I visited SONOKO Cafe, which I had been curious about for a while. Located opposite Ginza Mitsukoshi, it is a beautifully designed café that evokes a sense of nature. You can make reservations through Tabelog. When I arrived, they greeted me warmly with "we've been expecting you." The service was very attentive. The dishes they serve are visually appealing and taste great. Lunch prices range from around ¥1,500. They also sell a variety of healthy food items in retort packs. The legacy of Suzuki Sonoko continues to be passed down even after her passing. It's a wonderful restaurant and café with a great concept. If you feel like having lunch in Ginza, craving delicious parfaits, or just want to have tea, I highly recommend visiting SONOKO Cafe. Thank you for the meal. #GinzaLunch #sonokocafe #RecommendedLunch

On September 16th, I celebrated my friend's birthday by having lunch. We happened to pass by Mitsukoshi and my friend exclaimed, "Oh, this place brings back memories!" I suggested checking out the cafe next to it, even though it was just before 3 pm on a busy holiday weekend. Surprisingly, we were able to get in without much wait. We ordered drinks from a series collaborated with Takahiro Esawa, who often appears on TV and radio. I chose "Hanaka" with Hibiscus and Rose, while my friend chose "Yuka" with Jasmine and Cornflower. The drinks were made by sliding ice to create a gradient, so I requested mine with ice. The drink had a nice fragrance, not too sweet as expected. We were given a full-color leaflet with explanations. When I went to the second-floor restroom, I saw a large photo of the cafe's owner with some words of wisdom. I couldn't help but take a picture. The restroom had an old-fashioned chandelier and more words of wisdom from the owner, giving a nostalgic feel. While washing my hands, I realized the faucet was not automatic, which felt a bit outdated but charming in this setting. Despite the quirky atmosphere, we had a good laugh at the register, where they accepted electronic money. Overall, it was a fun experience.

I became a cafe refugee at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and happened to find an available seat, so I decided to use it. Despite being close to Matsuya Ginza and Mitsukoshi Ginza, I was able to enter without waiting. The cafe latte was a bit pricey at 850 yen, but it came with one chocolate cookie, which was nice. The atmosphere was natural, and the store also sold organic food products. It has a cozy atmosphere that is easy for even one person to enter, making it a recommended spot for a break.

Around 1 pm, I visited the restaurant and it was almost full with some families with children. I ordered the yellow beef curry, which was the spiciest option available, but it wasn't as spicy as I had hoped. However, it had a good amount of vegetables and meat. The salad dressing had a gentle flavor, overall giving a healthy impression. They also offered pasta and onigiri, but the portion size might be a bit small for those looking for a hearty meal. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean, although it was a bit inconvenient that there was no toilet inside the restaurant.

I went for lunch! The portion was quite generous and it was good to get some vegetables! The coffee was delicious too, and surprisingly, there wasn't much of a line, so it might be a good option for lunch in Ginza! It's a bit of a walk from Yurakucho though.

I visited this restaurant for the first time to have lunch with a friend who is detoxing from additives. The interior was very stylish and clean. Most of the customers, besides us, were foreigners, which created a nice atmosphere. The salad was very fresh with just the right amount of dressing, and the staff regularly refilled our water. They accept credit cards and various payment methods. I would like to come back to try their cafe next time.

I visited during lunchtime on a holiday. It was relatively empty compared to other restaurants in the area. I ordered a Japanese-style deli plate. It included burdock root potage, fish, and a small hamburger, all in easy-to-eat portions. The hamburger was a bit tough and hard to cut with chopsticks, but it tasted refreshing with grated daikon and plum. The price was reasonable for the location, so I would like to visit again.

I had a seasonal parfait - orange and coconut parfait for 1800 yen, with a drink set it was a little over 2000 yen in total. They use sweets that are also sold in the store. It's considered healthy. I was skeptical if healthy meant not sweet or not tasty, but it was just right in sweetness and had a good amount of volume, so it was delicious. It was a weekday afternoon, and there were a few people having lunch, so I could relax. There were outlets at the counter seats too. The staff was friendly, so the atmosphere was nice. I think I'll try their lunch next time.

During a shopping break, I felt like having something sweet, but I'm on a low-carb diet. However, I love sweets. So, I visited this café. There seemed to be more foreigners and women in the café. The interior is bright and you can relax casually. There are food items (pouches, seasonings, frozen foods, drinks) displayed around, so you can look around while waiting. There were also products for sale on the second floor (I saw it when I went to the restroom on the second floor). I wanted to eat something sweet, but I was dazzled by the fresh vegetables, so I ordered the "Seasonal Color Garden Salad" first. The colorful vegetables included potatoes, green beans, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, yellow beets, steamed chicken, and walnuts. I will have it with Aurora sauce. Before eating, the staff told me to drink "kombu water to slowly raise blood sugar levels." The kombu water was easy to drink with a slight taste of kombu. I first tried each vegetable without dipping in the Aurora sauce. The steamed chicken and potatoes had a subtle saltiness and were easy to eat. I was impressed by the tenderness of the steamed chicken. And I was further impressed by the sweetness of the yellow beets and cherry tomatoes, the easy-to-eat green beans without any strong flavor, and I was able to enjoy the taste of the vegetables without the Aurora sauce until the end. It's a sign of freshness. Next is dessert. "Creme D'Anjou" is a cheesecake made with fresh cheese from Hokkaido with a strawberry sauce. It was fluffy and melted in my mouth, with the sweetness and acidity of the strawberry sauce mingling beautifully. There is also a bit of honey drizzled on top. And with raspberries and blueberries as toppings, I enjoyed the alternating sweetness and acidity, the fluffy and creamy texture, and had a lot of fun while eating. I would like to visit again when I come to Ginza next time. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The location is surprisingly great, although the cost performance is not the best! Even without eating, there is a sense of satisfaction which is nice. 【Arrival time】11:00【Entry time】11:00【Crowdedness】Starting to get a bit crowded【Other】Ordered a Japanese deli plate. Includes salad, simmered dish (not sure), mackerel, tofu hamburger, soy milk clam chowder. They don't use any salt or oil in their cooking, but the flavors are rich and satisfying. They recommended drinking the kelp water in the top left corner of the photo before eating to prevent a rapid increase in blood sugar levels. I think the volume for 1,200 yen is quite a good deal.

I tried the frozen chocolate from one of the recommended items at the store, Alivakakao. Overall, I wish that they would disclose the calorie and PFC balance for all menu items if they are going to operate with this kind of concept.

I had a 500kcal hamburger with tomato and avocado toppings at a cafe called Suzuki Sonoko. They offered a mix of Japanese and Western healthy menu items. Before eating the hamburger, they served a mysterious kombu water. I thought that a low-calorie hamburger might lack flavor in the bread and patty, but it was surprisingly satisfying. The patty was meaty and chewy, without much fat or juiciness. The inside of the bun had a generous amount of ketchup and mustard seeds, so it wasn't lacking in flavor. The bottom bun had a mysterious condiment that seemed like a low-fat version of mayonnaise. There were no extra toppings like bacon or cheese. It was quite different from gourmet hamburgers in Tokyo, which was refreshing in a good way.

I received a delipre from Sonoco Cafe. I had kombu water to slowly raise blood sugar, burdock soup, simmered dish, soft bone hamburger, sardines, rolled omelet, salad, and added side rice. Sonoco Cafe may be a bit pricey in terms of portion size, but they use healthy ingredients. Even on a weekday night, Ginza is bustling with tourists, but I think this spot is relatively peaceful and not too far from the corner of the 4th block where you can relax.

Today's sweet treat is the Strawberry Chocolat Rich Parfait from Sonoko Cafe. It features a rice flour roll with a delicious caramel cream that is not overwhelming in sweetness. The chocolate mousse has a hint of acidity, and as you dig in, you'll find raspberries adding a fresh touch. A single fresh blueberry adds a refreshing taste, while sliced strawberries and brownie provide a nice balance. Instead of whipped cream, there's a custard cream filling the gaps, and it's finished off with raspberry sauce. It's quite sweet, so mixing in the brownie earlier on might have been a good idea. Overall, it's a tasty and unique parfait that I enjoyed at the counter in rainy Ginza after oversleeping. #SweetTooth #Dessert #Sweets #Cafe #Parfait #Strawberry

The drinks are interesting with some unique options. My mother ordered a chocolate shaved ice, and at first she made a confused face after taking a bite, but in the end she said, "It's a taste that grows on you!" and enjoyed it.笑笑

I received a set meal with a harmony of flavors. The deli with what looks like onion on top of the fish (?) in the front of the photo was delicious. I also ordered rice and ended up getting really full, but I'm glad I chose the rice with a sweet taste. The staff were friendly, and I couldn't resist buying various retort pouches placed next to the cafe (lol). I plan to use them for my daughter's bento. They are easy to process with low salt and calories, which is nice.

Girls' day out lunch at Sonoko Cafe in Ginza. We started with kelp water to help control blood sugar levels, followed by a variety of body-friendly meals free from additives and unnecessary oils. I ordered the Japanese-style deli plate, which was healthy yet satisfying. A great option for a healthy lunch in Ginza. #GinzaCafe #GinzaLunch #GinzaGourmet #SonokoCafe #HealthyLunch

Located just outside the Ginza Station exit, a cafe on the first floor with excellent access, just one block east of Ginza 4-chome. It seems to be produced by Sonoko Suzuki. I stopped by for a break before dinner on Saturday night. Inside the shop, there are sofa seats along the walls, counter seats, and regular table seats, so you can sit comfortably whether you're alone, with two people, or more. Since it was late, about half of the customers were there. I thought about having something sweet, but decided to just have Pu-erh tea. It came with a kind of soba bolo. There are also smoothies and overall, the menu seems to be health-conscious. The prices are a bit high, but it's understandable given the good location. The Pu-erh tea was delicious, but I'm not familiar with the quality of Pu-erh tea, so I can't say much about it. However, the location is good and the seating is spacious, so it seems like a very good place for a break.

Located in a prime location across from Ginza Mitsukoshi, this shop has caught my attention as being somewhat organic. Under the belief of Suzuki Sonoko, a renowned beauty and cooking researcher, the shop focuses on enjoying beauty and health through pursuing healthy and beautiful food. They are particular about not using unnecessary food additives and oils, and their concept is that true beauty comes from proper eating. The menu for lunch offers a variety of dishes, all with a strong and pleasant aroma. Unfortunately, I was already full when I visited the shop. They also sell retort products in the store, which are amazing because they do not contain any food additives. They also sell various other items that caught my interest. This time, I visited to have a light tea, so I ordered their special smoothie. They make it using a blender after you order, and the fruity aroma is very nice, making it look delicious even before you drink it! Both items I tried were really gentle and you could clearly taste the flavors of the ingredients. The restroom seems to be on the second floor, and when I went up there, it seemed like a members-only salon with a completely different and lovely atmosphere. The BABY smoothie for 800 yen includes apple, orange, kiwi, pomegranate, and yuzu, while the KNIGHT smoothie for 800 yen includes pineapple, orange, grapes, blueberries, ginger juice, and lemon juice.

I missed the "Art Aquarium" in Osaka, so I went to see it at Ginza Mitsukoshi. It was beautiful and I was able to enjoy it leisurely. After that, I saw a sign for "SONOKO" and decided to have a light lunch. I ordered the Pork Curry for 1,300 yen, a set with Iced Tea for 350 yen, and a SONOKO Beer for 750 yen to take home. I also got two Dream Pudding Custards for 432 yen each. The curry was healthy with lots of vegetables and chunks of pork, very delicious. The SONOKO Beer was also enjoyed. Thank you for the meal.
