<January 2012 First Visit> Recommended by a customer as a "must-visit" place, this restaurant was a hidden gem located in Yotsuya. Despite being full from drinks at Sake Toan in Yotsuya San-chome, I decided to give it a try. It was worth it. Just a 5-minute walk from the Yotsuya San-chome intersection towards Araki-cho, down a narrow street. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a smiling proprietress greeting us at the door. The interior felt like a treasure trove, decorated with beautifully arranged flowers. The specialty here is the variety of side dishes available at the counter, perfect to pair with a cold beer. My favorite was the spicy Kinpira, which was deliciously hot. The proprietress was friendly and engaging, making me feel like I was being welcomed back home. I ended up visiting this place multiple times, drawn by the warm hospitality and delicious food. I'll definitely be back. <September 2012> I have become a regular at this restaurant, visiting at least once a week. Recently, there was a soba-making party hosted by a customer who enjoys making soba noodles as a hobby. The soba was incredibly delicious, and the party brought the customers together in a fun and friendly atmosphere. I can't wait for the next event. <October 2013> It has been almost two years since my first visit, and I must have visited this place at least 50 times. The people I have met here have been truly wonderful, and the conversations I've had have been enlightening. The restaurant attracts interesting and charming individuals, and the food is sourced from all over Japan, thanks to the proprietress's connections. This time, I had a ripe persimmon from Mr. Sumita's garden in Yonago, which had been aged for a week with dry ice. The result was a melt-in-your-mouth experience, unlike anything I had tasted before. The love and care put into the food and the ingredients are truly remarkable. I am grateful for the opportunity to enjoy such delicacies in Araki-cho. I will definitely be back for more. Thank you for the delicious meal.

It is located in a very obscure place so make sure to check the map before going. They have a variety of side dishes available. There is no menu, so you just specify what you want to eat. The kimpira is extremely spicy and addictive. If you don't like spicy food, it's best to avoid it. The main focus is on vegetables, so don't expect much meat or fish. It's more of a place to go for eating lots of vegetables. If you haven't had homemade cooking in a while, you will find comforting flavors here.
