On the 9th and 10th of each month, it seems to be Kudo Day. I happened to pass by and saw a banner about it, so I bought it out of curiosity. I also bought some snacks, although there weren't many varieties for an antenna shop. The taste was like a nostalgic school lunch bread with milk cream sandwiched in it. It had a crunchy sugar texture, so nostalgic. I also tried the Aomori red apple fruit cheesecake, with a thin layer of fruit pulp and mostly cheesecake. It was delicious when eaten chilled.

Continuing the journey through local specialty shops. While in Akasaka for work, I stopped by here. Aomorink is located in a prime spot in Akasaka. The shop isn't very large, but it is clean and bright. I bought some apple juice here to soothe my throat. I felt like I became healthier.

I stopped by a store called Nebuta while on my way to see the Christmas display at Akasaka Sacas. It looked like a souvenir shop from Aomori, with a very stylish exterior. They were hosting a soba-making event in what used to be an eat-in space. I tried their Miso Butter Curry Milk Dorayaki, which cost 180 yen. It's a dorayaki with a sweet and spicy filling made of miso, curry, and butter, inspired by the B-grade gourmet dish Miso Curry Milk Ramen from Aomori. I bought one to try, as it was a product from Matsueido, known for their delicious snacks sold at the Shiko Memorial Hall in Aomori. The dorayaki had a strong curry aroma and a unique taste with the miso and curry flavors, but it was enjoyable and delicious. The snack had a shelf life of 10 days. The store also had colorful sashiko threads and sake, which caught my eye. I wished they had a seating area like Ginza Nagano where you could enjoy a drink. I will also post a photo of the Christmas display at Akasaka Sacas, just a minute's walk away.

Visited a Aomori antenna shop along Akasaka Street in Akasaka, which opened 2 years and 8 months ago in March 2016. The interior has a casual atmosphere with a wood theme. There are table seats at the back, with a total of 16 seats, making it cozy. Upon arrival, there was only one customer. Afterwards, no other customers came in, so it was very empty. The customers were all women. The service was handled smoothly by a male staff member. The menu includes: - Jiyugaoka Burger (Weekday Limited Offer until 11/30) 1050 yen (excluding tax) - Jiyugaoka Cheeseburger (Weekday Limited Offer until 11/30) 1200 yen (excluding tax) - Jiyugaoka Teriyaki Cassis Burger (Weekday Limited Offer until 11/30) 1150 yen (excluding tax) - Baked Apple Burger 1300 yen (excluding tax) Drinks: - WONDER APPLE Oulin 270 yen (excluding tax) I ordered the Jiyugaoka Cheeseburger for 1200 yen and WONDER APPLE Oulin for 270 yen, totaling 1587 yen including 8% consumption tax. The Jiyugaoka Cheeseburger was served 12 minutes after ordering. It consisted of the WONDER APPLE Oulin and the Jiyugaoka Cheeseburger. The burger had a patty made of 100% domestic beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese sandwiched between egg and dairy-free buns. The lettuce, tomato, and onion were simply seasoned with their natural flavors. The patty lacked a meaty texture, leaving a somewhat unsatisfying feeling. The WONDER APPLE Oulin drink had a low acidity and a strong sweetness, making it delicious.

I bought some snacks to enjoy with alcohol at home from an antenna shop in Aomori Prefecture, located just a minute's walk from Akasaka Station. The shop was clean and the staff were friendly. Although the shop was spacious, I felt that the variety of products was limited as the same items were displayed in different places. I purchased two types of dried squid (spicy chili and chicken flavors), pickled mountain vegetables with young sardines, and squid cheese. The apple juice also looked delicious, but since I planned to drink a lot of alcohol that day, I decided to save it for next time.

There was an Aomori antenna shop in Akasaka (´・Д・) They had various local products on display, and in the back, there was a food space where you could enjoy a light meal. What caught my attention was the hamburger, called the "Jiyugaoka Burger." It seemed like a stylish hamburger, but I later found out that there is a place called Jiyugaoka in Aomori too! So, it must be using Aomori ingredients, hence the Aomori Jiyugaoka Burger. Despite being told it would take some time, I ordered it along with a set of potatoes and organic cola. I waited outside for about 20 minutes for takeout. The potatoes were made with Kitakari potatoes from Aomori, and you could really taste the flavor of the potatoes. The hamburger looked nice, but it was a bit hard in texture. The onions were quite firm, almost trying to escape from the sandwich haha. The patty lacked flavor, so ketchup was a must. The organic cola had a taste similar to root beer. I think Coca-Cola or beer would be better with a hamburger. The portion size was decent, but it felt a bit pricey. Overall, it was a unique experience. Bon appétit!

I was reading other reviews and found out that lunch had already ended. I can't write about the lunch anymore, but I can say that Aomori's local specialties sold here are really good. I was told by a local that many ingredients commonly used by people in Aomori are sold here. It's fun to see not just souvenirs, but also items actually used in households. They have juices, seasonings, and more, but I bought black garlic that I had always wanted to try. The package said "black jewel," and when I tried it, I was surprised. It's very soft and sweet, with no smell. I heard that black garlic can be made at home, but the process produces a strong smell, which can be off-putting. Black garlic seems to be a recent trend with a variety of options, but the black garlic here was very delicious and made me feel energized. I also heard that there is a rental office or meeting room in the back, which Aomori companies can use.

Located on Akasaka Street, this facility is attached to the "Aomori Regional Business Exchange Center". It is situated on the first floor of the Success Akasaka Building, with a welcoming display of "Neputa" on the ceiling. The "Aomori Regional Business Exchange Center" is operated by the "Ganbaru Enterprise Support Council", a collaboration between Aomori City, Hirano Town, Sotogahama Town, Imabetsu Town, and Yomogita Village. It opened in March 2016 with the aim of promoting business exchanges between Aomori and the Tokyo metropolitan area. It also serves as an Aomori antenna shop, selling processed products such as scallops, apple juice, and cassis. Lunch service was provided in the back space until March 2017, but it has now been discontinued, and only retail sales are available. According to the staff, purchased juice can be consumed on-site. Although the review mentions the lunch service, it is no longer available, making it irrelevant for future reference. However, the impression was positive during the last visit, so it is worth noting. During a revisit in March, the menu included various options such as Aomori's signature dish set meal, scallop grilled miso set meal, scallop set meal, daily special set meal, scallop rice bowl, and grilled pork set meal (all priced at 1,000 yen each), as well as dried fish ramen (600 yen) and Kuroishi yakisoba (500 yen) (prices include tax). Drinks were served with a salad bar and side dish buffet, which have been discontinued since March. Payment is made in advance. The order included the following items: apple tea, citrus green tea, and cold brew iced coffee from the drink bar. The scallop set meal consisted of scallop mixed rice, scallop fry, scallop sashimi, simmered scallop, salad, cucumber and eggplant simmered dish, miso soup, and pickled Chinese cabbage. The meal was abundant with 5 scallops, and the rice was generously filled with scallops. The rustic-style cucumber and eggplant simmered dish was also plentiful. The content seemed more fulfilling compared to the previous visit. Despite leaving a positive impression during the revisit, lunch service has been discontinued starting this month, which is somewhat disappointing.

Lunch at "AoMoLink~Akasaka~" near the company. I thought it was an antenna shop from Aomori, but they also serve lunch, including ramen. However, they don't serve ramen from 12:00-12:40. So, I tried the "Kuroishi Yakisoba" for 500 yen. It was a snack-like portion for the price, with a nice aroma. The next day, I tried to have the "Yakiniwashi Ramen" for 600 yen, which came with 3 scallops. The soup had a subtle flavor of seaweed and scallops, very light without much oil. The noodles were thin and firm, and the scallops were delicious. The portion was small, so it would be nice to add some rice balls. Overall, it was not incredibly delicious but not bad either. I might come back again if I feel like it. Thank you for the meal!

Dinner time visit. On this day, only Mom went out for dinner. Dad and I stayed at home. On her way back, she stopped by here. The reason was... When they arrived in Akasaka after being in Tokyo, Dad noticed something different. "Huh? It seems like there was a different restaurant here." "It looks like an Aomori antenna shop." Mom checked it out and visited. So, how was it, Mom? "Well, I tried the 'Aomori dried fish ramen'." Oh! It sounds delicious. "Yes, when I saw the menu photos, it seemed like the broth was rich." But... "The noodles were not that great." What! "It seems like they didn't put much effort into them. I'm not sure, but the taste and texture were like instant noodles (sorry if I'm wrong)." Oh no! Dad always says that noodles are crucial! "Also, visually, it looked a bit haphazard." Hmm, I see. So, how was the taste? "The soup was as expected, with a nice broth that was light and tasty, but the noodles were..." It's all about the noodles, right? "Yes, there is room for improvement." Mom said. How about Dad? Dad said, "Dad is also curious about the ramen, but maybe next time." They are interested in trying the set meal here next time. I am sensitive to the ingredients of the noodles, so maybe next time for me too. However, Mom and Dad seem interested in trying the set meal here.

Aomori's antenna shop, which opened near Akasaka Station in March 2016, sells various Aomori products such as cassis and scallop products. They also have a restaurant at the back. I didn't know that Aomori is the top cassis producer in Japan. As of October 2016, they offer six set meals with salad, side dishes, and a drink bar, as well as individual items like ramen and yakisoba. The set meals cost 1000 yen including tax. The set meals include Aomori flavor set meal, scallop miso grilled set meal, scallop set meal, tuna pickled bowl, scallop butter grilled set meal, and Hokkai donburi. The Hokkai donburi costs 1000 yen and includes scallops and Hokkai clams. The amount of scallops is decent. The rice is not vinegared. The set meals are simple with minimal cooking involved. The side dishes include cassis yokan, but I'm not sure about the claim of "effect in 15 minutes" for vision improvement. Other side dishes include simmered shiitake mushrooms, taro, daikon, and lotus root tempura, all with a typical salty Aomori flavor. The salad bar has fresh green peppers. The drink bar offers apple tea, citrus green tea, cassis juice, and cold brew iced coffee. The donburi is served to your table, but everything else is self-service. The place is clean but somewhat plain, and the price of 1000 yen may seem slightly high. It's a prepayment system, which may be confusing for first-time customers.

Located just a 1-minute walk from Akasaka Station, this antenna shop and restaurant opened in March this year. It is operated in collaboration by Aomori City, Hiranocho, Sotogahama-cho, Imabetsu-cho, and Yomogita-mura. The purpose of this establishment is to serve as a place for business exchange between Aomori and the Tokyo metropolitan area. The interior of the restaurant is brand new and filled with Aomori's specialty products. There are table seats towards the back, and during lunchtime, they offer a lunch menu. All drinks are priced between 200-300 yen. I tried the Apple Iced Tea for 200 yen, which was refreshing. The staff were friendly and explained the products well. The snack selection mostly consisted of apple-related items. I purchased the Nebuta Goldfish for 150 yen, a bite-sized sweet made with Aomori's Akane apples. The packaging was cute and the apple flavor was delightful. I also bought the Soft Apple Oolin for 140 yen, which was thinly sliced and freeze-dried, maintaining the authentic apple flavor. The Apple Fuji for 440 yen was addictive, lightly fried in vegetable fat. I also got the Cassis Rusk for 230 yen, which had a nice acidity from Aomori's abundant cassis production. They also had a variety of miso and dashi products. I purchased the popular Higashikita Stamina Sauce for 600 yen, a great opportunity to experience Aomori's flavors. It was a delightful experience.

A new facility resembling an Aomori antenna shop has opened near Uchibori Street on Akasaka Street. It's called AoMoLink, officially known as Aomori Regional Business Exchange Center. They offer several lunch options, and this time I had the scallop set meal. The salad and side dishes were self-service. The salad bar had a variety of vegetables like tomatoes, bell peppers, lettuce, etc. For side dishes, you could help yourself to specialties from Aomori like nebuta-zuke (pickled herring roe and kelp) and sautéed scallops. The scallop sashimi, scallop fry, scallop rice - it was a scallop feast, and you could have unlimited rice. The price may be debatable at 1000 yen, but the freshness of the scallops was good, and it was a satisfying meal. I recommend the dining area at the antenna shop.

This is a café located on Akasaka Street, attached to the "Aomori Regional Business Exchange Center". It is situated on the first floor of the Success Akasaka Building. The "Aomori Regional Business Exchange Center" is operated by the "Ganbaru Enterprise Support Council", a collaboration between Aomori City, Hiraka Town, Sotogahama Town, Imabetsu Town, and Yomogita Village. It was opened in March 2016 with the aim of promoting business exchanges between Aomori and the Tokyo metropolitan area. It also serves as an antenna shop for Aomori, offering processed products such as scallops, apples, and blackcurrants, as well as Aomori-produced agricultural products. Starting in April, they began offering lunch. The menu consists of a daily dish using Aomori ingredients only (1,000 yen including tax). The composition includes scallops, salmon roe, ginger miso oden, side dishes, pickles, rice, and miso soup. The presentation looks promising. I visited for lunch. It operates on a pre-payment system. The staff are friendly but not very experienced, leading to some unnecessary movements on the customer's part. The café has seating at the back, with around 20 seats available. After securing a seat, you pay at the counter, and water is self-service. While waiting at the table, the staff brought the food. The dishes for the day were scallop and egg over rice, simmered tofu and pork, stir-fried carrots, dried radish, and cod roe, pickles, rice, and miso soup. The scallop and egg over rice was served hot in a cast-iron pot, with quartered scallops cooked in egg. It was topped with green onions and seasoned with salt. The scallops were good, but the egg part was too salty for me to finish. The side dishes were average. It felt like eating at a company or school cafeteria. Even considering it's an antenna shop, I found the price of 1,000 yen to be high. It seemed like they were still figuring things out as they had just opened. I hope they continue to improve. I wish them the best in attracting more fans of Aomori ingredients.

After a long time, I went to work. I was walking to have yakiniku for lunch when I came across this shop. AoMoLink AKASAKA. Aomori's local products store had opened in Akasaka. And there was a dining area at the back where you could have lunch. It felt nostalgic for Aomori! I went in right away. There was a nebuta decoration at the entrance, still very new and clean. It had more of a community center vibe than a restaurant. The lunch menu had only one option, you had to pay at the register first and then choose your seat. But there wasn't much guidance, so it was a bit confusing. Water was self-service too. The lampshades were lovely, maybe from Aomori. The lunch that day was a hamburger set for 1000 yen. The hamburger was big, with a refreshing onion sauce, and the side dishes were good too, so 1000 yen seemed reasonable for this location. However, considering it was semi-self-service, it might be a bit pricey. I personally prefer coarsely ground hamburgers. The salad dressing was tasty, and there was something like nori in the miso soup, and a sticky seaweed-like side dish that was interesting. But there was no explanation, so I wasn't sure what it was. Also, they mentioned you could have a rice refill when I was almost done eating. It seemed like they had just started the lunch service, so the operation was a bit lacking. But you could buy Aomori's local products there, and the menu seemed to change, so I'd like to come back on a day when a menu that interests me is available.

I noticed that there was a store in front of Akasaka Station, so I decided to stop by. They had English toast rusk, but the bread was only available on the 9th and 10th of the month (since it's Kudo bread). I was attracted to the scallop miso soup which came with scallops in a pack instead of dried, and miso on the side for an easy preparation. I purchased the rusk and crispy dried apples, both of which were individually packaged and delicious!

Looking for some snacks for my evening drink, I visited this place for the first time, despite passing by it many times before. As I was browsing the shelves, I noticed a "nebuta" ( ̄(00) ̄) painted on the wall near the ceiling. Feeling a bit intimidated, I quickly shifted my gaze to the products on the shelves. Whenever I visit Aomori, I tend to be drawn to fresh fish and produce, but this place had a selection of processed goods sourced from Aomori. I bought the "Hotate Himoa Age Sen" (salted) for 248 yen and the "Cheese Ika no Nakayoshi" for 864 yen. For my enjoyable evening drink time, I started with the Cheese Ika, which was an interesting combination of squid topped with processed cheese. It paired well with warm sake and had a strong umami flavor that didn't lose to the cheese. A few days later, it was the turn of the Hotate Himoa Age Sen. With its crispy and light texture and subtle salty taste, it was a perfect match for beer. In addition to dried goods, they also had a variety of refrigerated, frozen, and canned products that make great snacks. I might have to make this place a regular stop.

I bought some Aomori-style rice crackers that resemble British toast at an antenna shop in Akasaka. Although I couldn't get the limited edition British toast from Kodou Pan, I found the British toast-style rice crackers, so it all worked out in the end.
