By early November, I had used GoToEat twice, earning 4000 points both times dining with my wife. For my third visit, I decided to use some of those points and made a reservation through Tabelog for "Yakitori Itto," a place we enjoyed for lunch. I used 2000 points when making the reservation online. When we arrived at 6:00 pm, there were no other customers. They provided hand sanitizer at the entrance and checked our temperature upon entry. The counter seats were spaced out with one person's distance between each pair. Although there were no partitions, the other customers who came in later were considerate, mostly in pairs, and not loudly talking, so there was no concern about droplets. I believe that COVID-19 measures require both efforts from the restaurant and cooperation from customers. We started with a toast with beer, followed by salad, fried chicken, and smoked liver. We switched to Hoppy for drinks and continued with dishes like Mio chicken, sasami with wasabi, liver, grilled gizzards, tsukune, etc. The liver was particularly impressive with its fluffy texture and perfect cooking. The gizzards were juicy and delicious. I had visited for lunch before and now wanted to come back for dinner, and I was not disappointed. The service and timing of dishes were satisfactory. It's a place worth revisiting, even without using GoToEat benefits.

I was interested in this restaurant and went there around 9 pm the other day. Although there were a few empty seats, they told me, "We can't serve you right now, can you wait?" I thought, how long is "a while," and of course, I didn't wait. It seems difficult to make a reservation for just "one person" on Tabelog, giving a strict impression of dining alone. Today, the usual Thai restaurant was crowded, so I decided to try their lunch menu. There were a few high tables by the window, about 10 seats at the counter, and some table seats in the back. I ordered the grilled chicken lunch set, which came with salad, pickles, miso soup, rice, and sautéed chicken breast. The chicken breast was tender and the special sauce was delicious. The occasional encounter between the chicken skin and the sauce was mesmerizing. The overall taste was quite good. However, I felt a bit unsatisfied with the portion size, maybe because my stomach has been expanding lately. It's under 900 yen, which is becoming rare in Shibuya, so I can't complain too much. I wish they were more accessible for dinner. Thank you for the meal!

I met up with some old friends from my student days after 18 years, and they made a reservation at Hitomi. The atmosphere was nice, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean. It seemed like a popular place. However, when we arrived on a Thursday, they informed us that there was a two-hour time limit. I didn't like that. By the time we left, the seats were still empty. I ordered 7 pieces of yakitori, but they told me that the grilled items would take some time. I thought they would come out one by one, but all 7 pieces came out at once. I guess that's why it's cheap. They recommended a skewer that was ¥500 for a single piece, but it was included in the 7-piece set for ¥1700. I ordered it, but I don't think it's worth ¥500 for a single piece. Since all 7 pieces came out at once, I couldn't eat them hot, and they weren't that delicious. Each item on the menu felt a bit shallow, despite the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. It's a shame. Thank you for the meal.

Yakitori Itto @ Chofu City, Tokyo @ Yakitori, lunch set Located on the 2nd floor of an independent building diagonally in front of the south exit of Chofu Station on the Keio Line, with Ramen Sakauichi on the first floor. The bright and spacious interior with large windows has counter seats, two 4-person table seats along the windows, and a space that can be partitioned with a 6-person table, making it a clean and comfortable hall. There are 13 types of yakitori ranging from 240-500 yen, 4 types of grilled vegetables, and various other side dishes. Meals include grilled rice balls, salt rice balls, oyakodon, and soboro don. It's nice that they serve gelato from Okaji in Koganei for dessert. For lunch, there are no yakitori options, but they offer raw oyakodon, fried chicken, grilled chicken, all for 880 yen each. You can also add mini fried chicken, raw egg, and natto. The fried chicken comes with a choice of lemon, onion, or grated daikon. We had the following for lunch for two people: - Raw oyakodon x 2 - Mini fried chicken with grated daikon x 1 The raw oyakodon is made with thinly sliced breast meat of Mio Sakura chicken and raw egg, creating a light and delicious dish. It was surprising as I was expecting the typical oyakodon with egg on top, but it was satisfying. The fried chicken was crispy and paired well with the roughly grated daikon, making it tasty. The relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant makes me want to come back for yakitori dinner next time. Highly recommended. Rating: ★★★★★ Parking: None, nearby parking available Visit date: 2023-04-27, lunchtime Takeout: Available Closed: No regular holidays Business hours: Weekdays: 11:30-14:00, 17:00-24:00 Weekends: 16:00-24:00 Counter seats: Available (12 seats) Total seats: 26 Smoking: Completely non-smoking Credit cards: Accepted Electronic money: Accepted, including PayPay (not for lunch) Point card: None Free WiFi: No Power outlets at seats: None Possibility of repeat visit: High Note: They offer courses for 3,500 yen, and all-you-can-drink courses for 5,000-5,500 yen.

Located on the second floor of the building southeast of Chofu Station East Exit, this yakitori restaurant is called "Itto" and is known for its flavorful dishes. The atmosphere inside is stylish and clean, with a mix of table and counter seating. The owner, Keiji Tanaka, hails from Nagano Prefecture and has a background in Japanese cuisine. The menu offers a variety of yakitori dishes, each with a strong flavor profile. The portions are on the smaller side, and the prices have increased slightly over the years. Despite this, the quality of the food remains consistent. The attentive service provided by the staff, especially the hostess, adds to the overall dining experience. Overall, Itto is a good choice for those looking for delicious yakitori in a trendy setting.

Macaroni potato salad, delicious... We decided to stop by here for a light drink on the way home. This is my second time here. I love potato salad, and the seasoning of macaroni and potatoes is indescribable... You can even get seconds, it's so delicious! I also love the smoked quail eggs, and of course, the yakitori is delicious too! Each skewer is large! The liver is especially tasty. It seems busy and the service may take a bit longer, but it's polite and the atmosphere is nice. Highly recommended! I was so tired from the strong drinks that I was completely exhausted by the time I got home...

I always end up going to the ramen shop on the first floor here, but I finally got a chance to visit this place! [Atmosphere] Convenient location in front of the station. The interior, including the restroom, has a sense of cleanliness, and the lighting is dimmed, giving it a slightly moody feel. The staff are friendly. There are also seats where regulars who seem like friends gather. I sat at the counter, and it was nice to have a live feeling of carefully grilled skewers being served in front of me at the right timing. [Ordering and Payment] Seseri (chicken neck), bonjiri (chicken tail), tebasaki (chicken wings), tanuki (stuffed shiitake mushrooms), tsukune (chicken meatballs), chicken karaage, and finishing with chicken shiratama ramen, along with lemon sour and beer. I can't eat them myself, but my husband also ordered liver dishes. The total was a little over 8000 yen. The balance of atmosphere, taste, and price makes it feel like a slightly upscale yakitori restaurant rather than a cheap pub-style place. For me, the benchmark for yakitori restaurants in terms of moderate atmosphere, taste, and price balance is "Onba" in Shin-Yurigaoka. [Food Impressions] ① Skewers: Each skewer has quite a volume! The meat is juicy with plenty of fat!!! However, except for tanuki, the skewers were too salty. I'm not someone who prefers bland flavors, as I eat things like flavored fries from KFC or First Kitchen, Doritos, spicy ramen, etc., but I still felt that the saltiness was quite strong. On the other hand, tanuki had almost no saltiness and I felt like I wanted to add more flavor. Nevertheless, tanuki was very delicious. The shiitake mushroom stuffed tsukune was seasoned with salt instead of sauce, which was great! The combination of the shiitake mushrooms soaked in fat and the juicy meat stuffing was excellent! ② Specialty: Fried chicken - A bit dry, lacking juiciness compared to the skewers. It seems that they serve it with tartar sauce for lunch, which might be a better balance. I'd like to try the lunch set, where all items are 880 yen, for lunch as well. Chicken shiratama ramen - The soup was not the milky white shiratama I imagined, but rather a chicken oil-based one, which was delicious! However, the noodles were not to my liking, I would like to try it with thin straight noodles for this soup! [Summary] The skewers are juicy and tasty, especially the tanuki! The saltiness may vary depending on the day, so I would like to go 2-3 more times to see the average taste. As a fried chicken lover, I hope the juiciness of the fried chicken improves (^^).

I had deep-fried chicken with tartar sauce for 880 yen. It was before 12 o'clock on a weekday. There were two groups of customers before me. It seems to be a special lunch during the state of emergency. It has a good reputation for dinner. I visited for lunch in these times. The fried chicken was large. The coating was crispy and the meat was moist. It's no surprise since it's a yakitori restaurant. The tartar sauce seemed homemade. It had a smooth flavor. It was a nice lunch with salad, side dishes, pickles, and miso soup. A delicious lunch that leads to a great dinner.

Located on the second floor of a building a little away from the bustling street, this recently opened restaurant has been attracting customers of all ages since its opening. The atmosphere inside can be seen through the windows from the street, and I was very curious to check it out. The appetizers were green onion salad and chicken ham, both delicious. We ordered the assorted grilled chicken skewers, half fried chicken, oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl), chicken soup, and more. The assorted skewers included various parts like thigh, neck, tail, liver, and premium chicken cuts. It was a great deal compared to ordering each skewer individually. The skewers were served one by one right in front of us, allowing us to savor the flavor of each part. The portion size of the skewers was quite generous, allowing us to enjoy the crispy exterior and juicy interior. The oyakodon was a bit overcooked for my taste, but the staff was excited about the perfectly cooked egg yolk. Overall, the attentive staff and high-quality dishes left us very satisfied. This is not just a regular izakaya, but a place to truly enjoy grilled chicken. I was delighted to see a restaurant dedicated to grilled chicken open in Chofu.

Visited on a Friday night. Making a reservation was the right choice as it was crowded. When it's busy, it can get quite noisy, so you need to speak up to hear each other. Located above a Kitakata ramen shop, this yakitori place might be a hidden gem due to its slightly hard-to-find location. All the dishes are delicious, but the smoked liver, quail eggs, and tsukune are must-try items! The smoked liver, quail eggs, and tsukune are all moist and the deliciousness lingers in your mouth. The fried half chicken takes some time, so it's best to order it first. By the way, it's super delicious. The service is also excellent, and the recommendations from the staff are spot on. The recommended dishes are also delicious, and I would love to visit this place again if I have the chance.

Second visit. The quality of the appetizer is always high. I ordered just one delicious tomato sour, which I had enjoyed last time. It's still Tuesday, so... The smoked quail I ordered as an appetizer was consistently delicious. I wanted more. My companion was also impressed. We ordered various skewers, and it was nice that they were served sushi-style at the counter. The liver was a bit too gamey and the blood liquid dripping constantly was a bit off-putting, but the other skewers - chicken thigh, heart, gizzard, tsukune, smoked cheese - were delicious. Especially the heart and smoked cheese are a must-try. The chicken thigh skewer is arranged in a calculated order from thigh (tender and juicy when eaten hot) to breast (light) to leg (still tender even when cooled), which is fantastic. For the finale, we shared the grilled rice balls with miso and soy sauce butter. The butter melted, making the seaweed a bit soggy and slightly difficult to eat, so if you prefer ease of eating and a refreshing taste, miso is recommended. The large shiso leaf on top also adds a nice fragrance. The only downside was that the speed of food service dropped significantly towards the end due to the crowd, leaving us a bit idle, but in terms of food, there was no complaint as usual. Thank you for the meal.

It was my first time in months attending a drinking party. The cost performance was great and everything was delicious! The corn tempura and quail smoked were particularly tasty... We ordered skewers of heart, gizzard, assorted skewers, and chicken wings. Unfortunately, the tsukune was sold out so we missed out on trying it, but we'll definitely try it next time. I tried a rare drink called Tomato Sour, which was also delicious and easy to drink. I will definitely visit again!

Chofu Yakitori Ichito. It is located on the 2nd floor of a building right by the east exit ticket gate, on the south side of the station. It can be a bit difficult to take the first step to enter because the atmosphere of the restaurant is not clear on the 2nd floor, but beyond climbing the stairs, there is a clean and nice restaurant waiting. This time, we had a large group of 12 people, so we were able to use the back seats in a row. It's nice to be able to use a restaurant like this. We chose a course menu with all-you-can-drink, so as soon as we sat down, the party started and the drinks were delicious and served quickly. Starting with appetizers, various yakitori came out at the right speed. The salad and fried potatoes were also delicious, just like the juicy yakitori meat! I would like to visit again when I have the chance. Thank you for the meal. (Visited in January 2020)

★Tonight, I had a year-end party with the usual soccer coaches at a new yakitori restaurant I found online the other day. It's located just a short walk from the east exit of the station, offering a course for 5500 yen with 2.5 hours of all-you-can-drink for four middle-aged men. The restaurant is on the second floor of a rather plain building in the south zone, above a Kitakata ramen shop. There are counter seats, table seats, and partitions for privacy, creating a cozy atmosphere. The staff in the kitchen and the waitresses are all friendly, and the typical mediocre course dishes you often find in izakayas are nowhere to be seen. The chicken dishes served at just the right timing were all delicious, and we had a great time for the full 2.5 hours. I don't want to praise it too much and risk it getting too crowded to make a reservation, but I think it's one of the top restaurants I've visited this year in terms of enjoyment.

I choose restaurants based on Tabelog ratings, and this one had low ratings. However, when I opened the reviews, they were mostly positive. I think the low rating might be due to the small number of reviews. I decided to give it a try. The restaurant was conveniently located near the station in a calm area. I had a reservation for 5 pm, but I arrived a bit early and the staff kindly welcomed me as they were preparing to open. The first impression of the restaurant was great. I had a Red Star bottled beer and they let me draw a lottery, where I won a couple of extra tickets. The staff recommended dishes and talked about the drinks I ordered. They were very friendly, and based on their recommendation, I tried the low-temperature cooked liver, which was average. I also ordered a tomato sour, a mixed yakitori platter, ginkgo nuts, and additional yakitori, all of which were delicious. The prices were not cheap but not expensive either. If you want to eat delicious yakitori in Chofu, this is a good place. They serve each skewer individually at the counter, giving a high-end feel, and the food was served hot. There were several female staff members, and all my orders were taken by one of them. She was so friendly that I felt like coming back. The yakitori was delicious too. After leaving the restaurant, they even escorted me to the bottom of the stairs. Thank you for the great service. Good customer service is really important.

I used this restaurant for lunch. The food was good, but the staff gave off a somewhat blunt impression. There weren't many options for lunch, but the dishes were well-prepared and quite satisfying. However, if the staff were a bit more friendly, the overall impression upon leaving would be much better. Also, it would be great if they could start accepting cash payments and provide receipts in the future.

I'm sorry, there are no photos. This yakitori restaurant offers local chicken and brand-name poultry on the menu, with some items handwritten. They serve one skewer at a time from the counter. The prices are a bit high, with lemon sours priced at 640 yen. While they put effort into their offerings, it may be more of a weekend spot rather than a casual weekday drink spot. The taste is good, not exceptionally delicious, but enjoyable. I recommend the heart, tsukune, and fried taro. I was interested in trying the half-fried young chicken, but it was sold out.

I went to the restaurant for lunch because the night reviews were good. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant was dark and the service was unfriendly. Maybe that's why it was empty? The fried chicken and side dishes were delicious though. But the rice was not tasty and the miso soup was too salty.

The appetizer is fried potatoes with dashi-infused cream on the side, offering an unforgettable taste. Today's recommended menu is the "Chicken Samurai" and the "Chef's Choice" which features different types of chicken every day, making it fun to compare flavors. The grated daikon with ponzu sauce is a refreshing palate cleanser after the grilled chicken. Thick shiitake mushrooms with golden needle greens are also recommended! The highlight is watching the chicken skewers being grilled right in front of you at the counter, creating a relaxed atmosphere where adults can enjoy delicious yakitori and sake at their own pace. The charming female owner recommends Japanese sake, and I look forward to deciding what to eat next time while enjoying it (*^^*)
