This restaurant used to be selected as one of the top 100 udon shops, with a stylish and spacious interior that is great for dates, and even has a souvenir corner. I visited on a weekday evening before 8 pm and had to wait for about 15 minutes as there were 3 groups ahead of me. The prices are on the higher side, but it's nice that they offer not only udon but also various side dishes, mainly featuring specialties from Akita prefecture.
- Hatahata sushi (pickled sandfish sushi) for ¥480: It was different from what I expected, more like pickled turnip sushi, but it was refreshing and delicious. A specialty of Akita prefecture, it seems like it would go well with Japanese sake.
- Cold plum and oboro udon for ¥1500: Since it's the season for cold dishes, I opted for this. The menu seemed to have more variety of cold dishes than hot udon. The smooth texture of the Inaniwa udon, combined with the refreshing flavor, was perfect for the hot weather. The portion size was satisfying as well. Overall, the food was delicious, although the prices were a bit high. The complimentary udon chips upon seating and the free souvenir at the payment counter (a bag of hand-stretched dried noodles, known as Inaniwa udon offcuts) added to the overall experience, making me want to visit again. Thank you for the meal! ★

I visited around 1pm on a regular day. There was no wait, so I was able to enter right away. I ordered the most basic two-tone zaru udon. The portion was a bit small, but the noodles were smooth and very delicious.

The ramen shop is located on a crowded street, and during the daytime, there is always a long line, so I was curious about it. This time, on a weekday night at 8:50 pm, I couldn't make it to the closing time of the ramen shop I originally planned to go to, so I slipped into this place which had available seats. First of all, the chicken ham? was very delicious. The meat was tender and went well with wasabi and salt. As for the udon noodles, they were clear and glossy. The thin and smooth udon noodles were gentle on the stomach and just right for the second stop of the night. It may be difficult to go during lunchtime when it's too crowded, but I would like to try it again for a gentle finish to a night in Ginza.

Today in Ginza, I had udon noodles. It was so hot that I started with a beer first. The service was very polite and the beer was well-chilled and delicious. Then I ordered two types of dipping sauces for the udon. I added an extra serving of noodles halfway through. Both dipping sauces were delicious, and I finished three servings of noodles in no time. I highly recommend this udon place in Ginza.

I wanted to eat cold noodles, so I came around 7 pm on a Monday holiday. It's a popular restaurant, but there was no line outside. However, the inside was crowded. As soon as I entered, I was seated right away. They brought crispy udon chips first. They tasted just as they looked, with a wheat aroma. After a while, the tempura two-flavor udon that I ordered for around 2400 yen arrived. It came with udon soup and sesame sauce. The udon noodles were Inaniwa udon, smooth and with a wheat aroma, very delicious. It was a bit too much for me, and I ended up feeling full! Next time, I might try the hot udon.

At 5:00, there were three groups lined up ahead of me. When I looked at the menu, they only had Inaniwa udon. When I asked about side dishes, they said they have them on weekdays but only serve Inaniwa udon on weekends. I was thinking of having some sake, but since there were no side dishes and it was 1,200 yen per glass, I gave up. I ordered the Seiro Nimono (1,400 yen), which had a soy sauce-based dipping sauce that was a bit strong for my taste. The sesame sauce felt like it was overshadowing the goodness of the Inaniwa udon, which was a shame.

I arrived for lunch on Saturday at 11:10 and there were already 3 people lined up. By 11:15, there were about 20 people, so I was glad I lined up at that time. Lately, I have been lucky to find delicious udon consecutively, so I was looking forward to trying this place. The taste was... delicious, but not satisfying. Personally, I like thin udon like Inaniwa udon or Himi udon, but this one didn't suit me, which was disappointing. Both the udon and tempura were undeniably delicious, but they were too refined and easy to eat, and the portion was not enough. However, it would be good when you don't have much of an appetite in the summer, and I think women would like it. In fact, there were many female customers. When I left the restaurant at 11:50, there was a line of about 20 people.

Ginza during the long weekend is very hot. Today, I visited Sato Yosuke in Ginza, which I haven't been to in a while. It was so hot that I felt like having cold udon, so I decided to visit this place. I arrived 30 minutes before opening, but there was already a long line. Luckily, I got in on the first rotation and ordered their popular "Tempura Seiro Niwami" (with soy sauce and sesame miso dipping sauces). I love this dish! The tempura was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and piping hot. The Inaniwa udon was so beautiful that it almost seemed a waste to eat it, but it was delicious when dipped in the cold soy sauce. I also enjoyed changing the flavor with the sesame miso sauce. Personally, I like both sauces, but on a hot day like today, the soy sauce was perfect. I highly recommend having cold udon on a hot day like this. #GinzaGourmet #GinzaLunch #Udon #DeliciousUdon #InaniwaUdon #SatoYosukeInaniwaUdon #SatoYosuke #SatoYosukeGinza #TempuraSeiroNiwami #DeliciousTempura #Repeat

I arrived about 20 minutes before the store opened, and there was already a line forming outside. However, I was able to get in on the first round. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere inside the store was great. The service was polite, so I think it would be a good place to visit when customers come. The food was also served quickly, which was nice!

The restaurant is located about 5 minutes from Ginza Station, in a prime location. The area around the restaurant is a competitive noodle district with ramen shops and udon restaurants crowded together, sparking a lunchtime battle with long lines forming at each establishment. This time, I managed to get in right at opening time after waiting in line for about 10 minutes. The interior of the restaurant is spacious and has a casual atmosphere similar to a family restaurant. The dishes I ordered were: - Tempura and Soba Set (2400 yen) - Tororo Tsuke Udon (1400 yen) I was somewhat shocked by the taste. The noodles were thin like somen noodles and served with separate broth, but they lacked firmness and the portion was small, so it didn't seem worth the price. I couldn't understand why this place was so popular, and I regretted not going to the nearby ramen shop "Hashigo" instead. I can only scratch my head at the inflated ratings on Tabelog.

About a month ago during the Bon Festival, I went to visit my father's grave in Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture. Due to the pandemic, I hadn't visited in a few years, and during that time my grandmother had moved into a nursing home. When I met her at the reception, she recognized me as "Tak-kun," but as soon as we sat down for a meeting, she completely forgot who I was. We had a comical conversation where she kept mistaking my name for "Pak-kun," and we both ended up laughing about it. Reflecting on this memory, I decided to visit Sato Yosuke in Ginza, a famous restaurant known for its Inaniwa udon, a traditional dish from Akita. The interior of the restaurant didn't have much of a local feel, but the menu offered a variety of Akita's traditional dishes in addition to the famous Inaniwa udon. I tried a unique dish called Green Curry Tsuke Udon, and to my surprise, the strong flavor of the noodles complemented the curry well, creating a delicious combination. Before digging into the udon, I enjoyed some local sake, particularly Managutako, along with junsaizushi and hatahata meshi sushi as appetizers. The hatahata meshi sushi turned out to be incredibly tasty, pairing perfectly with the sake. Overall, it was a delightful experience to unwind after work in Ginza, enjoying some tasty food and drinks.

I arrived 5 minutes before the store opened and waited in line for about 40 minutes before being seated. The restaurant is spacious, so most people were able to get in on the first round. I ordered a simple menu item since it was my first time there - the Inaniwa udon, which was delicious as always. It looked beautiful! The sesame sauce paired well with it.

My daughter really liked it and insisted we stop by, so we did. She always orders the tempura zaru udon, which comes with two types of dipping sauce. I decided on the limited edition tempura and zaru udon set menu. It was my first time trying Inaniwa udon at a restaurant. At first glance, it looked glossy and exquisite, almost like raw squid. My daughter also enjoyed her sesame dipping sauce. Thank you for the meal.

It's a tourist spot. Most of the customers were from overseas. The staff were all able to speak English, which was impressive. The udon noodles were thin but plentiful, so it was satisfying. Having two types of dipping sauce kept it from getting boring! The beer came in a glass, but it was filled generously, which was nice. I thought the udon chips that came out were because I ordered a beer, but it seems they come out even if you don't order a drink.

This is my favorite restaurant! We went for dinner, waited outside for 15 minutes, and then waited inside for about 10 minutes. The noodles are not too thin, easy to eat, with a good chewiness, and you can easily finish two servings. The cut-off udon noodles for takeout are delicious when deep-fried, making a perfect appetizer to go with drinks.

A beautiful udon restaurant located just a step off the main street in Ginza. It's perfect for when you want to eat a little slowly but don't feel like drinking. It's a well-known restaurant with locations nationwide, serving delicious udon. The noodles are particularly noteworthy.

The noodles were quite thin and similar to cold noodles. It had a chewy texture rather than firmness, which was a new experience for me. It wasn't exactly to my taste. The flavor was average, but considering the high price typical of Ginza, the value for money is questionable. It's not a bad restaurant, but perhaps I had high expectations and felt a bit disappointed. The tempura was the most delicious, while the chicken rice was dry and had a strong soy sauce flavor, which I didn't particularly enjoy.

This is my second visit to Ginza Sato Yosuke, and I was surprised to see many foreigners lining up. It seems that the udon here is well-known among foreigners for being delicious. This time, I ordered the Thai curry two-flavor set, which includes green curry udon and red curry udon. The green curry udon was ranked 2nd in a list of delicious udon shops in Tokyo in June 2022. In conclusion, it was a great choice! The cold Inaniwa udon has a refreshing texture and chewiness, and it goes perfectly with the chicken-based green curry and seafood-based red curry, which are spicy but smooth. The udon was so delicious that I finished it in no time. The restaurant is cool and the seats are spacious, creating a calm atmosphere for dining. Being selected as one of the top 100 udon shops in the Tabelog rankings from 2017 to 2020, this restaurant definitely lives up to its reputation. When paying, if you ask the staff if you can have the "fushikko" (a bag of cut ends of Inaniwa udon) placed by the register with "free" written on it, they will kindly offer it to you, saying "Please enjoy, the plain fried version is delicious." Such service is always appreciated, no matter your age! I left the restaurant fully satisfied with both the meal and the souvenirs.

A udon restaurant located in a corner of Ginza. This shop is always crowded with tourists and Japanese customers, so I was curious and decided to visit. The menu offers two types of udon: two-color udon with dipping sauces of soy sauce and sesame. The udon has a clean appearance with very thin noodles. Personally, I prefer thick noodles and not a fan of thin noodles, but the udon here was chewy. Also, the price is a bit high. For this price, I think there are many other udon shops that are cheaper and tastier. Perhaps the high price is due to the location in Ginza. Personally, I felt that the soy sauce was probably store-bought and not special, so it was a bit disappointing.

I visited the restaurant 'Sato Yosuke' in Akita Prefecture, remembering how delicious the udon I had there was. This time, I ordered the 'Nimai Tenseiro' (¥2640). When I had it in Akita a few years ago, it was around ¥1500, so I was surprised by the price increase. However, the taste this time was disappointing. The tempura ingredients were also small and lacking in volume. Despite not being bad, I don't feel like it was worth the ¥2640. Even after trying to give feedback, it was not acknowledged. I won't be coming back.

I'm from Akita, and I think it's better to buy dried Inaniwa udon noodles and cook them at home, maybe even using Ninben's dipping sauce. Sato Yosuke's Inaniwa udon doesn't have much chewiness, and the texture is too soft. I would prefer a shorter cooking time, maybe 30 seconds less. The noodles didn't absorb the sauce well, so the flavor was lacking when I ate it quickly. I was planning to take my friends and family from the same hometown there, but I changed my mind. It's not that it's "bad", but I had high expectations because it's a restaurant with Sato Yosuke's name in Ginza, so I felt a bit disappointed. I had the Tempura Seiro Nimi, and if I were to put a price on it, maybe around 1,150 yen?
