After finishing up my errands in Ebisu, I decided to have a light drink and stopped by this restaurant. It's located in Ebisu Yokocho, about a 3-minute walk from Ebisu Station. I had visited another meat sushi restaurant before and had a good impression, so I was looking forward to this one. This time, I ordered a platter of fatty tuna, a platter of three types of beef, and some salmon and fatty tuna sushi. As usual, I started with a toast with beer. I was in the mood for bottled beer this time, so I opted for that. The fatty tuna, which is a specialty here, was truly delicious. The seasoning with pepper was excellent, and the melt-in-your-mouth texture was amazing. It was a bit hard to eat due to its size, though. The platter of fatty tuna included medium fatty tuna, negitoro, and fatty tuna, a luxurious combination of meat sushi. However, the taste was slightly different from what I remembered. The meat used to be a bit more tender... especially the fatty tuna lacked the usual richness. Among them, I personally liked the negitoro the most. It had the sought-after deliciousness and a great mouthfeel. The platter of three types of beef included roast beef, tongue, and wagyu beef with sea urchin. The roast beef was honestly average and nothing special. The tongue was also mediocre, lacking in flavor. The wagyu beef with sea urchin, on the other hand, was quite tasty. The sea urchin added a nice flavor profile, and the meat itself was delicious. There was a significant difference from my previous experience, so I quickly finished up and left. Thank you for the meal.
