On a regular Tuesday, I took a limousine bus to Haneda Airport. Since I still had some time before my flight, I decided to have an early lunch. I visited "Uchi no Tamago Chokubaisho Haneda Airport Store" located on the B1F of the Terminal 1 building. This restaurant specializes in dishes like "tamago kake gohan" (rice with raw egg), "tamago don" (rice bowl with egg), and "oyako don" (chicken and egg bowl) using high-quality eggs from Kyushu. The restaurant is operated by JR Kyushu Food Service Co., Ltd., a part of the JR Kyushu Group's food service business. I quickly ordered the following:
- Tamago Kake Gohan (rice with raw egg) for 590 yen
- Ariake Seaweed Miso Soup for 110 yen
The food was served in about 2 minutes. The Tamago Kake Gohan included two servings of rice, two raw eggs, two side dishes, and pickles. The eggs used were the premium eggs from Uchi no Tamago, raised at the Uchino Farm operated by JR Kyushu Farm Co., Ltd. The pale yellow yolk had a natural color due to the natural feed ingredients like underground water and corn. Soy sauce options from Hamada Shoyu in Kumamoto and Miyajima Shoyu in Karatsu were available on the table for seasoning. I chose a regular serving of rice, but later asked for a larger portion. The slightly soft rice became just right with the addition of the egg, providing a nice texture with each bite. Both soy sauces complemented the eggs without overpowering their flavor. The side dishes of okaka (bonito flakes) and simmered kelp added a luxurious touch to the meal. The Ariake Seaweed Miso Soup was a great choice, with plenty of seaweed and the aroma of the Ariake Sea. It was a delightful meal.

I arrived at Haneda Airport Terminal 1 station and headed towards the airport, passing by a crowded, intriguing restaurant. Although the egg rice caught my eye, I opted for the chicken and egg bowl this time since I was quite hungry. The egg was perfectly half-cooked and the broth was flavorful. However, I found the taste a bit strong, so I recommend getting the large portion instead of the regular one.

Today, I arrived at Haneda Airport without having a proper meal. With limited time before my flight, I was drawn to Akasaka Umaya Uchi no Tamago Chokubaijo Haneda Airport store. I had tamago kake gohan for 650 yen, which included rice and a fresh egg with the option for one refill. They also offered various side dishes like pickles and bonito flakes, allowing me to enjoy different flavors without getting bored. The eggs were delicious and fresh. It was a satisfying meal that filled me up nicely. #AkasakaUmaya #UchinotamagoChokubaijo #HanedaAirport #Tamagokakegohan #Eggstore #Pickles #Refill #Affordable #Satisfying #HanedaAirportGourmet #HanedaAirportTerminal1

I had a flight at Haneda Airport and had breakfast here that I had researched in advance. I arrived 2 hours early, checked in, and dropped off my luggage. It wasn't written on the airport sign, but it was right near the monorail station. Since it was a weekday, I got in within 5 minutes. (When I returned home and checked the store on Saturday, there were about 5 groups waiting in line.) I ordered at the machine in advance, choosing the menu and the amount of rice. The egg over rice was around 600 yen. It was cheap. I chose a smaller portion of rice. As soon as I sat down, the food arrived. I picked one egg at my table. There were 2 types of soy sauce. The rice was fluffy. The egg was slightly sweet and delicious. It might not be enough for those who want a substantial meal, but it was the perfect amount for me, who doesn't usually eat breakfast!

From this day on, I headed to Fukuoka. I started my day with breakfast at Uchi no Tamago-san. I don't usually use the first terminal, so I don't come here often, but somehow foreign language-compatible ticket machines have been installed. However, the credit card authentication process takes a really long time. While the instructions are available in several languages including English, the process from card reading to authentication is in Japanese, so it can be confusing for foreigners who don't understand the system. They might not know when to remove the card and get flustered. It really took about a minute for the authentication to go through. When it was my turn, I purchased my meal ticket and lined up. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I entered the restaurant. I ordered a Tamago-don with less rice, not a Oyako-don. Previously, they used to say "Please take one egg" and they added another egg on top of the donburi, but it seems like they don't do that anymore. It was around 110 yen per egg. It's not expensive, but the price has gone up and if eggs are now charged separately, the overall price increase is quite significant. The Tamago-don used to be 570 yen, but now it's 700 yen plus 100 yen for the egg, totaling 800 yen! That's over a 40% increase, quite a big jump. It used to be nice to be able to casually eat at Haneda Airport, but with this price increase, it's almost like McDonald's. Thank you for the meal.

I was invited by a friend who moved to Tokyo together to have breakfast here. Although there was a decent line in the morning, we were able to enter quite smoothly as they had a fast turnover. I chose the ochazuke set from the three menu options. It looked beautiful and I was able to enjoy a hearty meal of my favorite Japanese cuisine. Next time, I would like to try the okayu set.

The flight was early, so I decided to cancel breakfast at the hotel and have breakfast at Haneda Airport instead. I remembered there was an egg restaurant, so I went in. The menu was simple with options like egg over rice, egg bowl, and chicken and egg bowl. I intended to order egg over rice using the touch panel vending machine, but the chicken and egg bowl looked delicious, so I chose that instead. The dish arrived quickly and looked good. However, when I took a bite, the egg was tasty but something was missing. It was quite soupy, maybe to bring out the flavor of the egg. I thought maybe I should have just gone with the simple egg over rice. I might have set my expectations too high. Nevertheless, it was still delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I found a small restaurant at the airport where I could quickly eat. The place had about 7 seats and the turnover was fast. The menu had three options: egg over rice, tamago-don, and oyako-don, so I chose the oyako-don. The chicken was tasty, but the eggs were even better. The sauce was sweet, which I liked. It was a lucky find to be able to eat a delicious oyako-don quickly. After finishing, I added rice and eggs for an additional 200 yen, so I also got to taste the egg over rice. Personally, I prefer the oyako-don. I also have a YouTube channel where I share Moroccan cuisine recipes. You can search for "世界の料理をご自宅で モロッコ" to find it.

I had oyakodon. Oyakodon doesn't come with an extra egg, so if you want extra egg, make sure to order it. Oyakodon is fluffy and more on the soupy side. If you like it firm, it might be a bit different. It feels like it's made with good eggs. I would like to visit again when I come to Haneda.

I arrived at the restaurant around 5:00 PM after a business trip. The place was about 70% full. I bought a ticket, ordered a tamago kake gohan, and in just one minute, the hot rice arrived. I was told I could have a refill and that the dish came with two eggs. The yolks of the eggs were a beautiful orange color. I cracked the eggs directly onto the rice, poured on the special soy sauce, and mixed it all together. The gentle saltiness of the soy sauce and the dashi broth enhanced the sweetness of the eggs and rice, making it delicious. For the first serving, I enjoyed the tamago kake gohan without the pickles or sprinkled katsuobushi. For the second serving, I added the pickles and katsuobushi. The pickles had a gentle sweet and sour taste, while the katsuobushi added a burst of umami flavor that complemented the sweetness of the tamago kake gohan. I finished it all in no time. It was incredibly delicious.

Visited on Friday at 12 o'clock. There were a few people waiting, but I was seated fairly quickly. Ordered the "Oyako-don" with extra meat for 1100 yen. The dish arrived 10 minutes later. It had a well-balanced flavor as an Oyako-don. There could be some room for improvement in differentiating the meat, but I hope they maintain this cost performance.

This is a shop located on B1F of Haneda Airport Terminal 1, on the way to the Keikyu Line station. Their breakfast set until 10 am includes rice, one egg, and seaweed miso soup for 500 yen + tax, which is a reasonable price within the airport. There is often a long line at this shop. First, you purchase a ticket at the vending machine. You can choose the size of the rice. Then, you line up to get your food. At this shop, you serve yourself the egg and pickles. There were two types of pickles and soy sauce available.

Haneda Airport Terminal 1 B1F "Uchinotamago" for breakfast. As the name suggests, this is an egg specialty shop. They serve morning sets from 7 am, so it's a staple for breakfast when traveling with JAL. The breakfast set includes white rice, one egg, seaweed miso soup, and it's simple but quite delicious. There are two types of pickles on the table, so it's easy to finish in no time. It's quite popular and there is often a line in the morning, so it's recommended to go with plenty of time before your trip.

I usually don't come to Haneda Terminal 1, but I had some time before my flight so I took a bus from Terminal 2 to get here. Breakfast options are better at Terminal 1. I arrived at 7:10, but there were already over 10 people waiting! I gave up quickly and tried to go to Hitoshinaya on the departure floor, but there were over 20 people waiting there too! I was about to go back to Terminal 2, but there were only 3 people waiting there. So, I decided to wait. I ordered the morning set meal at the ticket machine. There are no other options for breakfast. The morning set meal costs ¥550! That's a great deal at Haneda Airport. The lunchtime oyakodon set meal costs ¥650, so you can have up to 2 eggs, but the morning set meal only comes with 1 egg. It's just right for a light breakfast. It includes egg, rice, miso soup, and pickles. It's simple but a delicious breakfast. By the way, the egg bowl is also very tasty, so I recommend it for other times of the day. For some reason, the egg bowl tastes better than the oyakodon with chicken. It feels like the chicken is getting in the way of the delicious egg.

This place has been in operation for a long time, and I think its location right by the Keikyu and Monorail stations, as well as its affordable prices under 1,000 yen, are excellent. It's perfect for a quick meal before getting on or off the train. I don't want something too expensive, but since it's an airport, there aren't any super cheap options... ⇒ A quick and simple dish of tamago kake gohan. There is a demand for it. Tamago kake gohan is 650 yen, with up to 2 servings of rice and 2 eggs. Add some miso soup with seaweed for 760 yen. The taste is also impressive, as expected from a place that focuses on quality. The rice, eggs, and miso soup are all delicious. The shop is small, but it's amazing how they manage to run a successful business.

Located at Haneda Airport Terminal 1, Uchino Tamago is a convenient spot right after getting off the Keikyu train. As you go up the escalator, you'll see it on your right. It can get crowded during breakfast and lunch hours, but it's great for a quick solo meal. The touchscreen ordering system can be a bit confusing, so there's room for improvement there. Many foreign visitors may not be familiar with tamago kake gohan, so the staff might seem a bit puzzled. Personally, I love it and always go for seconds. The egg and rice are free for refills, and the pickles on the side are a perfect accompaniment. Even when in a rush at Haneda Airport, the tamago kake gohan comes out quickly, allowing me to eat and go. Highly recommended!

This is a restaurant at Haneda Airport Terminal 1 that serves tamago kake gohan (rice with raw egg). It was my nth visit. This time, I chose the morning set, which includes the classic tamago kake gohan without any refills. The eggs are always fresh, and the soy sauce I chose, which is slightly sweet, pairs well with it. Thank you for the meal. I will come again.

The parent and child bowl at the egg over rice restaurant in the first terminal basement of Haneda Airport. I went with high expectations, but it was more like egg over rice with a parent and child bowl on top, lacking the creamy texture of the egg. As a fan of parent and child bowls, I was not impressed. Despite the fact that only half of the restaurant was occupied, I waited outside for over 20 minutes. It felt like a half-hearted meal before my flight. The portion size was also lacking, as shown in the photo.

I usually prefer ANA, but sometimes I stop by here when flying JAL. It had been a while since my last visit, and I noticed that they have switched to food tickets and no longer offer a free egg with the parent and child bowl. The prices have also gone up, but considering the high cost of eggs, it's understandable. The food is still delicious. I always intend to try the egg on top next time, but since I don't come here often, I end up ordering the parent and child bowl again. They also have two types of dashi soy sauce, so I'll try that next time for sure.

I always stop by before departure. It had been a while since I last visited, and they have changed to a style where you purchase meal tickets in advance and then line up. There was quite a long line. The breakfast set is around 500 yen if you go early. The eggs and rice are delicious, and you can eat quickly. You can also get seconds of rice and miso soup. Thank you for the meal. Thank you very much.

Arrived at the restaurant around 8:30 on Sunday. Waited for about 3 people and entered the restaurant in about 5 minutes. Ordered the breakfast set. Nothing particularly noteworthy, but the TKG (Tamago Kake Gohan) for breakfast is a delight. Despite the limited time, it can be eaten quickly, which is appreciated given the generally higher prices of airport restaurants. While the price range is pleasing, I can't help but think that it's a bit expensive for TKG. Personally, I think the dashi soy sauce here is exquisite. Highly recommended for takeout.
