I went to the Inari Sushi specialty store, Inari Sushi Miyabi, located in front of Kanda Myojin. The main items on the menu are Mochi Inari and regular Inari Sushi. I decided to be bold and ordered both. You can also get them for takeout, but there are two tables inside where you can dine in as well. They also served complimentary tea. I took a photo with Akuta from Hoff Dylan, who held an anniversary live at Kanda Myojin Hall on July 2nd. The character of Inari Sushi is cute. The Mochi Inari was especially delicious. Inside the sweet fried tofu, there was soft mochi that stretched. The Inari Sushi was even tastier when eaten with pickled ginger. The Inari Sushi were relatively small, so I finished them in no time.

I bought some inari sushi as a souvenir at Miyabi-san, located below Kanda Myojin. I couldn't resist getting both mochi inari (400 yen) and inari sushi (200 yen) for myself. They have a seating area inside where you can enjoy complimentary miso soup. The cold tea was delicious too. It was great to see the recipients of the souvenirs enjoying them.

This is a famous shop in Akihabara, the otaku town. I also love anime and often visit Kanda Shrine, so I always stop by this shop for good luck charms. "Inari sushi," which is a favorite of the fox deity, is perfect for increasing wealth. You can order it starting from a reasonable price for 2 pieces, making it convenient. The taste is delicious, and it's a shop where you can feel the atmosphere of Akihabara tourism.

Just inside the torii gate of Kanda Myojin shrine is a shop run by Kanda Myojin Shitamiyabi, specializing in inari sushi. While they are known for their fried dishes and bento boxes, they also offer small two-piece takeout or dine-in options. I decided to try their regular inari sushi instead of the mochi inari, which seemed a bit heavy. The taste was quite gentle, with a lightly moist vinegar flavor. A small amount of pickled kelp was served on the side, adding a delicious kick. The inari itself was subtly flavored, creating a balanced combination. The pickled kelp was so tasty that it could almost be eaten on its own with rice, making it a great souvenir option.

It's close to 7 pm and Kanda Myojin Shrine is very lively today due to the festival. This shop was also crowded, but after visiting Kanda Myojin Shrine and walking around, the crowd had decreased, which was lucky. I had two mochi inari for 300 yen. It's a simple dish with mochi inside fried tofu. The fried tofu was very juicy and sweet, but the aftertaste was refreshing. The mochi was moist and delicious. I thought it might be too sweet, but the refreshing aftertaste could be addictive. Be careful when eating as it's very juicy. I couldn't find a place to leave my belongings to take a picture. Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by and tried the rice inari with mochi, which was a unique twist on the traditional inari sushi. It was made with oden ingredients, but the flavor was delicious with the fried tofu absorbing the seasoning well. It made me want to try the regular inari sushi next time.

Kanda Myojin's approach, next to Oto Coffee, opened in June 2022, is Inari Sushi Kanda Myojin Shimo Miyabi. It is a shop that serves fox sushi at a high-end bento shop located below Myojin Otokozaka. I came to visit while taking a walk after seeing Junji Takada eating "Inari Sushi" and "Mochi Inari" on TV Asahi's "Jun Sanpo" (broadcast on January 4, 2023). I tried the Mochi Inari 2 pieces for 400 yen. There is an eat-in space in the store, so I enjoyed it there. The two fox sushi were served on a wooden boat plate. Tea was also served as a service. The Mochi Inari has soft mochi inside the sweet and savory simmered fried tofu. The fried tofu is finished with a light taste based on kelp dashi. It is said that the fried tofu in Mochi Inari is made a bit stronger than in regular Inari sushi. This fox sushi shop is particular about using fried tofu from "Sagamiya," a fried tofu wholesaler established in the second year of the Meiji era, and "Sumidaya Mai," established in the thirty-eighth year of the Meiji era, and "Brewing vinegar" from Yokoi.

I recently found out that the bento shop "Kanda Myojin-mae Miyabi" opened a specialty inari sushi store in June. As a fan of inari sushi, I couldn't resist and decided to stop by when I had some errands nearby. When I visited before 3 pm on a weekday, they were only selling two types of inari sushi: regular inari sushi and mochi inari. I intended to get the "Oinarisan Bento" with 3 inari sushi and side dishes for takeout, but unfortunately, it was sold out that day. They mentioned that you can also eat the inari sushi and mochi inari on the go without a box, even at the simple table seats inside the store. Since I was a bit hungry, I decided to try the inari sushi. I ordered 2 pieces of inari sushi for 300 yen (with tea). The inari sushi arrived with pickled ginger in about 2-3 minutes, and it had a refined and traditional taste. It was decently delicious, but it didn't have the depth of flavor and juiciness compared to the ones from "Kanda Shinoda" in Kanda-Awajicho not far away. Still, it's a nice option to grab some inari sushi casually while visiting Kanda Myojin Shrine. After enjoying the inari sushi, I visited the Kanda Myojin Shrine before heading home.

There was construction at the approach to Kanda Myojin, and I was curious about what was being built. It turned out to be a specialty inari sushi shop called Myojin Shimomiyabi. I decided to try their lunch offerings and ordered the Oinarisan Bento with 3 inari sushi for 650 yen. While looking at the showcase, I also found mochi inari, a type of inari sushi wrapped in mochi, and added a 2-piece boat for 400 yen, making a total of 1,050 yen for my lunch. The mochi inari was made to order, so I had to wait a bit. The shop had seating available, so I took a break while waiting for my order. I also got a miso soup to take away. When I finally opened the bento at my office, I found that the mochi inari was warm and delicious, with a slightly sweet mochi wrapping the inari. The Oinarisan Bento included inari sushi with chicken, bamboo shoots, quail egg, and tamagoyaki. The fried inari in the bento was not as sweet as the mochi inari, but it complemented the rice well. Overall, both the inari sushi and the side dishes were tasty. This shop has been providing catering services for a long time, so you can trust the quality of their food.

I visited Kanda Myojin Shrine and got a special version of the May stamp for the Kanda Festival. I bought the famous "good luck inari sushi" (5 pieces for 650 yen) from Miyabi-san on the approach and brought it home. They also had a 2-piece option for those who wanted to eat while walking. I gratefully received the lucky charm.

I bought Inari sushi. A new restaurant has opened on the approach to Kanda Myojin Shrine. Judging from the name, it seems to be a new style of Japanese food and catering establishment near the shrine. Maa-chan highly praised it as delicious, and even though I am not very familiar with Inari sushi, I found it easy to eat and elegant. It would make a good souvenir. I don't usually buy it for myself, but I would be happy to receive it as a gift.

There was an empty seat inside the eat-in area, so we decided to dine in. The mochi inari had a good size, with a thick and satisfying texture. My friend and I each had one, and it was so delicious that we finished it quickly. The customers kept coming in and ordering more, with many even getting the gari kombu without hesitation. My friend ended up buying some gari kombu too! I wish this place was closer to my home so I could visit more often. I really liked it!

I always find this place closed by 5:00 pm, but I happened to discover it open during a limited-time light-up event after 6:00 pm. I had been curious about it for a while, so I immediately went in and asked for a 5-piece takeaway. While they prepared it, they offered me tea in a cozy wooden interior. When I got home, I enjoyed the inari sushi. Each piece was big enough to eat in one bite for most people, maybe two for some. The rice was perfectly seasoned and the texture was just right, making it delicious. It's rare to find inari sushi that isn't tasty. I would love to try their mochi inari sushi next time I visit. Fortunately, I was able to buy it on this lucky day, as they had returned to their usual closing time of 5:00 pm.

Passing through the torii gate of Kanda Myojin shrine and turning left, you will find Inari Sushi Miyabi. The sweet and salty fried tofu, moist vinegared rice, and perfect bite-sized portions make it a delightful treat. They have been using fried tofu from Sagamiya, a wholesaler with over 150 years of history since their establishment in Meiji 2. The accompanying pickled ginger with added kelp was also delicious. The cozy interior has a showcase and a few small tables for dining in. They also offer miso soup for takeout, but I enjoyed mine in the shop. They also display Mochi Inari, which I haven't tried yet but will definitely get next time. The prices for takeout are 650 yen for 5 pieces, 1000 yen for 8 pieces, and 1500 yen for 12 pieces. They also offer Inari Sushi bento boxes with side dishes for 650 yen. Inari Sushi Miyabi is located at 2-18-13 Sotokanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Tel: 03-4363-3898. Opening hours: 11:30-17:00, subject to availability. Access: 10-minute walk from JR Akihabara Station, 8-minute walk from Ochanomizu Station.

First visit in June 2022 (No.3715). I visited this restaurant to pick up another story after picking up some stories in the Ochanomizu area. This is a new "Inari Sushi" restaurant that opened on June 13th on the "Kanda Myojin Sando" street. It seems that a store operated by "Kabushiki Kaisha Ga" established in 1978 has been renovated. The company has many outlets as a bento shop in department store basements, and I have already visited and reviewed the store at Nihonbashi Takashimaya. The Inari Bento for 650 yen includes 3 pieces of "Inari Sushi" and side dishes. According to the greeting enclosed in the product, the "Inari Sushi" wraps carefully prepared vinegar rice in fried tofu from "Sagamiya," founded in 1869 in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, in the secret sauce of "Ga." The Inari Sushi is delicious with a sweet taste, and since the roots are in a bento shop, the side dishes are also of a reliable level. I am also interested in the "Mochi Inari" product. There are also takeaway products available, and since it is located near the entrance of Kanda Myojin, I look forward to enjoying reviews from other reviewers. Thank you for the meal.

After praying at the shrine, I purchased a pack of 4 for 800 yen. They were freshly made and warm. The fried tofu is rich and sweet, which is nice. It is recommended to microwave for 40 seconds if it gets hard over time.

I had both mochi inari and regular inari sushi. The mochi was soft and paired well with the sweet fried tofu skin. The inari sushi was also delicious. Maybe because I like mochi, I preferred the mochi inari more.
