At Asakusabashi, there is a slightly higher-end yakitori restaurant. The appetizers are potage soup and pickles. The potage soup had a slightly grainy texture, I personally wish it was smoother. The paper lanterns are unique and not seen in other shops, which is nice! The sauce could be a bit richer. The liver was moist and tender. There are other delicious and affordable yakitori restaurants in Asakusabashi, so it's unsure if this place can compete with them. Recommended for those looking for a slightly more upscale yakitori restaurant.

After the corona pandemic, I finally had some delicious yakitori! I think yakitori and yakiton are foods that you can never replicate the quality of at home. So, based on a friend's recommendation, I went to Hira-chan. I had high expectations. The restaurant had a nice size where you could see the head chef overseeing everything. Before the grilled items, I had some horse sashimi and lean meat. They were refreshingly delicious. I wanted to keep eating forever. The grilled items came in a set of 10 (I got too excited and only took a picture of 2...). They asked about your preferences and how you like your meat cooked. The first bite of the liver was amazing! It was tender, not smelly, delicious, and had a nice charcoal aroma. The chouchin, served in the middle, had a chewy, melty texture with a solid meaty flavor. I ended up drinking a lot of beer, and by the time I finished eating, I was pretty drunk... The restaurant had a lively and energetic atmosphere. It was nice that they came to check on us at just the right time when our drinks were running out.

I came across this place on Instagram and visited for the first time. I didn't make a reservation and arrived early, so I was able to get a table, but it quickly filled up. They offer courses of 5, 7, or 10 skewers, and I ordered the 5-skewer course. They asked about any preferences or dislikes, which made me feel comfortable eating. The yakitori and salted chicken giblets were delicious. The oyakodon and chicken soup were a bit too salty for my taste. Overall, the yakitori was so good that I will definitely visit again.

I heard that Asakusabashi is a hidden gem for food, so I went to explore. There are many affordable, delicious, and comfortable places to eat. I tried tataki, chouchin, seseri, soliles, and salted motsu stew. I was happy to try chouchin, as I thought it was only available at high-end yakitori restaurants. Everything was tender and perfectly cooked, very delicious. Although not yakitori, the salted motsu stew was amazing.

Hirachan had always wanted to go to this restaurant! Located in Asakusabashi, this place is rumored to be the best. I made a last-minute reservation for an early time slot for my first visit. As a fan of yakitori, I was in heaven. I started with a draft beer toast and then tried various dishes such as the touted fresh chicken skewers, liver, tsukune, and seseri. Asakusabashi has many cheap red lantern-style restaurants, but this place is different. The quality of ingredients, preparation for each skewer, sauce or salt seasoning - considering all of these factors, the prices here are worth it and everything is delicious. I definitely want to go back to this restaurant.

If you want to eat delicious yakitori, this is the place to go. They serve one skewer at a time, so you can enjoy it warm and fresh. The round heart, chicken breast, and liver were all excellent! Whether it's the quality of the meat or the way it's grilled, both are great. There are also some rare cuts available, and this time I tried the chouchin which was delicious. The selection of shochu and sake is good, although a bit on the pricey side. I started with beer and then switched to hoppy, which was a winning choice. In between the assorted skewers, they give you grated daikon radish which is also amazing. They really know what they're doing. I will definitely be back.

Happy New Year, Hira-chan! Last year, a fellow wholesaler in the same industry opened a standing sushi restaurant (@sushi.s.365), so I invited the head chef and went to check it out. It turns out that the wholesaler is also a regular customer of Hira-chan. Such a strange connection. I felt a sense of closeness with Hira-chan, and the food was delicious as always. The skewers and dishes we had were: - Appetizer: Chicken meatball soup - Chicken skewers - Salt simmered dish (half portion) - Liver - Grilled chicken breast - Heart - Gizzard - Silver skin - Cartilage - Shiitake mushroom stuffed with meat - Additional chicken neck - Chicken breast with plum - Gizzard again (refill) - Grilled chicken wrapped in shiso leaf The taste and atmosphere were great! Enjoying the classic yakitori while listening to Seiko Matsuda's "Red Sweet Pea." Today's highlight was definitely the refillable lantern ❤️ I wish the stuffed shiitake mushrooms could be a regular menu item, they were so delicious. The liver was also amazing ❤️ The salt simmered dish I tried for the first time was also delicious. On this day, due to sourcing issues, there was no chicken tail or skirt, so the menu included stuffed peppers and shiitake mushrooms. Mushroom lovers like me couldn't resist ordering the shiitake mushrooms. They were really tasty! Sometimes these unexpected changes are delightful. #AsakusabashiGourmet #AsakusabashiYakitori #Hira-chan #CharcoalGrilledChickenHira-chan #yakitori #TokyoGourmet #TaitoWardGourmet #TokyoCuisine #YakitoriLover #Yakitori #TokyoYakitori #Yakitori-jo #ChickenActivitiesGirls #R'sYakitoriExplorationDiary #WantToConnectWithYakitoriLovers #WantToConnectWithFoodies #YakitoriRestaurant #YakitoriLover #WantToConnectWithYakitoriLovers #LoveYakitori #YakitoriGirls #YakitoriInstagram #foodie #JapaneseFoods

Located down a side street off the road lined with shops along the JR line at Asakusabashi Station, this restaurant was very crowded. However, we were told that if we waited for about 15 minutes, we would be able to get a table. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we were seated. Upon being seated, we were served with warm towels and a delicious hot potato potage soup, which was a nice touch especially on a cold day. The chef recommended the assorted skewers as a good deal, so we ordered the "Assorted Five Skewers" from the options of five, seven, or ten types. The yakitori was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right, very delicious! I've heard that if the liver at a restaurant is good, then all the other dishes are also delicious, and this was definitely the case here. The liver was incredibly tasty, so we ended up ordering an additional four skewers. The simmered salted beef tripe was also outstanding, with a light yet rich and deep flavor that was amazingly delicious. The 15-minute wait to get in was definitely worth it. The staff were also very friendly, so I would love to come back again. Next time, I definitely want to try the chicken sashimi and horse sashimi. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I was taken to a yakitori restaurant called Hirachan near Asakusabashi Station West Exit by a local senior. I left the ordering to my senior, and the chicken tataki we had first was delicious. The assorted horse sashimi was also superb, showing the true taste of Kumamoto. The yakitori, cooked by the head chef with a solid body from the prestigious Kyushu Gakuin Judo Club, was all delicious.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, recommended by a reviewer who loves yakitori. As soon as you enter, you can see the grilling area right in front of you, and the smell of yakitori spreads all the way outside the restaurant. The restaurant has a counter-only setup. As a complimentary dish, we were served "sweet potato potage." The dishes I had today were: - Bottled beer (Sapporo) - Nigaido bottle - Ura Ro Man - Assorted skewers (5) - liver - chicken breast (with wasabi) - round stomach - shiratama - sorires (thigh base) - Miyazaki chicken sashimi 770 yen - Horse meat sashimi (3 piece assortment) 2,580 yen - Chouchin All the dishes were delicious. The portion sizes were generally large. The horse meat sashimi from Kumamoto was exquisite. The crunchy texture of the mane was so addictive. The head chef who was grilling at first left around 8 p.m. It was surprising to see the head chef of a yakitori restaurant leave. After that, the second-in-command staff took over the grilling and a la carte dishes, and seemed quite busy instructing a new staff member. I discovered a delicious yakitori restaurant in Asakusabashi, and I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I visited Hira-chan again. Everything I order here is delicious, and I love the atmosphere. This time, I ordered an assorted skewer. Every skewer that came out was delicious, and I was so grateful and happy. I always order the chicken sashimi here, but this time I added some tataki. It was so delicious. The liver and "chochin" skewers were especially tasty. The sauce was also to my liking. I love how they skewer the liver instead of the usual "chochin" and egg tube. I quickly finished my meal and headed home. Thank you, Chef, for the delicious meal. #AsakusabashiGourmet #AsakusabashiYakitori #Hira-chan #CharcoalGrilledChickenHira-chan #yakitori #TokyoGourmet #TaitoWardGourmet #TokyoFoodie #YakitoriLover #Yakitori #TokyoYakitori #YakitoriExplorer #GirlsWhoLoveYakitori #R'sYakitoriJourney #WantToConnectWithYakitoriLovers #YakitoriRestaurant #YakitoriFan #WantToConnectWithYakitoriLovers #LoveYakitori #YakitoriGirls #YakitoriInstagram #foodie #JapaneseFoods

Near Asakusabashi, this place seems to have a policy of maintaining a commoner-like atmosphere. When going with three people, you must always order the same item three times. One person had a small appetite, which was a real hassle! The taste is good, but it's a waste. If they focus more on customer service and maintain a clean store, they could easily be one of the top 100 yakitori restaurants. The service is lacking, though.

Yesterday, I went to Hirachan in Asakusabashi. Instead of a set course, I just ordered a lot of my favorite skewers. Everything was delicious, but the must-order items were the chouchin (lantern) and seseri (chicken neck). Different places have different chouchin, so whenever a restaurant has it, I always order it. The bliss of savoring it in one bite is irresistible ❤️ There are still more skewers I want to try, so I want to go back soon.

I left the ordering to my senior, and the first motsu (offal) stew was delicious with a refreshing salt flavor. The assortment of horse sashimi was also delicious, as expected from someone from Kumamoto. The yakitori was all delicious thanks to the head chef's grilling technique.

I visited the restaurant on Saturday at 4pm. I sat at the counter and ordered rare cuts and liver as my main dishes. The yakitori was delicious. If you eat too much, it can be a bit pricey. It cost a little over 10,000 yen for two people. But I am satisfied! I recommend the chicken skewers, chouchin (Japanese lantern plant), sorinos (chicken tail), of course the liver, futaego (chicken thigh sashimi), vinegar-pickled breast meat. The silver skin (tough part of the gizzard), oil sac (fatty part next to the bonjiri), although rare, didn't give as much satisfaction. The macaroni salad was also delicious.

I feel like going to the yakitori restaurant Hirachan in Asakusabashi. As someone who doesn't like heated liver, I felt it was delicious for the first time. It's like foie gras. Other rare cuts are also delicious. It's very fresh, and the grilling is exquisite. I want to go again!

I had a meeting with a client in Asakusabashi and after finishing work, we decided to visit a yakitori restaurant near the west exit that we had been to before. The place was bustling and had a more upscale feel to it this time. We ordered beer and yakitori, and while waiting for the yakitori, we decided to try the "pickled squid" from the menu. The owner warned us that it was quite salty and recommended it as a good snack for sake lovers. I thought it couldn't be that salty, but when I tried it, it was indeed very salty. The owner suggested eating it with thick fried tofu, so we ordered that as well. It was really delicious! I think they should consider adding it to their menu next time. We also ordered sake and were impressed by the quality of the yakitori. It was juicy and flavorful, and the way it was cooked and served showed their dedication to providing a great dining experience. I will definitely come back again and hope to see the pickled squid with thick fried tofu on the menu next time!
