Today, I went to Royal Host in Nagaoka-cho after visiting the grave. I ordered the Fisherman's Curry set from the British Fair menu. It was delicious and had a reliable taste. However, it may not compare to the Jawa Curry. I think I'll go back to the Jawa Curry next time. Oh, but I also want to try the Omurice. I'll definitely want to come back to this family restaurant again!

During the break between lunch and dinner, many restaurants close, so it's convenient that family restaurants are open all day. I prefer dishes like shrimp fry and crab cream served hot at the restaurant. Pouring sauce over the hamburger still gives that satisfying sizzle. The taste is consistent and reliable. Unfortunately, they no longer provide paper shields to prevent oil splatter, only large paper napkins. The hot plate was too hot, causing the potatoes to burn. It's nice that they offer multigrain rice and a variety of drinks at the self-service bar. The attentive customer service sets them apart from other family restaurants, but there's a sense of detachment that makes it slightly uncomfortable. Looking forward to enjoying their luxurious parfait after the meal. I'll definitely be back when they have their dessert fair.

Visited Royal Host Nagafukucho with my family for dinner. It had been a while since we last visited, so we spent a lot of time looking at the menu before ordering. I chose the Angus sirloin steak rice set. I wanted to try both meat and seafood, so I also ordered the hot grilled shrimp and scallop (small). The set came with salad, miso soup, and pickles, making it a very filling meal. The steak was good, but the rice was a bit lacking for me. Personally, I preferred the hot grilled shrimp and scallop over the steak rice.

I stopped by a Royal Host for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the Angus beef steak bowl with butter-grilled shrimp and scallops set, along with a highball. The portion size was just right and the meat was surprisingly tender. The place was bustling with ladies during weekday lunchtime. It was a nice change to visit a family restaurant after a long time.

I had tea at Royal Host while enjoying some sweet treats. I usually go there for lunch, so this was a new experience for me. I ordered a parfait and coffee (from the drink bar). It had been years since I last had one. The parfait came in a large glass container that was thick and heavy. It was cold, so the cream and ice cream inside didn't melt and stayed delicious until the end. I could drizzle chocolate sauce on it myself. It was delicious. I indulged in plenty of cream and felt satisfied. My companion had a cream anmitsu and burnt melon parfait, which they said was delicious. Eating this every day would surely lead to consuming too many calories and sugar, so I'll try to resist the temptation and come back only once a season. I'll definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I think this is the best family restaurant. Located a 6-minute walk from Keio Inokashira Line Nishi-Eifuku Station in August 2022, it may also be within walking distance from Eifukucho. It has a large parking lot and a Tabelog score of 3.06. I almost became a lunch refugee when I couldn't get into this restaurant, so I was very grateful when I was able to enter. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad Brunch Set for 1,840 yen including tax, which came with Onion Gratin Soup. Royal Host is famous for its Onion Gratin Soup, and I think it's quite good for a family restaurant. I like chicken, so the salad with grilled chicken on top was just right for me, making it easy to eat. The Onion Gratin Soup also played a good role. It was nice to have lunch while I was in Kichijoji after a long time. I drove home on local roads, which was a bit far. Thank you for the meal.

Had lunch at Royal Host. The parking lot is spacious and convenient. I had the daily lunch special which included chicken and crab cream croquette. Adding the drink bar made it a satisfying meal. I really like it. Thank you very much. Itadakimasu.

This place has a spacious parking lot, so it's relatively convenient to use. I always come here for lunch. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor, with the 1st floor being the parking area. The view from the window is quite open, and on sunny days, it feels nice. On this day, I chose the Stewed Tomato Omelette Set from the lunch menu for 2178 yen. I also added the drink bar for 363 yen. The portion was generous, maybe a bit too much. I enjoyed eating slowly and had a good time. Thank you for the meal.

Royce's omelette morning at Coco's is really nice. I feel like I've reached my limit for Coco's all-you-can-eat due to my age. Today, the onion gratin soup is included, so I got a large portion, but it's the perfect place to eat slowly with just a little bit. There are no people here today, so I can leisurely read the newspaper while eating. It's been a habit since the Akasaka branch to dip it in French mustard. I wonder if 1529 yen for a morning set is worth it in terms of cost performance, but it's nice to indulge once in a while.

Royal Host is a family restaurant located about 8-10 minutes from Eifukucho Station on the Keio Inokashira Line. I visited there with my parents on September 23, 2021. My father loves old-fashioned pancakes, so we initially planned to go to Denny's, but it was crowded with a 10-group wait due to the holiday. So we decided to go here instead. We only had to wait for one group, and we were able to enter smoothly. Looking at the menu, it was overall a bit pricey, as expected from Royal Host. They were having an Angus steak fair, so I ordered the "Angus Sirloin Steak Pilaf ~Garlic Flavor~" which was priced at almost 2,000 yen. The quality of the meat was not bad, but being a family restaurant, it was a bit tough. Nevertheless, it was delicious. The garlic flavor was a nice touch. Thank you for the meal.

For me, the most relaxing family restaurant to have breakfast in Tokyo is Royal Host. Today, they were 15 minutes late opening because they forgot the key, but I had no other option. The Yankee car (Nissan Silvia) left quickly. They're impatient, huh? The blend coffee is delicious as always. The hash browns today are a bit greasy. The atmosphere inside is calm. I enjoy reading Dogen's Shobo Genzo while sipping on my blend coffee here. It's a happy moment. Everyone, please spend some quiet time at Royal Host.

It's been a while since I've been to Royal Host! Coming here for the first time since arriving in Tokyo. I've been coming to Royal Host a lot lately, it feels like. I'm tired from moving today, so I decided to have a light dinner with a club sandwich. It becomes a luxurious dinner when paired with onion soup. I've always liked this set, even since my student days.

Family restaurant formats seem to be polarizing. There are chains that have raised their prices by improving the quality of their food, and there are chains that continue to compete by maintaining low prices and a sense of value. The former includes Royal, while the latter includes Gusto and Saizeriya. At Royal, ordering a set with rice and a drink can cost around 1500 yen, which is a significant price increase from around 1200 yen before. However, as consumers are often conditioned to believe that cheap prices mean poor quality, as long as the price increase matches the quality, it should not be an issue. On this particular day, the restaurant was quite empty with only half of the seats filled (visited on a Monday at 7 pm). The challenge seems to be attracting customers on weekdays, as weekends reportedly have good foot traffic. The food ordered included a kids' menu pancake set, a black and black hamburger with brown butter sauce rice set, a Royal Angus sirloin steak pilaf with garlic flavor, and sweet and sour sauce with multi-grain rice, domestic pork, and vegetables. The taste overall was satisfying, with efforts made to increase satisfaction in line with the price increase. The dishes had a good volume and presentation. The bill came out to just over 5000 yen. Royal seems to encourage cashless payments, with electronic money or credit cards being more convenient. Cashless payments are definitely becoming more common. Overall rating: 3.0. Will the price increase strategy pay off? Food & Taste: 3.0. Service: 3.0. Atmosphere: 3.0. Cost performance: 3.0.

I visited Royal Host around 1:30 pm on a regular weekday. It had been a long time since I last visited, probably since my university days. The restaurant is located in a good area in Tokyo, with a parking lot available and the store being on the second floor. I was surprised to see that it was almost full, even though it was past lunchtime. I had the impression that it was slightly more expensive compared to Saizeriya or Gusto, so I was surprised by how crowded it was. Looking at the lunch menu, I noticed that there were many options priced at 1000 yen or less, making it more affordable than I had expected. I ordered the Juicy Grilled Chicken (950 yen including tax) and asked for a large serving of rice, which was free. The set included the main dish (grilled chicken), soup, and rice. The chicken had a consistent flavor, juicy and slightly rich, making the rice go down smoothly. The soup felt a bit cheap, but the taste was not bad. I usually frequent family restaurants like Gusto, Saizeriya, Denny's, and Steak House, but revisiting Royal Host made me realize that it is also a convenient and affordable option. Thank you for the meal. (B)

After visiting the grave, I had lunch at Royal Host in Nagafuku-cho. It had been a while since I last visited, and after much deliberation, I decided to go with the Java curry. It was a great choice! The steak pilaf that my father had was also delicious.

Before receiving treatment for my lower back pain, I stopped by a different coffee shop than usual because my regular one was closed. I went to Royal Host and had pancakes with a cup of their house blend coffee.
