There was a surprisingly cost-effective yakitori restaurant in Akasaka!! Its name is Torinokoyaya. I tried the ¥5500 course♡ First, cheers with a Black Label beer! The appetizers were: Seasonal vegetable pickles, Cream cheese and Tokyo Edo vegetables with red kiwi, Tokyo Edo vegetable butternut squash mousse, dashi jelly, crab and dill. The variety and presentation of the appetizers were amazing. The interior was like a traditional yakitori restaurant. The appetizers were like those from a Japanese restaurant, which was a pleasant surprise. The sweet potato cold soup with basil oil was delicious. The farm salad with Tokyo vegetables and vegetable dressing was very appetizing. Then, the yakitori started! The tsukune made with soft bone, domestic duck minced meat, Amakusa Daio minced meat, and chicken fat was special and tasty. The sori-less skewer was surprisingly large and delicious. The roast duck was clean and free of any unpleasant smell. The grilled eggplant was seasoned with salt and could be dipped in miso for extra flavor. The seseri was juicy and flavorful. The heart was a generous cut and had a satisfying texture. The chouchin was also delicious. For dessert, we had homemade creme brulee, which was rich and not too sweet. We were completely satisfied until the end. The restaurant had excellent ventilation, so there was no smoke from the charcoal grill in the dining area. The service was attentive and the staff were considerate. The Akamatsu Daio yakitori was very filling. The staff made sure we were satisfied and were accommodating with allergies. I highly recommend this place for those who love good food. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The restaurant has a low rating on Tabelog, but their yakitori is incredibly delicious. The specialty salt tsukune is especially tasty. The balance of salt and the juiciness of the meat is irresistible! The omakase set of 5 skewers had excellent seasoning, and I wonder if they use good quality salt overall. I definitely want to go back.

I stopped by here for some grilled chicken late at night during my business trip to Tokyo. It was just the right timing when the busy customers had left, so I could comfortably place my order in almost a private setting. The grilled chicken skewers were amazing, especially the chicken neck, cartilage, and stomach. The flavor of the shiitake mushrooms was also surprisingly delicious. The summer limited edition sake was delightful and added a nice touch to my solo trip in Tokyo. I've been encountering a lot of kabutomushi beetles in Tochigi Prefecture this summer!

It is located on the first floor and slightly tucked away. The interior has a counter and tables, with a visible charcoal grill for yakitori. The yakitori grilled over binchotan charcoal is delicious. The prices are reasonable, not too high. I visited on a Sunday and it was lively.

The white miso-glazed strawberry and taro bisque were delicious, especially the grilled gizzard and heart. The bill was surprisingly cheap. The interior may not be as fancy as other upscale yakitori places, but the quality of the food compared to the price is excellent. It's great that they are open on Sundays.

[Tori no Sumika] When it comes to yakitori in Akasaka, this is the place to go for a date, with friends, for a girls' night out, or even by yourself! I finally revisited after a long time and it never disappoints. The salt tsukune is a must-try, but everything on the menu is delicious. They have added chicken hot pot to the menu, so I plan to try that next time.

"The genre of 'yakitori' has been expanding, with a range from cheap chain restaurants like Torikizoku with a customer average of 2000-3000 yen, to high-end stylish yakitori places in the 6000-8000 yen range. However, there are actually few yakitori restaurants in the 4000-5000 yen range where you can casually enjoy quality yakitori with a variety of cuts. This place falls into that category. The menu offers a good selection of cuts, and there is also an omakase option available. The portions are generous and satisfying. You can also order individual skewers, making it a great option for those looking for a casual yakitori experience. It's also convenient that they are open on Sundays in Akasaka. Personally, I would have preferred the liver to be a bit more tenderly cooked. I will definitely visit again!"

The children went out, so the couple decided to have dinner at a restaurant they had visited before. They made a reservation and enjoyed delicious yakitori, especially the liver and tsukune. The quality of the food and the reasonable prices made the experience very satisfying. They also appreciated the selection of sake. They look forward to visiting again.
