Ordered a double scoop of ice cream - jasmine flavor and pistachio flavor. Both were rich and delicious. The jasmine flavor was floral and refreshing, while the pistachio flavor was creamy with a distinct nutty taste. Although a bit pricey, it's worth it as an occasional treat.

*Tomato & Mozzarella Hot Sandwich with Fresh Vegetables* Today I was planning to fast, but the heat was unbearable, so I made an excuse to myself and decided to have a hot latte at Sarutahiko ☕︎ to at least not overheat. Sarutahiko in Sengawa has a lot of seating, so even though it looked full, surprisingly I was able to find a seat quickly. The high ceiling in the atelier-style cafe creates a great sense of openness. As someone who enjoys their alone time, this place is perfect for me to relax. The hot sandwich had zucchini and tasted like ratatouille. I chose a mild latte (with extra milk) and it had a unique aroma that was hard to describe lingering in the aftertaste. I wonder if the coffee here has a distinctive feature? I don't dislike it, so I'll definitely try it again (I might actually like it, haha).

The atmosphere is really calming, and the drinks are delicious, so I like it. Most people here are studying or working. The drinks are a bit expensive, but the portion size is good and they taste great. I recommend trying the cocoa and hojicha latte, they are especially delicious!

Morning Iced Coffee: Ebisu City (¥350) No.1 popular Milk au France (¥330) → Homemade butter with Calpis is like a frankfurter with a perfect texture that becomes addictive the more you eat (this is my 3rd time). After yesterday's rainy sky, today is a refreshing morning for coffee ☕️. My favorite morning breakfast log with a score of 3.19 points ===========

5/23/18 First visit with my wife to do some shopping in Sengawa. On our way back, we decided to stop by here for a drink. This time, I ordered the "Cold Brew Iced Coffee" (460 yen) and my wife got the "Drip Coffee" (450 yen) which was served quickly. While my wife was ordering and paying on the 1st floor, I went up to the 2nd floor to save a seat. The coffee was served in paper cups, which seems to be a common sight in chain stores these days. I guess it's efficient since there's no need to wash cups, but it somehow feels a bit disappointing. I wonder which is better for the environment, washing cups or throwing away paper cups? The hot drip coffee my wife had was light and refreshing, while my cold brew iced coffee had a fruity and vibrant taste. The 2nd floor here has a nice open atmosphere with high ceilings, making it a comfortable place to relax. There was a note on the table advising customers to vacate their seats after about 2 hours during busy times. Normally, I wouldn't stay that long, but I could see myself lingering here (*^_^*)

Not just coffee, but also a variety of bread options available. I was drawn to the words "Porcini mushrooms" and ordered a hot sandwich. ◇Café Latte◇Hot Sandwich with Porcini aroma and creamy white sauce. The café latte was consistent. The hint of Porcini was subtle, and the white sauce was comforting. The second-floor seating was almost full, with more spacious seating on the first floor. A relaxed atmosphere where you can unwind.

A cafe located about a 3-minute walk from Sengawa Station. Surprisingly, I don't visit this cafe chain very often. I ordered a honey latte. It was sweet but delicious. I feel like the drink I had here before wasn't very good, but this one is good. They brought me some ice cream as a service around 9 p.m. It was probably going to be thrown away, but I was happy to receive it. It was pistachio flavor. Sweet, right?

I love the exterior of the Seta Coffee shop in various locations. I had some work to do that day, so I also ordered a pudding. I enjoyed a sweet chamomile latte and a slightly bitter hard pudding slowly, taking my time. It was a fulfilling moment.

If you proceed straight from Sengawa Station, you will find a shop about a 1-minute walk away. Inside the shop, there is a bread sales area on the left and a counter on the right. There are seats at the back of the counter. I had the following: - Toast with Calpis butter for 400 yen - Soy latte for 650 yen The toast is thickly sliced with a cross-cut on the surface. The surface is nicely browned, making it look delicious. The surface is crispy while the inside is soft, with the taste of wheat flour spreading as you chew and a subtle sweetness afterwards. When you soak it generously with Calpis butter and thoroughly mix the butter and bread, it is truly heavenly. It's simple but butter toast is delicious!

I visited Sarutahiko Coffee in Sengawa after a long time. This cafe, located just a 1-minute walk from Sengawa Station, is always popular and usually crowded. However, when I visited in the evening, it was a bit of a hidden gem and I was able to sit down right away without waiting. The cafe is a two-story building with a roasting machine on the second floor. There are about 30 seats inside, as well as terrace seating. This time, I had tea on the terrace. - Homemade Pudding ¥460 When I looked at the menu, I saw a new dessert that I had never seen before. Sarutahiko Coffee had introduced homemade pudding. I had to try it, so I ordered it. The pudding, served on a silver plate, was square-shaped with a firm yet jiggly texture, and the caramel was soaked in nicely. It had a good egg flavor with a moderate level of sweetness, which I liked. By the way, you can also enjoy the pudding at their Harajuku and Chofu stores. - Halloween Blend ¥600 I paired the pudding with a drip coffee. I chose the autumn limited edition Halloween Blend. The rich and flavorful coffee had a nice autumnal touch and was deliciously bold. The rich coffee paired well with the pudding.

[Founder] The founder of Sarutahiko Coffee is Mr. Asayuki Otsuka. He is originally from Sengawa in Chofu City. While the main store, or the first store, of Sarutahiko Coffee is located in Ebisu, they opened a second store in Sengawa. I took a break there. [Stylish Store] The exterior of the store is stylish. Perhaps it is because of the glass walls that allow good natural light and transparency. The presence of renowned architect Tadao Ando's buildings around Sengawa Station may also contribute to this perception. The high ceiling and spaciousness create a relaxed atmosphere. With that in mind, I ordered a drink. [Smooth Iced Cafe Latte] I ordered an iced cafe latte. It contains a good amount of milk, resulting in a smooth taste. The serving size is also quite generous, making it very satisfying. If I ever find myself in Sengawa again, I would love to relax here once more.

A cafe located right near Sengawa Station on the Keio Line. The area around Sengawa Station is undergoing redevelopment, with a trendy atmosphere in front of the station. This cafe is located in a corner next to Starbucks and across from Kaldis. The cafe has both a first and second floor, as well as terrace seating. During the pandemic, terrace seating provides a sense of safety. The menu includes "Drip Coffee to Go" for 480 yen, hand drip coffee starting at 500 yen, small cafe latte for 500 yen, regular cafe latte for 600 yen, single espresso for 480 yen, and double espresso for 500 yen. Like many other cafes, this one has also raised its prices due to the global increase in coffee bean costs. On this visit, I only ordered coffee. An iced cafe latte for 600 yen was served in a paper cup, with a straw included. Personally, I prefer my coffee a bit stronger. This iced cafe latte was more on the refreshing side. At 600 yen, it felt a bit overpriced. I couldn't help but compare it to the nearby Starbucks.

I entered "Sarutahiko Coffee" located at the end of the road south of Sengawa Station, in a building with a distinctive Sengawa atmosphere. I ordered an iced coffee, which was hand-dripped using the "Sarutahiko French" beans (a blend with a glossy, smooth, and elegant aftertaste). The interior of the store was spacious with high ceilings, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Although I am not very knowledgeable about coffee flavors, it tasted delicious in a normal way.

I used the 2nd floor. There are seats where you can relax on a single sofa. They have a bakery menu, including French toast. This time, I had the daily tart and iced coffee. It reminded me of the Starbucks "Neighborhood and Coffee" in Hatsudai that used to be open until recently. I wish there was a cafe like this near my home.

On a typical weekday at 10:30 am, the seating was about 60% full. The Sardanapalus here has a stylish two-story layout with an open ceiling. I ordered the French toast exclusive to the Sengawa store and the drip coffee that comes out quickly. The French toast allows you to choose your toppings, so I went with ricotta lemon. The seating arrangement is spacious, making it very comfortable. When the buzzer goes off, you go to the second-floor counter to pick up your order. I was a little hungry, so I got three slices of French toast. The baguette soaked in egg mixture was mellow and had a natural flavor, with a crispy exterior. The baguette was not too hard, making it easy to eat, and I finished it in no time. The ricotta was in powder form and topped with lemon juice, which complemented the dish well. Sardanapalus never disappoints with their delicious food. I prefer the more sophisticated atmosphere of the Chofu store, but I would love to come back here for a relaxing time.

A cafe located just a short walk from Sengawa Station (Keio Line). The shop is situated in a stylish area in front of the station, with both a first and second floor, as well as a terrace seating area. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, I have been going to restaurants less frequently, especially cafes. The terrace seating provides a sense of comfort compared to the enclosed indoor spaces. During my visit in the morning, I tried their "Drip Coffee" for 300 yen, which is a pre-made coffee. Additionally, they offer items like Butter Toast for 110 yen and Raisin Butter Toast for 170 yen (prices when ordering coffee), making it a wallet-friendly option. I ordered the "Drip Coffee" and Butter Toast for a total of 410 yen. With the arrival of spring, the terrace seating offers a pleasant atmosphere. The staff brought the items to my table. The Butter Toast was a small portion, just enough to satisfy my hunger. The toast was not overly sweet, which was a nice change. The butter provided was salted. Both the toast and coffee were simply delicious. The location near the station is convenient for meet-ups. I hope that COVID-19 will end soon, allowing us to relax and enjoy cafes once again.

"Sarutahiko Coffee: I was about to leave after eating, but the train stopped. I think I'll have a coffee and wait. There's Starbucks, Sarutahiko, and Hoshino Coffee lined up, but I always choose Sarutahiko. When I order a latte, they always make latte art, which makes me happy."

I love the atmosphere of Sarutahiko Coffee so much that I often take the bus to Sengawa. After the New Year, I took a day off and enjoyed some alone time. I was lucky to find a solo seat by the window on the second floor, where I couldn't see anyone working on their PC. - What I ordered: Sarutahiko French Hot Sandwich: Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich The coffee and hot sandwich were delicious. The Sarutahiko French blend was perfect for my mood. I will make sure to visit again after making more time off.

Both hand-drip and machine-drip coffee were delicious. They have a wide variety of coffee beans available. The selection of bread, ice cream, and food is also extensive. The atmosphere inside the shop is very cozy, incorporating the vibe of Sengawa Station. I want that drip machine for my office. I can't believe such delicious coffee can be made by a machine.

Sarutahiko Coffee Atelier Sengawa Store @ Sengawa, Chofu City, Tokyo Sarutahiko Coffee opened its second store in Sengawa in February 2015, following the success of its Ebisu branch. It had been five and a half years since my last visit in March 2015, so I was excited to return. Located near the south exit of Keio Line Sengawa Station, this area is a coffee battleground with Starbucks, Hoshino, KALDI, and Sarutahiko all lined up next to each other. The stylish two-story glass-fronted store has a counter on the first floor where you place your order, and your drip coffee is brewed right next to it. After paying, you can wait for your drink at the tables. The menu offers coffee, flavored coffee, ice cream, affogato, and a selection of bread that you can enjoy inside the store. The coffee comes in short and tall sizes, with the short size being sufficient for most. The decaf coffee that was prominently displayed last time was no longer on the menu, and the emphasis on black coffee had decreased, now resembling a Starbucks-style setup. Today, I went upstairs to the glass-fronted second floor. The massive roasting machine that had bothered me with its noise during my last visit was gone, replaced by tables, creating a quiet space where you can relax. The interior is very stylish, but the wooden chairs are not very comfortable, and the tables are small, suggesting that they do not encourage long stays. The staff is efficient and friendly, which adds to the overall experience. It's quite impressive to see four coffee specialty stores lined up here, with two more nearby in Sengawa. Today, my companion and I tried the following items: - Cold Brew Coffee (Tall) 480 yen - Chai Latte (Tall) 600 yen - Baton Bread with 3 types of nuts 352 yen - Juicy Wiener Roll 385 yen Both the drinks and bread were delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
