It's not a huge portion like the first time I visited the Koganei branch, but you can see the spirit of service in places like this. I remember Koganei, Nakamurabashi, Koenji, and now this branch, the fourth one. It doesn't seem like a strict chain, but it has a casual, generous feel of a local Chinese restaurant. They offer all-you-can-eat drinks, salads, and desserts. Ordered shrimp and egg stir-fry set meal, yakisoba, and a glass of Taiwanese Shaoxing wine. The salad bar had limited options, lacking pickled vegetables or tsukemono. The ordered dishes were good with occasional salty bits in the shrimp and eggs. The yakisoba had a nice crispy texture with ingredients like chives, onions, bamboo shoots, carrots, and pork. Rice and soup were not self-serve, but were brought to the table. The yakisoba had a unique fried noodle taste that was satisfying.
