The day I visited, there was only one staff member managing the entire hall, so they seemed very busy, but they greeted me with a smile and had a pleasant attitude. The restaurant had four 4-person tables and counter seats. I ordered the following items: - Hamburger Steak 1,300 yen - Victoria Cutlet 1,300 yen Each dish came with soup and rice. The hamburger steak was tender and refreshing, with a creamy sauce that I think had cheese or cream in it. It was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. The Victoria Cutlet, which is like a breaded hamburger, had a light flavor that paired well with mustard. Everything was delicious, filling, and didn't leave me feeling heavy afterwards. I kept feeling happy and satisfied even after finishing the meal. I'll definitely go back to try the Crab Cream Croquette and Cutlet Curry next time. Thank you for the meal!

It was a restaurant with a traditional Western atmosphere. I arrived right when they opened on Sunday for lunch, and both the table and counter seats were quickly filled. I ordered the Victoria Cutlet for 1,300 yen, which is like a breaded hamburger steak. It was tasty, but personally, I prefer a regular hamburger steak.

I was worried that the restaurant might be closed in the middle of the consecutive holidays, but it was open so I visited this place. It was a really hot day, and about 8 people were already lining up about 5 minutes before the opening. The store opened exactly at 11:30 am, and we were seated one by one. About 15 to 20 minutes later, it was already full. The Victoria Cutlet Cream Croquette lunch menu comes with soup and rice. The Victoria Cutlet was packed with meat, and although the juices didn't overflow when cut, it was still juicy when eaten. The crab cream croquette had a strong crab flavor. The coating was a bit hard, so I was surprised at first, but as I got used to it, I started to like it. The atmosphere and taste were both great, so I want to come back again.

Had lunch at the Western restaurant "Ainakitchen Riviere" in the dining district behind Takashimaya in Futakotamagawa. I ordered the Victoria Katsu, which is a menchi-katsu (breaded and deep-fried ground meat cutlet). First, I tried the soup in a cup, and it was deliciously hot. This raised my expectations. The main dish, Victoria Katsu, had a crispy coating, and when I cut it with a knife and fork and dipped it in mustard, it was so tasty. The flavor made me want to have some rice too. It's not outstandingly delicious, but it's the kind of delicious that makes you want to eat it again. So, I'll definitely come back here for lunch sometime soon.

During lunchtime near Futakotamagawa, I often have lunch at "Aina Kitchen Riviere". There are several lunch options, but this time I had the Victoria Katsu, which is a menchi katsu on a bed of rice. I opted for the large portion. The cup of soup served at the beginning was surprisingly delicious. This attention to detail is a sign of a good restaurant. The main dish, Victoria Katsu, comes already dressed with Worcestershire sauce. Enjoying it with some mustard, it was tasty. It may not be outstandingly delicious, but it's the kind of dish you'd want to eat over and over again. The special lunch with delicious fried fish used to be a favorite, I hope they bring it back.

I transferred at Futako-Tamagawa and decided to have lunch at "Aina Kitchen Riviere" as it was lunchtime. I was planning to order the special lunch with fried horse mackerel, but they didn't have it so I went with the classic hamburger instead. The restaurant is usually very crowded, but surprisingly it was empty that day. Just as I was thinking that, the place got filled up right when the cup soup was served (laughs). The soup was delicious and I enjoyed a few sips before waiting for the main dish. The hamburger, which I hadn't had in a long time, was still delicious. It wasn't outstanding, but it was well-prepared and had that authentic taste of a Western-style restaurant hamburger. It was so good that I found myself wanting rice instead of bread (laughs). It had been a while since I had a hamburger, but it really felt like the signature dish of the restaurant. However, since I prefer fried horse mackerel, I might go for the special lunch next time (laughs).

I revisited the restaurant to try the natto omelette that caught my eye on the menu before. It turned out to be more like okonomiyaki than I expected! But it was delicious. The eggplant butter written on the blackboard had a rich flavor and was fantastic. I had imagined the fried chicken to be crispy all over, so it was a bit different from what I expected. Today, there were many regular customers in the restaurant again, chatting happily with the staff. The female owner (?) is beautiful and I might become a fan!

I wanted to eat home-cooked food and stumbled upon a restaurant that was a big hit! The soft hamburger, cooked gently, felt like it was warming my tired stomach. I also liked the cozy atmosphere where regular customers were chatting with the chef. I will definitely go back again!

Had lunch at the Western-style restaurant "Ainakitchen Riviere" in Futakotamagawa. I ordered the special lunch, which happened to be a delicious fried horse mackerel dish. The soup was hot and tasty, and the salad was also good. The fried horse mackerel had a beautiful golden color and a rich aroma. It was so delicious with Worcestershire sauce and tartar sauce. Choosing the special lunch was definitely the right decision. I don't usually get off at Futakotamagawa station, but I would make the effort to come back for this delicious meal.

Recently, I often get off at Futako Tamagawa for work, and I prefer to have lunch at a local restaurant rather than a fancy one. That's why I enjoyed lunch at the town's Western-style restaurant "Ainakitchen Riviere." Lunch comes with a hot soup, which is a nice touch. For the main dish, on one day I had the special lunch, and on another day I had the Victoria Katsu. The special lunch was fried horse mackerel, and it was incredibly delicious! The fluffy horse mackerel with tartar sauce and Worcestershire sauce was really good. There are quite a few places in Tokyo that specialize in fried horse mackerel, but the one here is also outstanding. It's surprisingly not talked about much. The Victoria Katsu is a hamburger turned into a minced cutlet, and it's also delicious! It doesn't overflow with meat juice, but you can definitely taste the richness of the patty. When you eat it with a bit of mustard, it becomes even more delicious! I haven't ordered the hamburger yet, but I'm sure it's delicious too. There are other lunch options on the menu that I haven't tried yet, so there's always something to look forward to.

These days, I often find myself in Futakotamagawa for various errands since the morning. After taking care of a few things, I headed to Riviere for a meal. I had tried to visit the restaurant a couple of times before, but it was closed both times. This time was the third time lucky, and I was the first customer. The restaurant has a spacious counter with a few seats and some table seating as well. It quickly filled up with customers as soon as it opened, showing that it is a beloved spot in the neighborhood. It seems like the restaurant is run by a couple, working together seamlessly to handle the lunch rush. The lunch menu offers options like hamburg steak, Victoria cutlets (breaded and fried hamburg steak), and crab cream croquettes, among other appealing choices. I decided to order the crab cream croquettes this time, attracted by the fact that you get two large croquettes with real crab meat at such an affordable price. The set came with the main dish, salad, rice, and soup, a classic Western-style lunch set. The price of 1200 yen is reasonable given the location in Futakotamagawa and the delicious taste. The cream croquettes were really tasty and brought back nostalgic memories. The lunch menu has many tempting options, such as the hamburg steak and Victoria cutlets, each with its own group of fans. I would love to try them all! It was a delicious meal. Thank you.

I had lunch at the Western-style restaurant "Aina Kitchen Riviere" located in the dining area behind Takashimaya in Futako Tamagawa. I usually go for the Victoria Cutlet, but this time they had a special lunch menu available, so I decided to try the special fried horse mackerel. This fried horse mackerel was incredibly delicious! I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be really good, very good! The fish was moist and tender. When you dip it in the sauce and add tartar sauce on top, it tastes really delicious! I searched online and found out that they occasionally offer fried horse mackerel, and I have to say, as much as I love the Victoria Cutlet, the fried horse mackerel is even better (laughs). I don't know when I'll be able to go back, but I would be really happy if they have fried horse mackerel again next time!

I visited this restaurant for the first time for lunch. Located in Futakotamagawa, Yagikoji is an area I know well, but this was my first chance to visit this place. They offer homemade dishes, as indicated on the blackboard and menu. The restaurant was about 70-80% full, with counter seats available as well.
- Glass of white wine @480 yen
- Hamburger steak @1200 yen: Soft texture, some may prefer a stronger meat flavor, but I personally found it delicious. It was generously topped with sauce.
- Special lunch (fried horse mackerel) @1200 yen: Different from regular fried fish, the taste was delicate and the pieces were easy to eat. Two types of sauce were provided, which was nice.
- Daily lunch special (pork cutlet) @900 yen
- Curry rice @870 yen: Unlike homemade chunky curry, this was a curry with roux and rice. It was not overly heavy and easy to eat, which I liked.
- Lunch comes with soup and salad. Unlike chain restaurants that often use semi-processed ingredients, this place feels like a warm and cozy local Western-style eatery with homemade dishes. It's a simple kind of delicious that I find quite precious nowadays.

Today reached 27 degrees Celsius, truly feeling like a summer day. The sun was strong, making even short sleeves feel sweaty. Had lunch with my family in Futako-Tamagawa. We looked around at different places, but ultimately decided on this restaurant. It was established in 1977. In 1977, the Shin-Tamagawa Line started operating between Shibuya and Futako-Tamagawa. At that time, the Denentoshi Line started from Oimachi, with through-service to Nagatsuda. I remember this well because I used to live in Oimachi and commuted to a university along the Tokyu Line. It seems this restaurant has been around since those days. Their specialty is the unchanged hamburger since their establishment, and the Victoria cutlet made from the same meat. We decided to order those and share them between us. First, we were served piping hot soup. I had read reviews on Tabelog beforehand, so I wasn't surprised by the heat. A few minutes later, our mains arrived. The hamburger was large and flat, not too thick. It looked very soft and fluffy, almost like a stewed hamburger. The slightly reddish sauce had a nostalgic, comforting taste. It had the flavor of a local Western-style restaurant, simply delicious. The Victoria cutlet had the same shape as the hamburger, but had a crispy texture and a strong taste due to the sauce covering it. It went well with the Worcestershire sauce. I had imagined it would be similar to a minced cutlet, but it had a unique texture that didn't feel like it was made from the same meat as the hamburger. Both dishes were very delicious, and we were completely satisfied. It was a Western-style meal that made me enjoy eating rice from a plate after a long time.

Rating: This is a Western-style restaurant that has been around in Futakotamagawa for a long time. Personally, I feel that it doesn't quite fit the vibe of Futakotamagawa. They serve lunch even on weekends, so there is a slight sense of value for money. The tonkatsu and hamburg steak are very delicious, but the prices are slightly on the higher side for Futakotamagawa. I felt that the balance between price and value was a bit off. Also, be careful with the person taking your order. Make sure to have them repeat your order.
Location & Atmosphere: The restaurant is located about a 10-minute walk from Futakotamagawa Station, behind Takashimaya where there are many restaurants. We only had to wait for one group before being seated. The seating is not extensive, with about five table seats. The interior has a cozy and tidy feel, typical of an old Western-style restaurant in town. The customers are mostly couples, with a few solo male diners and some families with children. There was a notice at the entrance to fold up baby strollers, indicating there may have been past issues with them.
Food: I ordered the Victoria Katsu for 1,200 yen. There were about three lunch options available, and I chose the katsu that looked delicious. It was indeed very satisfying and tasty. The portion size was not very large. However, I found the price of 1,200 yen to be a bit high. It seems to be the Futakotamagawa price. If it were priced at 1,000 yen, I feel like more customers would be inclined to return.
Service: After placing our order, I overheard the server relaying an order we did not make to the kitchen. When the server came close to our table, I had to confirm, and it turned out to be a mistake that was narrowly avoided. The server did not repeat our order after taking it, which may have led to the mistake. Despite the delicious food, I believe the customer service at the front of the house should be more attentive.

Had lunch at Futakotamagawa. Found a nice-looking Western-style restaurant. Inside, there were counter seats and table seats. It seemed like a family-run place. Arrived at 13:30 and had to wait a bit. Saw a sign outside recommending "Victoria Katsu" - not sure what that is. Ordered it along with chicken soup and salad. The Victoria Katsu arrived - crispy on the outside, like a meatloaf with lots of ground meat. It was strange but addictive. Also tried the Katsu Curry - a bit spicy with a crispy cutlet. They must be good at frying. Definitely want to come back to try a different fried dish next time. Will visit again when in Futakotamagawa. Thank you for the meal.

Located in Futakotamagawa, the Western-style restaurant "Aina Kitchen Riviere" was founded in 1977 and is about a 5-minute walk from the station. It is situated behind the Tamagawa Takashimaya South Building. I visited on a weekday afternoon. The restaurant has a nostalgic atmosphere typical of a local Western-style restaurant, and it feels like it could be featured in "The Lonely Gourmet." The menu includes various fried dishes, curry, hamburg steak, and other Western-style dishes, with the standout being the "Victoria Cutlet." Despite its noble name, the menu description reads, "Fried hamburger patty." In other words, is it just a minced cutlet? To dispel this doubt, I decided to order it.
First, I started with the soup. The piping hot soup had a rich chicken broth reminiscent of a hot pot. It was delicious. After about 5 minutes, the "Victoria Cutlet" arrived. The crispy coating was already topped with a special sauce. Cutting into the crispy coating revealed a juicy minced meat patty. It was indeed a minced cutlet. The center was cooked rare, with a hint of pink remaining. The sweet and tangy sauce mixed with the meat juices made for a delightful combination. And when dipped in mustard, the flavors came together even more. Despite its noble name, the Victoria Cutlet turned out to be a humble and lovable fried dish.

Located in the gourmet street "Yanagikoji" behind the south building of Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C., is a cozy Western-style restaurant called "Aina Kitchen Riviere". I headed to my usual counter seat, but the restaurant was as popular as ever, with a full house since I arrived. Even though I was eager to try the "hamburger" that I had never had before, I ended up changing my order to the "daily special lunch" which was fried horse mackerel. After placing my order, I realized that I had actually eaten it before... The special lunch costs 1,200 yen and comes with a sweet onion soup and delicious rice. I always wish the portion size was a bit bigger... The chef carefully deboned and cut the thick horse mackerel into four stick-shaped pieces. The crispy and fragrant coating paired perfectly with the fluffy and flavorful fish. I enjoyed the first piece as is, as the fish was already seasoned perfectly. The second piece was dipped in a medium-thick sauce, while the third piece was covered in a tangy egg-rich tartar sauce. The accompanying vegetable salad had a tangy dressing that complemented the fried fish well. Overall, the fresh horse mackerel fry at this cozy Western-style restaurant was delicious.

My wife and I decided to try out a new restaurant for lunch. We ordered the Victoria Cutlet and the Crab Cream Croquette. The Victoria Cutlet was like a deep-fried hamburger patty, very thick and delicious with Worcestershire sauce. I personally think it would be even better with demi-glace sauce. The Crab Cream Croquette was rich and hot, be careful not to burn your mouth. Both dishes were beautifully presented and the restaurant was clean and smoke-free. We had a great meal and will definitely bring our child next time. Thank you for the delicious food!

On Sunday at 1 pm, the area around Futakotamagawa Station is crowded with many people. Naturally, many restaurants are packed with customers, and as I went out for lunch during work, it was quite a predicament. After walking around, I managed to slip into this restaurant, which had some empty seats. Behind the counter where I was seated, there were bottles lined up, indicating that this is a popular spot among regulars. The menu featured the "Hamburg Steak" for 1,120 yen, with the words "Unchanging taste since 1977" suggesting that this dish is a signature of the restaurant. The large-sized hamburger steak is a blend of beef and pork, with a soft texture and meaty flavor. The sauce, based on tomatoes, is not too acidic, making it a mild and easy-to-eat delicious dish. Personally, I prefer a more robust and rough hamburger, so I found this one a bit lacking in intensity. However, the taste is well-established, so it's more of a matter of personal preference. In an area filled with numerous eateries, enjoying a meal in a calm atmosphere like this is truly relaxing for both the mind and body. The delicious hamburger steak, thank you for the meal.
