Order: Yakitori, grilled pork tongue, assorted seafood salad 638 yen, crab fried rice 748 yen, otoshi (appetizer) 380 yen, draft beer 328 yen, highball with aroma 218 yen, hoppy set 426 yen, etc.
Evaluation of dishes and drinks: Yakitori, grilled pork tongue: Ordered in units of 2 skewers, priced at 108 yen per skewer which is quite reasonable. The yakitori is quite delicious, cooked well. You can choose between salt and sauce, but the salt option has a powdery seasoning that may be divisive. Seafood salad: A salad mainly consisting of leafy greens with thawed bits of tuna and octopus on top. The seasoning is good, but the amount of seafood is not substantial, and the tuna was watery. Crab fried rice: Recommended, with good seasoning. The ingredients include frozen mixed vegetables and what seems like canned crab. The rice grains are firm but lack the individual texture, leaning more towards a porridge-like consistency, and the amount of crab was minimal. Draft beer: Good value for the price. Highball with aroma: Also good value for the price, but the alcohol content is low. Hoppy set: Regular hoppy, but served at room temperature causing the ice to melt quickly. The yakitori was delicious for the price, but the other dishes were average for the price of a typical casual izakaya. Evaluation of the ambiance and service: The interior is simple and well-maintained, which is good. Ordering is done through a QR code, which can be a bit of a hassle. Smoking is allowed in the restaurant, so non-smokers should be aware. The service is neither exceptional nor poor. Revisit: The yakitori was tastier than expected for the price, but the other dishes were mediocre. Considering the smoking allowance, I may come back if I feel like it.
