I always end up going to the ramen shop on the first floor here, but I finally got a chance to visit this place! [Atmosphere] Convenient location in front of the station. The interior, including the restroom, has a sense of cleanliness, and the lighting is dimmed, giving it a slightly moody feel. The staff are friendly. There are also seats where regulars who seem like friends gather. I sat at the counter, and it was nice to have a live feeling of carefully grilled skewers being served in front of me at the right timing. [Ordering and Payment] Seseri (chicken neck), bonjiri (chicken tail), tebasaki (chicken wings), tanuki (stuffed shiitake mushrooms), tsukune (chicken meatballs), chicken karaage, and finishing with chicken shiratama ramen, along with lemon sour and beer. I can't eat them myself, but my husband also ordered liver dishes. The total was a little over 8000 yen. The balance of atmosphere, taste, and price makes it feel like a slightly upscale yakitori restaurant rather than a cheap pub-style place. For me, the benchmark for yakitori restaurants in terms of moderate atmosphere, taste, and price balance is "Onba" in Shin-Yurigaoka. [Food Impressions] ① Skewers: Each skewer has quite a volume! The meat is juicy with plenty of fat!!! However, except for tanuki, the skewers were too salty. I'm not someone who prefers bland flavors, as I eat things like flavored fries from KFC or First Kitchen, Doritos, spicy ramen, etc., but I still felt that the saltiness was quite strong. On the other hand, tanuki had almost no saltiness and I felt like I wanted to add more flavor. Nevertheless, tanuki was very delicious. The shiitake mushroom stuffed tsukune was seasoned with salt instead of sauce, which was great! The combination of the shiitake mushrooms soaked in fat and the juicy meat stuffing was excellent! ② Specialty: Fried chicken - A bit dry, lacking juiciness compared to the skewers. It seems that they serve it with tartar sauce for lunch, which might be a better balance. I'd like to try the lunch set, where all items are 880 yen, for lunch as well. Chicken shiratama ramen - The soup was not the milky white shiratama I imagined, but rather a chicken oil-based one, which was delicious! However, the noodles were not to my liking, I would like to try it with thin straight noodles for this soup! [Summary] The skewers are juicy and tasty, especially the tanuki! The saltiness may vary depending on the day, so I would like to go 2-3 more times to see the average taste. As a fried chicken lover, I hope the juiciness of the fried chicken improves (^^).
