The pancakes were stacked three layers high, similar to Yamazaki's steamed buns, and topped with maple syrup. The milk gelato had a strong milk flavor and paired well with the pancakes. I visited this stylish cafe that caught my eye as I passed by the art theater. I ordered an unfamiliar Italian beer. The first sip was so delicious that I almost felt like I was in heaven, haha. After ordering at the counter, I received my drink first and then waited at my table for the food to be served (which was convenient as I didn't have to stand up or sit down repeatedly). The coffee had a strong bitterness but was smooth and easy to drink, which I liked. The food arrived in about 3 minutes, and I was happy to see tortilla chips included. The hot dog roll was a bit hard at the edges, which was a bit disappointing (but still edible). The curry-like sauce on top was a bit crumbly, so I had to be careful while eating. The cafe had a nice open terrace, which seemed pleasant as the weather was getting warmer.

Today I had a meeting with a friend in Ikebukuro, and while waiting I decided to stop by IWGP. I was surprised to find a cafe there - it's quite spacious and has a terrace as well. They serve coffee and sandwiches, and the coffee is brewed by a machine so it may not be the best quality, but it's inexpensive and perfect for passing the time. Great for time adjustment!

Visited at 2 pm on a holiday. Happened to come across it while walking. The delicious soft serve ice cream sign caught my eye and I decided to visit! It was full inside, so I planned to eat while walking but luckily a table opened up just in time! Since I was there, I also ordered the souffle pancakes. [Sakura Caramel] Refreshing milk! My favorite type of flavor! I love the taste like drinking milk! Delicious~ The caramel and cherry blossom are sweet in just the right amount. [Souffle Pancakes] High quality! Moist and fluffy souffle. It's so soft it's almost like drinking the pancake. It's even more delicious with soft serve ice cream on top! I can't believe there's such a nice open-air cafe in Ikebukuro. The terrace seats have a fountain right in front, making you feel stylish! Both the drinks and sweets are delicious, and it's a place you want to visit on a sunny day. It seems like it will become my favorite~ Thank you for the meal ^_^

Visited on February 19, 2023. Discovered a brand new cafe on the way back to Ikebukuro Station. Located in Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Park, right in front of a fountain, this cafe with a roofed terrace is hard to resist. I wanted some coffee after a meal, so the timing was perfect. Ordered at the indoor counter first. ◆Blend Coffee 350 yen ◆Apple Pie (with soft serve) 600 yen (450 yen without soft serve). You can choose between indoor or terrace seating, and the terrace has more seats and is better if it's not too cold. I tried to sit indoors, but it was full. I had to move to the terrace. The young staff seemed a bit inexperienced. It took about 5 minutes to bring my order to the terrace. The slightly frothy coffee from an old Italian roaster was delicious. The apple pie was soft and sweet, easy to cut with just a knife. There was warm air blowing towards the terrace outside, but it was quite hot due to the rising temperature that day. Overall, a good experience.

Located right by the west exit of Ikebukuro Station is the Global Ring Cafe within Ikebukuro West Park, also known as IWGP. Although the indoor seating was full, we braved the extreme cold and sat on the terrace. The cappuccino is priced at 440 yen, which is reasonable considering it is made with cafe vergnano coffee. The bitterness of the coffee and the richness of the milk tasted even better on the chilly terrace. I look forward to enjoying white wine on the terrace during summer afternoons.

I walked from the izakaya to the main house, and ended up at Ikebukuro West Exit. I haven't been to West Exit Park in a while, and I saw a big café there. Since it was cold, the drinkers among us were drawn inside the café. ★ The hot wine sangria tasted sweet but warmed me up. ★ For some reason, I was eating chocolate ice cream. ★ I was also eating round ring-shaped potato fries for some reason. The stylish café helped the drinkers sober up a bit.

The coffee shop is almost like a coffee stand. It seems to mainly sell coffee in a single house near Nishi-guchi Park. The interior has about 14-20 seats, and there doesn't seem to be much takeout. The signage and appearance make it easy to enter and use casually. The coffee is good, but the sticker on the cup is weak and comes off easily, hitting your nose while drinking. The tables are wobbly and it's cold inside.

I enjoyed an iced coffee while watching events at Nishi-guchi Park. It's especially nice to have iced coffee outside on a sunny day. The ice was in large block form. The strength was average. There is no WiFi (you can use Toshima Ward's WiFi). It gets quite crowded on Saturdays when events are held.

If the weather is just right, I would love to enjoy a morning on the terrace. However, lately the sun has been strong in the mornings, so I decided to have my morning inside the cafe. The interior had a few seats, but luckily I managed to get a good one. The sunlight was streaming in, creating a lovely atmosphere for breakfast. The egg toast was amazing, with the runny egg melting out when you cut into it. The toast itself was small but thick. It might not be enough for some people, but the taste was delicious. The combination of bacon, egg, and mayonnaise was perfect. I finished it in no time and could have easily eaten another one (maybe I'm just a big eater?). It was a blissful moment to fill my stomach with coffee and food. This cafe is a good place for a quick bite and a nice way to pass the time. Since I often wander around the city center in the morning, I like to keep track of cafes where I can have breakfast. I might visit this cafe again if the timing is right.

You can take a little break here and enjoy my favorite soft serve ice cream. It's from the Iwase Farm in Hokkaido. The soft serve ice cream from Iwase Farm is available at Pronto in New Chitose Airport, and personally, it's my number one choice among all the soft serve ice creams at the airport. It's rich in milk flavor and delicious. When I first found out that it was available here, I thought it might be a bit disappointing that it's not exclusive to a certain place, but being able to enjoy delicious soft serve ice cream nearby like this is still something to be happy about. If you want to have soft serve ice cream in Ikebukuro, I recommend the Ring Cafe in the east or the Donsanko Plaza in the west!

The cool breeze was very comfortable, but the tapioca drink I had was a bit disappointing. The tapioca was too soft and didn't go well with the drink. I felt that more creativity is needed, considering there are many other delicious tapioca drinks available.

"Cafe Veleniano" was founded in Italy in 1882, and the coffee made with their beans is quite reliable. - Egg toast: 418 yen - Set with blend coffee (hot): 220 yen I chose from the breakfast menu and saved 165 yen with the set drink. The thick toast was soft, with a crispy crust. The bacon added depth to the flavor, and the soft-boiled egg blended everything together nicely.
