Asakusa has a reputation for its land, so even if you keep quiet, there are many tourists and there are quite a few shops that are not that great. In such Asakusa, this is a recommended shop when you don't know what to do for the first time. The atmosphere of the shop and the customer service of the staff are quite good, the meat is delicious, and the lineup of alcohol is also excellent.

This day was a birthday party for me and 3 other mikoshi (portable shrine) friends. The course was the most expensive one at 6500 yen...but! When we got to the restaurant, we found out that the all-you-can-drink option was an additional 1000 yen, making the total cost 7500 yen. Quite pricey! All 13 of us mikoshi friends love to drink. We started by ordering drinks, and the menu had a good variety, with makgeolli being a popular choice. The service was a bit slow. We were served some high-quality meat to start, and then we could order whatever we liked. There was also lamb available. We enjoyed side dishes like kimchi, namul, and cold noodles. After filling up on the premium meat, a cake appeared! We also received many presents. The staff, although mostly new, were kind. Thank you for the feast.

On Friday, my housemate really wanted to have yakiniku, so we decided to meet up around Asakusa ROX. After having dinner, we also wanted to do some shopping at Don Quijote, so we didn't want to stray too far from this area. We tried a few places and ended up choosing this one because we had a good lunch experience at their shop in Nihonbashi before. What we ordered: - Yamagata beef 8 kinds assortment (around 7980 yen) The premium kalbi was incredibly delicious, it literally melted in our mouths! - Summer limited cold noodles *You can choose between soba flour noodles or thick noodles.

I visited "Dojogari Asakusa Store" in Asakusa for the first time. When I arrived at 12 o'clock, there were less than half of the customers. There were about 4 staff members in the hall. I ordered "Wagyu Yukkejang Kuppa for 1,080 yen" and "Wagyu Hormone with Tofu for 1,280 yen". The menu had a limited variety, but it came with a drink bar. It's unrelated to the restaurant, but on the way from Asakusa Station to the restaurant, there were many Japanese people as well as foreign tourists. What was impressive was the abundance of rickshaws. I have seen rickshaws on TV a few times, but seeing them in person, I was surprised by how tall and handsome the men were. And they even try to attract customers themselves, which was also surprising. The food was served in about 10 minutes. The Wagyu Yukkejang Kuppa, as indicated on the menu, had the rice served separately in a bowl. The soup was a bit salty but had the umami of the beef. However, the meat itself was quite tough for Wagyu. The pure tofu that my companion ordered was delicious with plenty of seafood umami. August 21, 2019 - First visit

During the busy Obon holiday period, amidst the crowds of people enjoying their summer break, I felt like I had to visit Asakusa. Even though I was working, I decided to go for some stamina-boosting yakiniku. Asakusa is known for its many tourists, so there are mixed reviews, but I decided to give it a try. They offered yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare) which I hadn't had in a while, but I ended up forgetting to order it. I went for the classic choices of tongue, skirt meat, kalbi, hormone, and soup. The sauce was delicious when paired with the meat. They also had a mild soup option which was nice! The soft drinks were a bit overpriced at 360 yen, but overall, the beef sushi was really tasty. Visited this restaurant because my child wanted to eat meat for dinner. We were seated in a quiet tatami room and ordered drinks, cocktails, aged beef tongue, assorted wagyu beef, wagyu yukhoe, half cold noodles, and rice. The beef tongue was decent, while the kalbi was quite tasty. The wagyu beef was definitely A4 quality. The yukhoe was delicious. The half cold noodles allowed us to choose between thick or thin noodles. We wanted to try the jeon if we had more room in our stomachs. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I used this restaurant for a birthday party for two colleagues. It was a surprise, so the staff kept the gifts hidden until the right moment. We had the anniversary course with a variety of delicious meats. The course was well-balanced. During dessert, they brought out a birthday plate and even replaced the extinguished fireworks for us to take a nice photo. They also brought out the gifts after the plate, and my colleagues were very happy. The staff was very attentive and the service was excellent. We had a great time and would love to come back again. It's recommended to make a reservation before going, as it was fully booked soon after opening on weekends. The food was consistently delicious! However, I was surprised that they didn't bring the lunch menu unless you specifically asked for it, even though they serve lunch on weekends. I thought they only had a la carte items, and I noticed other customers asking if they ran out of lunch menu options.

My companion, who had been there before the pandemic, gave a surprisingly positive review, so I had high expectations. However, the quality of the meat itself was not as high as I had hoped. The yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) was the most delicious dish. The thick-cut tongue was difficult to chew, so we ended up cutting it with scissors. The hormone (intestine) was cleaned perfectly, but I wondered if there was an issue with freshness, even though the restaurant prides itself on buying whole animals. Perhaps the impression was influenced by the many high-quality yakiniku restaurants in the Asakusa area. Ordering a premium cut might have changed the experience. The service and coupon usage were not a problem. The staff was attentive, and they changed the grill frequently. In a yakiniku restaurant, meat quality is crucial, so considering the good service, I give it 2 stars. Based on the past reviews of my companion, it seemed that the meat quality was not up to par, so I believe the restaurant may be facing challenges, but I hope for improvement in the future.

We ordered a la carte yakiniku. There were three of us, and we ordered a 10-item platter for around 8,000 yen, but split it into 3 portions for 15,000 yen. Each piece was not very satisfying, even though the individual items were delicious. The prices were a bit high.
