Menu: The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, from traditional Japanese cuisine to fusion dishes. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. The presentation of the dishes is also very appealing. Overall, a great place to try different types of Japanese food.

Lunch is affordable, and you can choose between nigiri sushi or seafood bowl. Coffee is also served after the meal ☕️ There is a counter and tatami seating available in the restaurant. The owner is very nice, so I keep coming back. 🙂

Silver tent caterpillar's Dekamori...130th stop, Hitoya "Tachikawa" July 24, 2010 (Saturday) 13:59 by ekcamp Theme of the post: Dekamori B-Guru, Tokyo Today, I went out on the silver tent caterpillar by train, norizo here. Tokyo Metropolitan Subway occasionally holds stamp rallies, so I sometimes participate, but you can also ride the Toden Arakawa Line and the Setagaya Line. However, it would be a waste to just focus on the stamp rally, so let's enjoy the Chin Chin train as well. Therefore, today's Dekamori tour will be focused on the Toei Arakawa Line or the Setagaya Line in the vicinity. If you walk a little from Nishi-Sugamo on the Toei Subway, you will arrive at Shinkoshinzuka on the Toden Arakawa Line. Let's ride the Chin Chin train♪ The Arakawa Line is probably fully air-conditioned unlike the Hakodate City Tram. It's comfortable even if you ride leisurely♪ Before reaching Asukayama, a mysterious vehicle catches my eye. Although I didn't get off the train today due to the heat, I would like to ride it someday♪ Furthermore, I transfer to the Setagaya Line from Kumano-mae. Here too, you can ride freely with a One-Day Pass. Just like the Yurikamome, it is automated, so you can enjoy the feeling of being a driver from the front seat. After getting off at Setagaya Station, I walked about 1 km along the side of Setagaya Park, getting lost along the way, and finally arrived at "Sushidokoro Tachikawa". While searching the internet on the train, I found a Dekamori seafood bowl here. However, entering a sushi restaurant in the city can be quite nerve-wracking. As soon as I opened the door, there were about 8 counter seats typical of a sushi restaurant. I couldn't help but ask, "Is it okay if we have children with us?" They kindly guided us to a tatami room on the left, and when I looked next to me, I saw a parent and child enjoying sushi. Feeling anxious, I took out my PC and displayed a page that said "Dekachira". As expected, the master asked, "What will you do?" Fearfully, I showed the screen and ordered two of them. The friendly master accepted it, but I was very anxious because I didn't know the price. The reason for my anxiety was that I had forgotten my wallet today (laughs) My wife's wallet only had about 4000 yen in it. While we were in the midst of this, the long-awaited "Dekachira" arrived. It looked more delicious and surprisingly Dekamori than the seafood bowl I saw in Hakodate last week! My family loves vinegared rice, so no one made a displeased face even with such a huge serving. We were actually enjoying a blissful moment. Mocha took most of the ikura, maguro, ika, ebi, and kani, and I ate the remaining gari and tobiko with rice, but it was delicious♪ We also received miso soup for the number of people as a service, so we couldn't leave any behind. With Mocha's great help, we were able to finish it without any problems. Zucchi, who played a key role today, and my wife both polished off another bowl. We also finished the grapefruit dessert, and nervously checked the price. "It's 3000 yen!" Wow! It's 1500 yen per serving. It was as planned, but my tension eased, and I was able to enjoy a touching moment. To be able to eat such a delicious Dekamori in Tokyo for only 1500 yen... I'll definitely come back♪ Thanks to the master's personality, I have discovered another spot where I can enjoy the Toei One-Day Pass. I have been curious about this restaurant since reading Nyaccha-san's review. Today, I finally made my debut. Crossing diagonally through Shakujii Park, bathed in the cheers of children and sunlight, we arrived at a residential area. Oh, that must be it... A dignified presence. Upon entering, there were no other customers. I sat at the counter. As I received my tea, I asked, "I heard you have a huge chirashi bowl..." "Yes, we do." "I'll have that, please." "Sure." The interior of the restaurant was clean and elegant, exuding a sense of calm. The tea was delicious too. I indulged in this luxurious space all to myself. Bliss. The owner's work was meticulous and efficient. Through the glass case, I could see the arrangement of sushi resembling a traditional Japanese folktale. Each beautiful ridge was adorned with large pieces of sushi adding their own colors. And... it was complete. Let's eat. Tamago, ikura, firefly squid, crab, tuna, octopus, flying fish roe, sea bream, tuna again, flounder, scallop. I think that was the order. In between, I had miso soup and pickles, and finished it all in one go. The vinegared rice was incredibly delicious. After the meal, I refreshed with a grapefruit. Thank you for the feast. It is without a doubt that this is a great restaurant, from the owner's impeccable storytelling skills to the friendly character of the hostess. I would definitely like to come back here at night.

I have always been entertained by this blog http://maruru110.exblog.jp/6788836/ and since seeing it, I have always wanted to visit this shop because of its wonderful visuals and naming. I once tried to visit before but arrived just in time at 1 pm when the shop was closing, so this time I made sure to go with plenty of time for a rematch. The shop is located in the middle of a residential area where you wouldn't normally visit by chance. Although I saw online that there was a parking lot, when I arrived I couldn't find it, so I asked the shop and they told me it was about 20 meters away. After parking successfully, I passed through the curtain once again. The shop had a clean and calm atmosphere without an old-fashioned feel. As soon as I entered, there was a large counter on the right side extending towards the back. Since there were no other customers, I sat at the counter. I looked through the menu but couldn't find what I was looking for, so I asked the chef if they could make "Dekachira" and he said they could. I ordered it along with my companion's sushi. While sipping tea and looking around the shop, I noticed that there were a total of 8 seats at the counter. Although I couldn't see it clearly because of the closed sliding door behind me, it seemed there was also a tatami room. As we chatted about how delicious the companion's sushi looked, suddenly the chef took out a bowl and started shaping the sushi rice by hand. Once, twice, three times... he made four softball-sized portions in total. A huge serving! He topped the sushi rice with various toppings and presented a massive chirashi sushi. The "Dekachira" had toppings such as egg, squid, tuna, toro, ikura, and crab, a total of 10 varieties. The sushi rice, which looked like about 3 cups, was piled up high just as it appeared. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of the massive chirashi. Miso soup and pickles were also served, and I started eating. They provided a separate plate, so I transferred some of the toppings there and started eating. It was delicious! Each topping was delicious, but I especially liked the vinegar rice and egg. I put the toro in my mouth and savored the vinegar rice... put in the crab and savored it... and finally mixed the ikura with the vinegar rice... In about 10 minutes, it was over. After the meal, I also had a dessert of grapefruit and had a very happy moment. To be honest, I have hardly been to a non-revolving sushi restaurant and even though I have been taken to one as a child... in a tatami room... in a situation where the chef is making sushi right in front of me at the counter and there are no other customers... it was quite thrilling. I don't drink alcohol, so I basically have no experience at the counter. The chef seemed to have sensed that and started a conversation with me, not only about sushi but also about nearby restaurants that serve large portions and even shared that he also can't drink alcohol, which made me feel a strong sense of closeness. Moreover, he didn't push the conversation too much and left me alone at the right times, showing a considerate gesture, so I not only enjoyed the delicious food but also had a relaxing and enjoyable time. It's much better than going to a mediocre conveyor belt sushi restaurant! I came to eat a massive chirashi sushi, but unexpectedly, it turned into my sushi restaurant debut. Next time, I want to come back to eat regular sushi and write a review like other reviewers.
