A new izakaya near Asakusa Rokku (right next to TX Asakusa Station) opened in February. The interior is open and quite clean. They offer a variety of dishes centered around tempura, as well as small dishes like oden. They also have menu items with world-famous delicacies such as caviar, foie gras, and truffles. The complimentary appetizer is grated daikon with a heap of shirasu for only around 200 yen. The tempura dishes vary in price, with many options priced under 100 yen, making it quite reasonable. The tempura is fried after ordering, making each piece satisfying. They have a wide selection of drinks including sake and wine, but I personally recommend "Hiyori-ki"! It comes in plain and lemon flavors with an alcohol content of 7%, so finishing a bottle can make you quite tipsy. The bald and intimidating-looking manager is actually a very nice person with a big gap in his image. The staff are all lively and work hard, creating a great atmosphere in the whole restaurant. Overall, it's a wonderful place where you can enjoy good food and drinks at a reasonable price.

Recommended by a friend who lives in Asakusa, I went to this restaurant with a friend who commutes from Tsukuba City to Tokyo. The casual atmosphere, cost performance, and uniqueness were outstanding. It's a place where you can casually come alone, and the food is original, delicious, and affordable. The selection of drinks is not extensive, but they had my favorite choices. It would be nice if they stayed open a bit later, but I guess that's how it is in the downtown area. My friend was happy because the Tsukuba Express station is right below the restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

This is a branch of a popular bar in Shibuya located in Asakusa. The main dishes here seem to be tempura. You can choose your own wine, which seems fun! Especially delicious were the marinated avocado and chilled tomato basil! The marinated avocado was tasty, not sure what it was marinated in though. The tempura was decent in taste, nothing outstanding, but the portions were generous. I also ordered the kampyo roll, but I don't think olive oil and salt go well together. Personally, I think ordering snacks with drinks rather than tempura would be the best use of this place! It's clean and tidy, so it would appeal to women as well.
Items Ordered:
- Whitebait with grated daikon (complimentary)
- Marinated raw fish (this time it was horse mackerel)
- Marinated avocado
- Deep-fried soft bone of chicken
- Plum cheese with shiso tempura
- Deep-fried gizzard
- Tempura of conger eel
- Tempura of daikon radish
- Chilled tomato basil
- Kampyo roll
- Deep-fried chicken thigh

On this day, I visited Asakusa. I finally got the chance to visit "Nomiyashiki 209" that I had been curious about for a while. I had tried to go a few times before but couldn't make it in, so I was finally able to visit on my third attempt! When I sat down, the staff kindly explained everything to me. I started with a Sapporo Lager bottled beer. The appetizer was grated daikon radish topped with shirasu from Ehime Prefecture. The shirasu is placed in front of you, which looks delicious. And the grated daikon radish is all-you-can-eat. The specialty of the shop is tempura and deep-fried dishes, which makes sense. You can enjoy the daikon radish with the provided seaweed salt or soy sauce. Other dishes I tried include: - Namero of Honarara (this day was horse mackerel) - Spring chrysanthemum bomb (no bomb feeling, but very delicious) - Smoked edamame (surprisingly delicious and perfect as a side dish) - Tempura (zucchini, baby corn, myoga, garlic sprouts, lotus root, etc.) - Deep-fried (soft bone of chicken) - Enoki mushroom changja, and more. You can choose wine and sake from the showcase, but I forgot to ask if they offer it by the glass... I will inquire about it next time! Thank you for the meal! I will visit again!

Today, I visited a recently opened izakaya called "Nomiyashiki 209". They always play music by Koji Kikkawa at a high volume, so I thought it was an interesting place. Today, I went in with two other people. They said they had stopped taking orders for grilled dishes, so we decided to order all the appetizers instead. Each appetizer had a special touch and was delicious, but the seared mackerel was exceptional. We will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

A famous Shibuya restaurant has opened in Asakusa! After eating Genghis Khan, I decided to check it out. It was the day before my medical check-up, so I couldn't drink much. I want to try their stylish natural wine next time! I started with an interesting "odd or even" highball. I ended up with a mega highball, which was quite amusing. They also have large bottles of Malt beer, which is nice. The appetizer was grated radish with whitebait, which was so delicious that I could eat it all day. The chicken tempura came wrapped in McDonald's wrapping paper, which was quite amusing!

Shibuya's power spot 209 has finally opened in Asakusa! In Shibuya, there are three shops - Asian Bar 209, 209 Stand, and Drinking Spot 209, which I often visit. The tempura with delicious daikon is a must-try! Also, the pistachio ice cream and baked banana dessert are amazing! The drinks are also delicious, and the lively atmosphere in Asakusa matches perfectly. The staff are bright, cheerful, and create a great atmosphere. I definitely want to go back again! Thank you for the meal!

Here we are again, at Nomiya Shiki 209. The wine-pickled rakkyo is so delicious that I could eat it endlessly. Please allow takeout next time (lol). Thank you for the feast! #GenghisKhanKirishima #NomiyaShiki209 #Asakusa #AsakusaGourmet #SakeLover

Asakusa Don Quijote Soba, a few seconds' walk from TX Asakusa Station. Tempura izakaya. The specialty is daikon. Looks like McDonald's but it's daikon. Another specialty is potato salad. Looks like Baskin-Robbins but it's potato salad. Well, it's all about the appearance. The best way to use this shop as a second place is to bring a 1L bottle of High Liqueur and drink it. It's the best cost performance.

I went to "Nomiyashiki 209" which opened on the first floor of Genghis Khan Kirishima Asakusa store, where the menu is plentiful and I wanted to try everything, but I couldn't eat that much so I asked for recommendations. The Chohan Highball was fun. Thank you for the meal! #Nomiyashiki209 #Asakusa #AsakusaGourmet #SakeLover #WantToConnectWithSakeLovers

I visited "Nomiyashiki 209" located just about 10 steps from the exit of Tsukuba Express Asakusa Station. It's great to see a popular restaurant from Shibuya also opening in Asakusa. The main dish here is tempura, freshly fried and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend the daikon tempura! The daikon is marinated before being fried, so it's delicious even without any dipping sauce. The seafood tempura is also recommended, with the prawns being plump and juicy. The drink menu is extensive, and besides the menu options, you can also choose sake and wine from the fridge. They also serve oden, so it would be nice to have oden and sake during the cold season. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. I might come back with a group of friends next time. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The tempura of daikon radish and the squid noodles with its innards were delicious. However, one disappointing point was that even though I had made a reservation online and mentioned it, I was still seated at the counter without confirmation. I had chosen a table when making the reservation online, so I thought it was meaningless.

The daikon tempura and fried horse mackerel at the oden place were amazing! I was disappointed that they didn't have yuba and blue cheese, but I want to go back again!

Order: Honnyarara Name-rou (this day was horse mackerel) tempura (squid, eggplant, daikon radish, lotus root) deep-fried (chicken thigh, pork belly) etc.
Food and drink evaluation: Honnyarara Name-rou: Name-rou with a good amount of salt. It goes well with alcohol, but there was a slight fishy smell. Tempura (squid, eggplant, daikon radish, lotus root): All freshly fried and very delicious. The daikon radish was interesting as it was tempura-fried, which I had never tried before. Deep-fried (chicken thigh, pork belly): The chicken thigh had some tendons left and the texture was not great. The pork belly was nothing special. Highball: Strong whiskey flavor, rich taste. Quite good. Overall, the quality of ingredients and careful cooking is not outstanding, but considering the price, it is sufficient. Also, the creative presentation of the dishes makes it interesting from that perspective.
Evaluation of the restaurant ambiance and service: The restaurant is relatively new and clean. The interior also has a slight retro feel, which I personally like. The service is good and likable.
Revisit: Considering the price, the cost performance is high, and I would like to visit again.
