Located in the Nishi-Shinjuku/Yoyogi area and opened in March 2022, "FarmMart & Friends" is situated next to the beloved bakery, Shiomi-san. I had been wanting to visit this place for a while, but due to its previous closing days and my decreased visits to the area, I never got the chance. However, one day while enjoying donuts from the famous shop Haritts in Yoyogi-Uehara, a person in line mentioned that the donuts at "FarmMart & Friends" were even better than Haritts. As a donut enthusiast, I couldn't resist and made a detour to check it out. The signature item here is the fluffy and chewy "Super Soft Donut," along with other options like the "Whole Grain Vegan Donut." I visited around noon and had to wait in line with three other groups, but the variety of donuts kept increasing while I waited. I ended up purchasing two Super Soft Donuts, one with sudachi cardamom and another with fig and apple, as well as the Whole Grain Vegan Donut. If you buy three or more donuts, they provide a box for you. They also have seating available outside. First, I tried the Super Soft Donut, which had whole wheat kneaded into the soft and gentle dough, generously filled with delicious fillings. The donut truly melts in your mouth, with the filling being the star of the show. The fig and apple were gently sweet, while the sudachi had a nice tanginess, making them both delicious. However, I personally prefer plain or cinnamon donuts since I love yeast dough. The highlight for me was the Whole Grain Vegan Donut, which was simply amazing! The dough was substantial, with a crunchy texture from the whole grains on the surface and a hint of salt that enhanced the natural sweetness of the ingredients. The more you chew, the more depth of flavor you experience. I was completely hooked on this one. They also offer items like a prosciutto sandwich, which I'm sure would be equally delicious.

I had some errands to run in Yoyogi, so I stopped by the neighboring bakery during my free time. It seems like both shops are part of one big building. Here, they have a variety of seasonings, ingredients, snacks, drinks, and more, all without additives. In the back of the store, they also make additive-free doughnuts that come in about 5-10 different flavors. There's also a cafe space outside, so even though it's still hot, it might be nice to buy some doughnuts and enjoy them here.

Visited with my daughter who loves donuts. We shared the Super Soft Plain Donut.
Super Soft Cream Donut: Trendy mochi-like cream donut with Diplomat cream of custard and whipped cream. It's so soft that you almost don't need teeth to eat it. It's delicious and disappears quickly.
Whole Grain Vegan Donut: Bought this to go. Initially tasted a bit salty, but as you chew, the sweetness and deliciousness increase. Different from the soft donut, it's equally tasty. It can be enjoyed as a snack or with a meal. My first impression and post-eating experience were so different. It was incredibly delicious.
For families with children: The cafe has 4 counter seats, but it might be challenging for small children due to the narrow aisle. There are outdoor seats, which would be nice to use when it's cooler.
Next to a bakery called Shiomi-san. Was surprised to find them next to each other. Both places were busy, with many customers hopping between them.
The nearest station is Odakyu Line Minami-Shinjuku Station. I walked from JR Yoyogi Station because transferring from JR Shinjuku to Odakyu seemed troublesome, but it was within walking distance. The food was delicious, and I also want to plan to visit the bakery next time.

Next to the bakery Salt Mine, there is a grocery store that offers handmade donuts filled with plenty of jam, pesticide-free vegetables from local farms, and additive-free seasonings. They believe in the importance of creating and enjoying food made from quality ingredients, making better choices for themselves, their families, and the planet. The store is filled with a wide variety of seasonings, groceries, vegetables, and drinks, making it a fun place to browse. One of their popular items is the Vegan Multigrain Donut for 399 yen, which contains over 10 types of domestic grains for a sweet and salty flavor. It is slightly on the expensive side due to the variety of ingredients, but the unique taste has won over many customers. The donut is smaller in size, with a strong sweetness and slight saltiness. The texture is more oily and dense, giving a crunchy bite with each chew. While the staff are all very friendly and the store is great, the donut didn't quite match my personal preference. I would like to try their fluffy donuts in the future.

Lunch was not filling enough, so I planned to make a detour to Salt-san, but I was drawn to the donut sign next door. It feels like a trendy place for Yoyogi celebs with various condiments, craft beer, wine, and unique fruit liqueurs. It is run by several refreshing female staff. I tried two classic cream flavors and two non-cream flavors, kinako and regular. The dough for all of them is fluffy, so those who like a crispy texture may prefer something different. The cream flavors, especially the one with sudachi citrus, were very delicious due to their strong taste. Even though I am satisfied with chain stores and convenience stores, donuts bought from a stylish shop with young staff taste even better. The vegan donut with nuts on top looked delicious too, but I was able to try the cream flavors, so I only got those.

On Sunday at 12:30, there was a line of about 10 groups at the store. It's surprising how popular it is despite its location. I bought some fancy donuts and ate them while walking to Yoyogi Park. The taste was like "agapan" (light and fluffy). The atmosphere of the shop was nice.

I think the closest station is Odakyu Minami-Shinjuku Station. I love trying different donuts and always end up here. I keep coming back for the cream-filled ones, especially the citrus-flavored ones with a perfect balance of sourness and sweetness. The vegan donuts with crushed wheat on top are also amazing, so be sure to try them. It has a bit of a retro vibe, which I like.

I stopped by while buying bread at Shiomi-san's. I chose a super soft donut and a cream-filled donut. The outside was slightly crispy, but soft, and the texture was chewy and fluffy. It was super delicious. It's similar to fried bread. The cream is a mix of custard and whipped cream, and there's plenty of it. It has the perfect amount of sweetness. It was really delicious and my type of taste! Today was takeout, but you can also eat in, and they have delicious-looking coffee, so it might be nice to enjoy it on the spot.

I felt like eating donuts, so I visited this place. The interior of the shop has 4 counter seats, and there are bench seats outside. The staff were friendly and explained the flavors of the donuts to me. I ordered a carrot donut, a blueberry donut, and a drink, then sat at the counter. I received a cute tray of donuts and started eating. ...Sour!! It turned out I was given a sudachi donut instead of a carrot one. I should have realized before taking a bite. It was surprisingly sour. It might be good for people who like sudachi. The iced coffee was on the acidic side. The café au lait wasn't very sweet but was refreshing. The donuts were around 450 yen, and the drinks were around 550 yen. Compared to nationwide chain donuts, the prices are 2 to 3 times higher. The cost performance is so-so, but it might be nice to visit on a holiday stroll. They also sell vegetables and jams from local farmers. The blueberry donut was sweet and delicious. I wanted to try the carrot donut...! It was filled with plenty of cream inside. The plain donut without cream was sold out, and I have a feeling that would have been more to my liking.

I visited the restaurant around 12:40 on a rainy day. There was no one inside, but a lady was enjoying tea on the outdoor terrace. I purchased the cream donut that I had been wanting to try for a long time! This shop pays attention not only to the fresh cream but also to the outer dough. The cream in the donut I bought this time was made from Gunma milk. They also offer sudachi and apple flavors that change depending on the season. The dough was chewy and melted in my mouth! The balance of the surrounding brown sugar, cream, and dough sweetness was excellent, so it wasn't too sweet and refreshing to eat. Additionally, there was plenty of cream inside, which left me very satisfied.

A nationwide grocery cafe that sells additive-free products and vegetables, with an eat-in option. The store opens at 11:00, and you can purchase items like whole grain vegan donuts and food, but the super soft donuts are sold gradually starting around 12:00, so there were fewer donut options in the evening. You can apparently reserve donuts in advance if not on the same day. I tried the super soft donut, but it was so soft that I couldn't tear it properly in the video, so here's a still image. It was fluffy and filled with cream. The whole grain vegan donut was sweet and salty with a satisfying texture, suitable for breakfast or snack. Plain donuts and whole grain vegan donuts are available daily, but the lineup of other super soft donuts can be checked on Instagram.

Visited a place rumored to have donuts that are kind to the body. They have table seating outside and counter seating inside for dining in, with a one-drink minimum. I decided to try the "Multigrain Vegan Donut" and the "Soft Black Bean Kinako Donut", along with a cup of blended coffee. The Multigrain Vegan Donut was a unique experience, with a slightly salty taste and a crunchy texture from the multigrain sprinkled on top, more like a meal than a sweet treat. It's a donut that could become addictive. The Soft Black Bean Kinako Donut lived up to its name, with a subtle sweetness and a surprisingly non-powdery kinako flavor, resulting in a moist and unique donut experience. I wanted to try the "Sudachi Cream Donut" but had to pass due to my low-carb diet. Maybe next time. I'll leave the coffee review for another time.

The organic select shop and donut cafe is not very spacious, but there are plenty of interesting products to choose from. After walking around the store, I selected a donut with a chewy multigrain dough and a fluffy texture. I ordered one with milk and blueberry, and added a multigrain one to take home. The custard cream inside the fluffy donut was not too sweet, creating a perfect balance. The texture was more chewy than fluffy, making it easy to eat multiple donuts. I would definitely like to visit this shop again. ✨

I bought donuts at "FarmMart & Friends" in Minami-Shinjuku. The store is located in a residential area, with benches outside where customers can sit and enjoy their donuts. I purchased a cream donut for 390 yen, an apple spice donut for 450 yen, and a sudachi custard donut for 420 yen. The donuts have cream and jam on top as markers to prevent mix-ups. The sudachi custard donut has a yuzu flavor in the custard cream, which I like because I enjoy sour flavors, but my daughter may not like it. The apple spice donut has custard cream with apple jam and cinnamon, and the flavors are not fully mixed, giving different tastes with each bite, which is nice.

Vegan whole grain donuts
The outer coating of whole grains adds a crunchy texture that is simply irresistible. These donuts are incredibly fluffy and stay that way even after some time. I wonder what they would taste like if eaten fresh out of the fryer. The eat-in area has benches outside, where many customers enjoy their donuts with a cup of coffee.

Chocolate donut ¥528 (tax included) Orange juice ¥440 (tax included) I was torn between flavors but ended up choosing chocolate! The donut was chubby and cute, not just that, the cream was super rich but somehow not heavy!! I felt like I ate something but didn't get tired of it towards the end, it was delicious~ (^ . ^) I couldn't help but smile... They mix custard with chocolate for this one! The limited edition fig and apple one has cream inside... The dough is fluffy but not soggy or greasy, just right! I was drawn to the bottle and chose the orange juice, of course it was delicious! The staff explained the cream inside very politely, and they were friendly and bright when serving, it was very nice♡! Recommended!!

In the South Shinjuku area, next to the bakery Shibumi-san, there is a specialty grocery store. They sell donuts there, so I decided to visit while on my regular visit to Shibumi-san. Inside the store, there are plenty of carefully selected ingredients such as vegetables, tea, eggs, and tofu. Particularly, there are many products from Kamiyama, Tokushima. When I asked why, I was told that this store is a subsidiary of a company that operates an agricultural corporation in Kamiyama.
- Multigrain Vegan Donut
I'm not particularly concerned about whether it's vegan or not, so ultimately it comes down to whether it's delicious. As I took a bite, it was delicious! The dough is slightly sweet, with a unique flavor from various grains such as pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, oats, lentils, sesame seeds, and soybeans. The subtle saltiness added to the balance.
- Super Soft Plain
The dough is melt-in-your-mouth fluffy. It is dusted with powdered sugar, making it a delicious, traditional donut. Since I got it to go this time, I avoided ones with fillings, but I'm sure they are delicious too. Thank you for the meal.

I had some errands in the neighborhood and wanted to find a nearby shop I had in mind. They were sold out of plain donuts, but they had almost everything else in their lineup. I decided to go with the cinnamon flavor as I wanted to enjoy the simplicity of the dough. The donut had a soft and fluffy texture, similar to tofu. Personally, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again, but if I happened to be in the area, I might consider buying another one.

I heard rumors that it was delicious. It's located in a residential area in Minami-Shinjuku. I tried the organic donuts. Hmm, it's organic through and through. I didn't think it was delicious. The one with cream inside had a citrus cream. It might be good for trendy people, but as someone who likes American-style donuts, it didn't suit my taste. I think it would be good for people who like natural food or are into fashion.
