When I go to Tokyo, I always try to visit Lawson Store and Seijo Ishii. I bought some steamed buns in the summer, but it seems like they have been replaced with different products now, so I had a hard time deciding what to get. I ended up choosing a variety of onigiri that I've always wanted to try! ・Kakiage Onigiri I had this at Narita Airport in the middle of the night, and I thought it would be too salty, but surprisingly, the balance with the rice was good. And it's only 108 yen, which is a good deal compared to onigiri shops that would charge around 300 yen. ・Kusa Daifuku The mochi was very soft and chewy, almost like gyuhi! The red bean was large and delicious. Lawson Store really excels in traditional Japanese sweets. ・White Taiyaki It's a bit more expensive than regular convenience stores, but maybe the cream filling is a bit less. However, the taste is just as good as other convenience stores! ・Potato Salad and Macaroni Salad Aren't these 108 yen each a good deal?! The potato salad had less mayo, while the macaroni salad had more mayo. They seemed like something you would find at a supermarket deli! Even if you buy all of these, you'll still get change back from a 500 yen coin. They even had a large matcha latte (which would probably cost around 200 yen at a convenience store), so I thought Lawson Store was great!

Walking from Tsukiji Station towards the Sumida River, you will find a Lawson convenience store. Most of the items are priced at 100 yen (excluding tax), but there are also discounted items depending on the time of day, which is nice. I made yakiniku stir-fry using the moyashi mix, yakiniku sauce, meat, and eggs, all of which are sold at Lawson 100. The quality of the meat is not that great, but the eggs are a good deal at 91 yen (excluding tax) for 6 eggs. The sauce is on the sweeter side but quite strong, so be careful not to use too much. However, the rice goes well with the dish.

Lawson Store 100 in Tsukiji 7-chome. After wandering around Tsukiji and having a few drinks, I decided to stop by to buy some snacks before heading back home to continue drinking. There were plenty of affordable items priced at 100 yen, but overall it felt reasonably priced. Since it was late, the bento corner didn't have many appealing options. I ended up buying pistachios, smoked cheese, dried firefly squid, omelette, and pickled vegetables. I thought I might get some alcohol and oden from Seven-Eleven instead. Not food-related, but they were selling vinyl umbrellas for 100 yen. Such a great deal!
