Tabelog and thought I should start by posting about a restaurant I always go to, so I went there to eat (lol). I visit this restaurant about once every 1-3 months. It's conveniently located near my house, and what's really helpful for me is that they have a mild option even though they serve authentic curry with delicious naan. As someone who isn't a fan of spicy food, I occasionally crave curry. However, when I want to have curry with naan instead of rice, I often struggle to find a place that offers a mild option. But KC easily solves this dilemma for me. Their buttery mild curry is so good that even I sometimes order it at medium spiciness, but otherwise, I can confidently ask for "mild." Perhaps true curry enthusiasts might consider my preference unconventional. However, I believe there are others like me who aren't into spicy food but still crave curry. Or perhaps, families who can easily order various dishes for their children might find this restaurant family-friendly. In that sense, the curry here doesn't have a distinct flavor profile and seems to be made to cater to a wide audience. I can't say what it's like if you order something really spicy, though. Oh, right. I go to this restaurant not only for the curry but also because they serve naan that I love. However, I feel like the naan's taste has slightly declined recently. It used to be more fragrant and soft, with a rich flavor even when cold, but now it seems a bit bland. Still, as long as I live nearby, this place will remain my favorite. Their lunch offers all-you-can-eat naan (or rice) at a great cost performance. There's also another curry restaurant nearby called "Mughal Kitchen," but I personally prefer KC, so I always choose to come here. I wonder if people's preferences are divided between the two. If you're nearby, please give it a try. It's been quite a while since my last visit, probably around a year. It's funny how when a restaurant is close to home, you tend to think, "I can eat at home, why splurge?" and end up not going (lol). Today, I had the Keema curry lunch for 920 yen. And of course, I chose the mild option. The curry was delicious, with the minced meat not too dry, and the naan today was fluffy and tasty even when cold. So, I believe that a restaurant where you can be quite satisfied with your everyday meal is actually quite valuable, which is why I raised my rating.
