Yakiniku Toraji located on the 9th floor of Takashimaya in Tamagawa. This is a chain restaurant that can be found in various locations in Tokyo, but surprisingly it was my first time visiting. We waited about 15 minutes on a Sunday night before being seated. The restaurant has both traditional seating and tables, and this time we opted for a table. We ordered a variety of meats, salad, scallops, and finished with seaweed soup and cold noodles. The salad had vegetable chips which was a unique touch, and the dressing was delicious. The thick and tender tongue meat had a nice texture and was very tasty. However, the mixed plate of filet mignon and kalbi we ordered next was a bit disappointing, especially the filet mignon which had a slightly unpleasant smell. We couldn't finish it all. The cold noodles and seaweed soup we ordered to finish were excellent! Especially the cold noodles, which were similar to Morioka cold noodles with thick noodles, made me quite happy as a Morioka fan. Despite the noise from our children, the staff were very kind and helpful, which we greatly appreciated.

Sitting by the window is recommended at night. The night view is beautiful. As expected from a high-end yakiniku restaurant, the staff's service was excellent, and the meat dishes were neatly arranged and delicious. The course cost 6,500 yen, but each dish was tasty and satisfying in portion. It could have been a bit less, but it was so delicious that I ended up finishing it all.

It's been a while since I visited Toraji. We arrived for a late lunch and had to wait for 40 minutes as there were 4 groups ahead of us. It seems like summer vacation! We tried the Toraji set meal for 3800 yen. The atmosphere was nice, but the taste didn't quite suit our preferences. Lately, many places have low temperatures on the grill, so the food doesn't cook as expected.

It was a weekday lunch, but I made a reservation. The restaurant was quite busy with many customers, so I think it was a good decision to make a reservation. I was seated by the window, so I could enjoy the view while eating. I ordered the grilled beef set meal. I started with cold corn tea, then rice, egg soup, kimchi, namul, Korean-style chilled tofu, and beef stewed in soy sauce were served before the meat arrived. Everything had a rich flavor, so I enjoyed my meal. Also, I was told that extra rice was free of charge.

This is Toraji at Tamagawa Takashimaya. If you go around 5 o'clock, you may have to wait for about one group, but generally there is not as long a line as at the neighboring Din Tai Fung. I think it's because there are no other yakiniku restaurants at Tamagawa Takashimaya. The impression is not much different from other Toraji branches, but if you sit by the window, you can enjoy a nice view. You can see buildings like the NTT Docomo Building in the distance. The upper kalbi is a bit fatty. I love the super garlic and green onion hot pot.

Once again, I used this place for a girls' night out. It's located on the top floor of the Futako Tamagawa Takashimaya South Wing. It's clean and delicious, so I think it would be good for a date too. They focus on vegetables, and they serve a platter of kimchi and chorogi salad. If you ask, they will bring a salad that you can share. They have tongue, kalbi, harami, liver, and pork belly... and the tongue meatballs were a first for me. When you dip them in egg yolk, they are rich and delicious! I highly recommend this. For the finale, we had both cold noodles and bibimbap! It's great for sharing when you have a good number of people. As for drinks, we had draft beer and a bottle of traditional makgeolli for 3000 yen. The price of makgeolli has gone up. It can't be helped with the rise in various prices. We were busy chatting, so I apologize for the lack of detailed food photos.

It was a family celebration meal. It had been a while since I last went, but the service was great and we were able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. There was a variety of meats available, and all of them were delicious. I liked that we could choose between sauce, salt, or no seasoning for the meat. They even gave us ice candy after the meal, which made us all happy, even the adults. I look forward to trying a different menu next time.

I ordered the Tragi Gozen (around 3,400 yen). Other lunch menu options include items in the 2,000 yen range, a limited-time Wagyu lunch (4,000 yen), and a special Gozen (around 6,000 yen). Some good points about this place include: 1) The tables are spaced out well, so you don't feel crowded by other diners. 2) The view is nice and open, creating a pleasant atmosphere. 3) They serve a fruit smoothie before the meal and ice cream after, which adds a special touch. It's often crowded during lunch on weekends, so I usually go after 1pm to avoid the rush. If you have the flexibility, a later visit is recommended.

I entered the Takashimaya at Futakotamagawa, my favorite yakiniku restaurant with a beautiful night view. The menu had slightly changed, but mostly remained the same as usual. I ordered Tan Shio T-cut, liver, pork belly, kalbi, diamond-cut harami, kimchi, seaweed and nori salad, cold noodles, bibimbap, and a couple more types of meat. The quality of the meat was as good as always, even if I'm not the best at grilling. I especially love the thick-cut meat with just the right amount of fat and flavor. The seaweed and nori salad with sesame oil was also delicious. I had a draft beer and a bottle of makgeolli, which had significantly increased in price. Perhaps due to the impact of the weak yen. The restaurant was surprisingly empty that day, so the dishes kept coming and I struggled to find space on the table. The staff changed the grilling net regularly, and I recently discovered disposable grilling nets, which made me realize they are not meant to be washed. It may not be eco-friendly, but it's probably better for the environment. Overall, I was satisfied knowing there was no one washing the nets while crying in the dishwashing area.

When we made a reservation for two people, we were seated at a table resembling a study space with a window, with two seats facing the window. Everyone was quietly enjoying their meal, which was nice. The meat was tender, and the Yukkejang Kuppa had a delicious taste of tail soup instead of just the regular broth. At the end of the meal, we were served complimentary ice candy, which showed their great service. From the window, we could see Tamagawa and the Tomei Expressway. We didn't drink alcohol and ate to our heart's content for just under 13,000 yen. Truly a top-notch restaurant.

You can see the rooftop garden from inside the store, so it gives a bright impression during the day, which is nice. There are many families, so it is easy to use even with young children. The lunch is cost-effective, comes with salad and soup, and you can get a free extra serving of rice, which is great. The quality of the meat is also good, with the marbling of the kalbi just right. The milk ice cream dessert was also delicious.

It's been a while since I visited Traji. After a long period of emergency situations, ugh, stupid Corona! This place doesn't smell of smoke, meaning the roaster has good ventilation, so it feels safe. The seating is spacious with a gap between tables. Even at a 6-person table, there are only 4 people seated, and the middle 2 seats are not set up. While there are no acrylic boards on the tables, they have taken solid measures. Cheers with a draft beer! We started with a kimchi assortment and Traji salad, and the beer quickly disappeared. We left the ordering and grilling to a friend. When I come with a friend who has a knack for cooking, it's so easy and fun! The meat quality is just right, not too fatty or lean, tender with a rich flavor. No gamey smell, just consistently high-quality meat. The last diamond-cut meat is impressive. We shared the bibimbap and cold noodles, which were served by the staff. The seat overlooking the rooftop garden decorated with Christmas lights is very beautiful. This is a seat you can only get with a reservation. This time, for the first time, they were out of makgeolli. The red wine we had in a bottle was a good match for the meat though. Maybe the sudden return of customers caught them off guard with the supply?

Visited before 11 am on a Sunday. There was a line, but we were able to get in on the first try. If you want to enjoy some hearty and delicious meat, Diamond Cut is the place to go. Both the Kalbi and Harami are delicious and highly recommended. The garlic flavor adds a nice touch. The thick-cut tongue for 3,000 yen is thick, tender, and tasty. This is also recommended. The lobster for 2,000 yen offers a satisfying volume and is firm and tasty. Thank you for the meal.

Toraji, a yakiniku restaurant located in Takashimaya S.C. in Futakotamagawa. There are many yakiniku restaurants in Futakotamagawa, but Toraji is a good choice because you can use Takashimaya's parking lot, do some shopping, and then enjoy a meal there. The meat quality is satisfying, with the beef tongue being particularly delicious and recommended. They have a limited menu due to their shortened operating hours, so there were no thick cuts of premium harami, which was a bit disappointing. However, they did have seared tongue and premium beef tongue, so I was still satisfied. On the day I visited, there was a rainbow visible from my seat after a heavy rain. It was faint, but there were two rainbows! The restaurant is located on the upper floors of Takashimaya, so the view is great! The rainbow had disappeared by the time the meat was served, but it added to the pleasant dining experience. The staff is polite and the service is quick!

I visited the restaurant at the opening time on a regular day and was able to enter smoothly. The Diamond Cut series here is truly delicious. This time I had the harami (skirt steak). The richness of the meat, thickness, and texture were all excellent. The garlic flavor was just right and very tasty. This is definitely their specialty, right? I also recommend the thick-cut beef tongue. It's a bit pricey at 2000 yen for 4 slices, but it's tender, thick, and full of flavor - the best. Thank you for the meal.

I had something like a "traji gozen" meal (possibly a yakiniku gozen) for around 2600 yen!!! It was super delicious!! Especially the thinly sliced tongue and kalbi were amazing! The side dishes like tofu and beef sukiyaki were also delicious, the smoothie was average! And the view is beautiful, so it's really convenient!!

We visited this restaurant for lunch with our 2-year-old child. There were other parents with strollers as well. The restaurant is popular among families. They welcomed us with our stroller. We ordered two lunch sets and shared the rice with our child. The meat was delicious, and we were very satisfied. The side dishes like soup and kimchi were also generous. It was easy to enter with a child, and the service was polite. We had a great meal.

As soon as the self-restraint was lifted, I went to a restaurant where cards saying "sanitized" were placed on every table. I felt that the place was cleaned very thoroughly, so I could eat with peace of mind. Located on the 9th floor, the restaurant has a very open feel with large windows overlooking the lower rooftop. The high ceiling adds to the sense of openness. Any meat dish you order is delicious. The beef ribs and skirt steak are recommended. For the kimchi platter, the burdock kimchi is a must-try. It's crunchy and tasty.

I visited the original thick-cut yakiniku restaurant "Toraji" for the first time in 10 years. It is located on the 9th floor of Takashimaya in Tamagawa, and Takashimaya is a 1-minute walk from Futakotamagawa Station on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line. I had the Special Toraji Set Meal (4,500 yen including tax). [Food] 1. Tan Tsukune... It was my first time trying tsukune made with tongue, and it was delicious. 2. Hira no Yudofu, Yakumi Momen Tofu, Kimchi... The salad had plenty of meat and was refreshing. The kimchi was mildly spicy. 3. Special Thick-Cut Tongue Salt... The highlight of Toraji, the thick-cut tongue, was more like a "chunk". It's a taste that tongue lovers can't resist, and you can eat as much as you want. 4. Special Harami... The harami was also a "chunk". It's a part that makes you feel like you're really eating meat, and it's a dish that makes you think "I love yakiniku". 5. Wagyu Kalbi... The fat has become a bit tough with age, but it's definitely delicious. 6. Wagyu Sirloin... It was thinly sliced, but it was my favorite along with the harami. The flavor is strong. 7.
