There is a pasta restaurant right near Fudomae Station. The pasta comes with salad and a drink, and I think this pasta was 1300 yen. The large portion is quite generous... (great value for money). The drink options were hot coffee, peach tea, or iced tea, I think. The peach tea was delicious! I also really liked the pasta. It was tasty. The noodles were cooked al dente!

I checked the reviews I follow and visited the restaurant after 7 pm for the first time. It is located a 1-minute walk from Fudomae Station, on the second floor of a building. Inside, there is a long counter and a few table seats in the back. There were many regular customers in the shop. There were about two groups of customers at the counter when I arrived. I ordered the Pescaatore Rosso. The subtitle said it was a fisherman-style dish with plenty of seafood. I asked for less noodles. The wife quickly took my order to her husband, and it was served in about 8 minutes. The Pescaatore was tomato-based and quite oily. I learned about the difference between Rosso and Bianco. As it was a fisherman-style dish, it had plenty of seafood, including fish bones and snow crabs. There were also various shellfish, and the portion was huge. It felt like a shop rooted in the local community. Thank you for the meal.

This place has been a regular spot for me for a while now. They serve overwhelmingly delicious spaghetti. The signature dish is the Bolognese, but all the other spaghetti options are also tasty. The staff are warm and friendly, often engaging in lively conversations with regular customers. It's a perfect spot for a casual lunch.

I went to the spaghetti specialty restaurant, Spaghettteria Piano Piano in Fudomae. I visited during lunchtime, and the cafe-like interior was packed! I thought that this place must have been loved by locals for many years. I ordered the bacon tomato pasta with creamy mushrooms, and it was delicious as the flavors mixed together. The al dente thin noodles paired well with the tomato sauce and mushroom cream! They had a wide variety of pasta dishes, so maybe next time I'll try an oil-based one... Thank you for the meal!

I had lunch at the relatively old spaghetti specialty restaurant "Piano Piano" in Fudomae. Located on a crank road towards Kamurozaka from the station, the restaurant is on the second floor with a large counter on the left, kitchen at the back, and table seating on the right. I arrived at 11:45 AM and was the first customer. Overheard the staff saying, "It's quiet today." The menu offered three types of spaghetti with tomato sauce, white wine base, and cream sauce, as well as three lunch specials, risotto, and gnocchi ranging from 1100 yen to 1600 yen. I chose the popular "Beetoma" which is bacon in tomato sauce and mushrooms in cream sauce for 1100 yen with an extra 150 yen for a large portion. As I enjoyed the shredded cabbage salad, more customers arrived and the place became lively with about 10 people. The spaghetti arrived in about 6 minutes, served on a large plate with a generous portion. The tomato sauce was light and tangy, topped with mushrooms and cream sauce, creating a delicious tomato cream flavor. The pasta was cooked quite firm, giving it a chewy texture. It seemed to be "De Cecco Spaghettini" No.11 dry pasta cooked for only 5-6 minutes and mixed with the sauce in a pan. While many places prefer slightly softer pasta nowadays, this restaurant sticks to the traditional al dente style. The firm pasta paired well with the bacon tomato sauce and cream sauce, providing a satisfying meal with the large portion. However, it was disappointing that there were no condiments on the table, and even items like Calabrian chili flakes for 50 yen or cheese for 100 yen were charged separately. It would have been nice to have at least pepper available. I relaxed with a coffee after the meal, enjoying the well-prepared and tasty spaghetti. The restaurant seemed popular among regulars, and although slightly on the expensive side, the drink included with the meal made it reasonable. If you enjoy hearty spaghetti dishes, you'll likely enjoy this place.

Yos-san and I enjoyed a classic Beethoven piece together after a long time at the piano. It was so delicious as always, and I was so happy (* ̄▽ ̄*). Unexpectedly, I received some lovely sweets for my second daughter's graduation and entrance celebration. It was a delightful lunchtime (^○^)

There was a report that Japan had the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in the world on a weekly average. Japan's COVID-19 response is based on the concept of "living with the virus" rather than achieving zero cases like China. However, with the current surge in cases, there may be a shift towards stricter measures. It is important to note that new variants like BA.5 of the Omicron strain are contributing to the spread of the virus. In this challenging situation, some are reducing telework, but I personally choose to increase telework in response to the surge in cases. On this day, I decided to have lunch at a local Italian restaurant in the Fudomae area. The restaurant is run by a couple and has been in business for around 13 years. Due to the impact of COVID-19, they are operating with limited menu options. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the restaurant continues to provide delicious food.

In June and July, I heard that K is about to graduate, so we went to Beethoven together after a long time. The taste hasn't changed and it's still delicious. We talked about old times and before we knew it, we finished everything, haha. We've become middle-aged ladies, but we'll continue to prioritize our health from now on. Let's take care of ourselves! \(^o^)/

I went to my favorite Italian restaurant with Y, who will be leaving this weekend. We ended up having a belated lunch due to my lateness, but the pasta we ordered was delicious! The tomato cream sauce was perfect, with plenty of mushrooms and bacon. It was a satisfying meal. I wish Y all the best in their future endeavors!

On this day, I entrusted the care of my child, who had a fever, to my relatives and went out for lunch in turns. It was late today. The restaurant was on the second floor. When I opened the door, there was a counter lined up and tables in the back. As a solo customer, I was seated at the counter. The atmosphere inside the cafe was cozy, and it seemed like a family-run business with the husband, who looked like a Western cuisine chef, and the unique mother. Two young men were handling the service in the hall. Around 12:30 on a weekday, the counter was full, and more and more people kept coming in. I ordered the "Bottarga and Salted Salmon Spaghetti" (1,300 yen), also known as "Bottarga". It came with a salad and a drink. I chose oolong tea for my drink. The salad was just a simple cabbage salad with dressing. The pasta arrived surprisingly quickly. The spaghetti was cooked quite firm. It had a crunchy texture, and by the time I finished eating, I had gotten used to it, but I was a little surprised at how firm it was at first. The "Bottarga and Salted Salmon Spaghetti" was a simple oil-based pasta with bottarga, salmon, and greens. It had a slightly spicy flavor, and the sauce was delicious without any issues. The salmon didn't have an overpowering salty taste, and the combination of the salmon's flavor and the bottarga was as delicious as I had expected. Next time, I would like to try the most popular dish, the "Beetma" (Bacon Tomato Sauce and Mushroom Cream), which many customers were ordering.

I visited for lunch and had the tomato pasta with snow crab. The portion was generous. The tomato sauce was light and the pasta was cooked perfectly (although I personally prefer it a bit firmer). The atmosphere was like a classic coffee shop, and it's popular among locals. They also accept cashless payments.

For lunch at work, I decided to go to Piano Piano. Even though I thought I came here occasionally, I realized it had been about a year since my last visit, which was in December 2018. I ordered the Montagna, a pasta dish with shimeji mushrooms and bacon in a white wine sauce. The pasta looked light but had a rich flavor, especially since I ordered the large portion. It was cooked al dente, with a slightly firm texture that became just right as I ate. The dish had a nice balance of white wine flavor, garlic, and a hint of spiciness from the chili peppers. After finishing the pasta, there was some sauce left in the plate, making me crave for some bread to soak it up. The price was a bit over 1,000 yen, which is a bit on the higher side for me, but considering how delicious it was, I should make an effort to come here more often. Thank you for the meal.

When I used to work in the Gotanda area and visited a pasta restaurant a few times, I always ordered the most popular dish: Bacon Tomato Sauce with Kinoko Cream. This time, I was tempted by the winter limited edition dish: Cream Sauce with Oysters and Spinach in a large portion. The lunch set started with a mini salad and a drink. The salad was small with just cabbage and lettuce, and the dressing was light. The pasta was a normal size of 150g, but I opted for the large portion for an extra 150 yen, which was 200g with the same amount of oysters. The plump oysters were delicious, but the cream sauce was a bit bland and lacked enough oysters, making me feel a bit unsatisfied. I regretted not ordering the most popular pasta. However, the neighboring table's order of a white wine-based pirate-style pasta with plenty of shrimp, squid, and clams looked very delicious. If I have the chance to visit again, I would like to try the pirate-style pasta.

After several years, I visited for lunch. Today, I went with my second grader son. I ordered Pomodoro and Carbonara, which my son can eat. The mother asked if the normal size was okay. It's fine. I know. This place serves large portions. I chose the normal size considering that my son might not finish it. The large size next to me was huge. I'm glad I stuck with the normal size. Both the Pomodoro and Carbonara had perfectly al dente noodles. I won't go into the taste, as it's impossible for it to be bad. In a sea of restaurants where the portions are too small and unsatisfying, this place is a gem where even men can leave with a full stomach. When dining alone, opting for the large size increases satisfaction. Thank you for the meal.

For lunch, I headed to Fudomae. I couldn't decide what to eat, but then I saw the menu at pianopiano and decided on pasta! I went up the stairs to the second floor of the building. Inside, it felt like a husband and wife were running the place. The wife showed me to my seat and I placed my order. I chose the tomato pasta with crab and carbonara. The salad that came with the lunch was simple, just shredded cabbage and lettuce. The tomato pasta was light and refreshing, while the carbonara was rich. The portions were huge and very satisfying! There were so many options on the menu, I would love to go back again. The restaurant quickly filled up while I was eating, and there were even customers waiting!

I occasionally use this restaurant. It is my uncle's favorite place. This place has been frequented by regular customers since it was located near Otori Shrine in Meguro before moving to Nishi-Gotanda. The owner, a friendly and funny lady, is like a mother figure at the restaurant.

It's a cozy family-friendly restaurant. The menu offers a wide variety of pasta dishes, as well as appetizers, salads, and mains. We started with the appetizer platter (handwritten) for 1000 yen, which seemed like a good deal. It included tomato-stewed local chicken, smoked sea bream, and prosciutto. The tomato-stewed chicken was delicious and comforting. Then we ordered the spicy octopus dish. It felt like eating raw octopus with salt, which was not to my liking as I prefer the Galician-style octopus from Spain. Lastly, we had the seafood pasta. It was a generous portion with a tasty tomato sauce infused with the flavors of the sea. However, the pasta was too al dente for my liking. The father's recommended wine for 3000 yen was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Piano Piano with my colleagues for a work lunch. We arrived around 12:30pm to avoid the usual line that forms after 12pm. The restaurant was about 80% full, so we were seated right away. I usually order the popular bacon tomato sauce and mushroom cream pasta, but this time I tried the recommended oyster and spinach cream pasta for lunch. I also chose a peach iced tea for my drink. The salad arrived first with dressing already on it, so I added some pepper before eating. Then the spaghetti arrived. I tried the pasta and sauce first since it was a new dish for me. The cream sauce was sweet and paired well with the salty noodles. The spinach added a nice crunch and flavor. The oysters were plump and flavorful, definitely worth the price of 1,550 yen! They were not shriveled like dried grapes, but delicious oysters. The whole dish had a rich flavor and I was very satisfied. The peach iced tea was just the right amount of sweetness to cleanse the palate. While Piano Piano's lunch prices are a bit high, the delicious food definitely boosts motivation for work. Treat yourself to a rewarding meal like this. Thank you for the meal.
