Visited for the first time with my wife's friend! She wanted to eat yakitori, but I ended up making a reservation at a yakiton restaurant, which is typical of me. The restaurant is located a short walk from the station and the seats may be a bit cramped, or maybe it's just because I'm big. The dishes, including sashimi, yakiton, and other items, were all very delicious! The flavors are slightly bold, more suited for men who enjoy drinking alcohol. If I were to describe it, it's like saying "I want some white rice!" Understand what I mean? Well, I think it's also fine for women! Both my wife and her friend were enjoying the delicious food! In terms of cost performance, it's decent. The quality is there, so personally, I would give it a thumbs up! The highlight for me was the kikubara (chicken neck), which you don't see often, so I was happy to have it! Also, the tsukune (chicken meatball) was exquisite in my opinion! If I were to make a request, it would be to serve it with a raw egg yolk because the sauce was so delicious that it would be heavenly! Another favorite of mine was the cream cheese with smoked cheese. This is just my personal opinion, but most places serve smoked cheese on a sliced piece of cheese, which tends to be expensive and runs out quickly when shared among multiple people, right? But at this restaurant, they finely chop the smoked cheese and mix it with cream cheese, creating a perfect balance and allowing for easy sharing, which I found to be fantastic. I thought it was a nice idea from the restaurant staff! I was so engrossed in eating that I didn't take many photos as usual, but everyone, please try this restaurant when you're in Ikebukuro! I definitely want to come back to this place! Thank you for the delicious meal today! Bon appétit!
