I had the opportunity to have a meal with a friend in Futakotamagawa, and we happened to pass by this restaurant. The location is a bit hard to find, it's in the basement of a building behind Takashimaya. It seems like it was recently opened, as it wasn't there before... Anyway, we entered the restaurant. The interior has a calm atmosphere, giving off a vibe of an upscale yakitori place for adults. It's different from chain restaurants, with a refined space. We were seated at the counter and ordered some beer. We ordered without much thought, but later regretted it as there were other types of beer available. The variety of drinks is abundant. The main dishes were all wonderfully delicious. The liver tataki... it's chicken liver, but it had no smell and the sweetness stood out. I had eaten chicken liver as sashimi before, but experiencing it as tataki was truly impressive. The tataki... the crispy skin on the surface was fragrant, and it was refreshing to eat with ponzu sauce. This is a must-order dish. The tsukune... we dipped it in raw egg yolk. You can tell they are particular about the egg. It was rich and sweet, making me want to have it with rice. The handmade feel of the tsukune gives it a satisfying texture. The assorted skewers... there wasn't a single miss, all were delicious. Especially the quail egg stood out. I couldn't help but think, "What was the quail egg that came with zaru soba all this time!" It had such a strong presence and was delicious. With its semi-soft center, it melts in your mouth. I ended up ordering more. For the finishing touch, we ordered the zosui, which had a gentle taste with a flavorful broth. I don't usually go to yakitori places, but I was very satisfied. It's not often that you find a restaurant where everything you eat is delicious. I hope to visit again soon.

This was an izakaya with its main store in Mizonokuchi. It used to be very reasonable and delicious, but the taste has clearly declined since the chef changed. The Nagoya Cochin yakitori is decently tasty, but other dishes are not great. The dashimaki for ¥750 without grated daikon is a bit questionable, and the soy sauce was too spicy to eat. The sake selection and knowledge have also decreased compared to when it was in Mizonokuchi, it has become a completely different place and it's sad. I can't seem to find a good drinking spot in Futakotamagawa. (And a miracle happens at the second place. That's for another post, lol)

I visited the yakitori restaurant "Yuka" in Futako Tamagawa. It's a place my wife really likes, but it was my first time there. We sat at the counter and enjoyed some delicious appetizers (eggplant and tuna). The potato salad, fried oysters, liver, 5 assorted skewers, and chicken nanban were all great with alcohol. I visited after a long time. This time I tried the course menu and had hot pot for the first time, it was a huge portion! The course seems to mainly focus on hot pot. We also had some sashimi, tsukune, and tebasaki, but it seemed a little lacking for the men haha. We had plenty of vegetables and warmed up. Thank you for the meal.

Friend W and I decided to meet up for drinks after 4 months, so we chose to go to the Futakotamagawa area where we haven't been in recent years. I used to frequent the Mizonokuchi Honten branch of "Yuya" in my 20s (over 20 years ago), but since the store format changed, I haven't been to Futakotamagawa much. Even looking at past logs, it was back in 2017 that I last visited, so it had changed quite a bit. [Parking Information] Not available. (★1 point ☆0.5 points for evaluation. Visited for dinner. It had been a while since I drank in Futakotamagawa, so I made a reservation because it looked delicious. It's about a three-minute walk from the station. The restaurant is located underground. The inside of the restaurant has a small feel with about 30 seats - counter and table seats. You can even drink alone at the counter. The dishes mainly focus on grilled skewers such as Nagoya Cochin chicken, and they were all delicious. The chicken liver was exquisite. The homemade pudding was also amazing. The appetizers of amberjack and eggplant were too delicious. The drink menu is extensive, with a variety of sake and shochu available. It's a restaurant that makes you want to visit again, so I recommend it!

Such thoughtful service! When I went to a drinking party with friends, the course required a minimum of four people, so we had a drink-all-you-can option with à la carte dishes. We were first served with a surprising appetizer - three kinds of sashimi, three pieces each. "Wait, is this the appetizer?" Sashimi as an appetizer? How amazing! I was so impressed! The drink-all-you-can menu was brought to us, but we didn't even need to look at it. I was about to order three draft beers when I noticed the menu on the side! What? They have Master's Dream too? Even though it's a drink-all-you-can option? Wow! I was so surprised and impressed. Since it's a restaurant specializing in yakitori, we ordered that as our main dish. The edamame with garlic sauce was delicious! The beer just kept flowing! We had ordered two tsukune skewers, but we received three. This attention to detail! Isn't it the best? This kind of service, this kind of thoughtfulness, is the most delightful. It really touched my heart. Going out for drinks and being moved like this is the best. If you're looking for a place near the workplace to go with a friend, this is the place. The appetizer is great, with a sashimi platter. Many izakayas disappoint with their random dishes, but here you get fresh sashimi! The grilled chicken liver with sesame salt sauce is a must-try, it's rich and creamy. They also serve Master's Dream beer, which is much better than premium malt. The grilled skewers are great, and the oden is also delicious. The chicken soba at the end is actually udon, so that's the only downside.

The meat has a rich flavor, and the charcoal grilling is done perfectly, giving it a subtly crispy texture. It's hard to come across yakitori of this level. They also have a wide variety of drinks, including sake and shochu. The cost performance is good, so I recommend it. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

Nagoya Cochin skewers are delicious! The sashimi is also fresh and tasty! I think it's the best restaurant in Futakotamagawa!!!

I visited as a second party. There are many empty bottles of premium sake on the counter, but none of them are available for order. Although there is a decent selection of shochu as a izakaya, the variety of sake is not satisfying.

I think it falls into the category of good restaurants. The skewers are also delicious. It's like a slightly higher-end izakaya. It's best to go with adults.

A rare gem in the Futakotamagawa area. Everything is delicious. No children allowed.

Stylish yakitori restaurant. There aren't many restaurants like this in Futako, which has a lot of Italian restaurants, so I was very grateful.
