I went to Asakusa Yokocho, which opened in Asakusa. It's on the 4th floor of Tokyo Rakutenchi Asakusa Building, called "Asakusa Sushi Asakusa Yokocho". It's like an amusement park! Amazing! It's like a festival! There are face-in-the-hole boards and event spaces. There are several food and drink shops, like a food court. It's so colorful and flashy, making it hard to decide, but I arrived at "Asakusa Sushi Asakusa Yokocho". It's quite small with a counter and small tables for 2. In front of the counter, there are interesting displays like Shota's sushi collection, sushi games, and sushi toys in the showcase. You order using a QR code placed in front of the table, which has photos for easy ordering. The downside is that using QR codes drains your phone battery fast, but there are power outlets at every seat, so it's convenient. First, I toasted with a Doraemon cocktail, a blue cocktail with a bell like Doraemon. I ordered the following dishes: Almost crab salad, Ebi Kani Gassen, Shidareru Anago Tamago Sushi, Mount Sushi, Dream Caviar, Uni Gunkan, Aji and Ume Roll. The food and drinks were all unique and visually appealing, perfect for Instagrammers. The cost performance is good, and I would love to visit again. Highly recommended for Asakusa sightseeing.

I used it for a daytime drink. It is a sushi izakaya located in Asakusa Yokocho, which caused a small boom at one point. The interior of the restaurant has table seats and counter seats, and the ordering system is convenient where you can scan the QR code on the table with your smartphone and order from your phone. The menu on the smartphone was easy to read, and ordering was smooth, which was very helpful. I started with a toast with a draft beer. The beer was served in a glass with a humorous message printed on it. The beer was tasty and the service was reasonably quick. Since I wanted to try a variety of sushi, I ordered different types such as lean fish, white fish, and shellfish. The sushi had a good amount of toppings, but some of them had a mediocre taste or had too much wasabi, resulting in some hits and misses. Also, the ikura gunkan had too much moisture and the amount of ikura looked small, disappointing in both taste and appearance. The deep-fried squid legs were seasoned well and tasted good with alcohol. This time, I was seated at a table, but the spacing between the seat and the bench sofa was narrow, making it uncomfortable to relax, especially with my belongings. After eating and drinking for a while, I left the restaurant early. Since I couldn't find a specific reason to visit this restaurant again, I don't think I will revisit. Thank you for the meal.

Second stop at Asakusa Yokocho! It was hot outside, so we decided to have our meal in a cool place inside. The interior was cute with salmon cushions and sushi cushions. Chopsticks came with omikuji (fortune-telling paper)! I've been pulling omikuji many times since coming to Asakusa. All orders were placed through my smartphone. It's a common thing lately where you register as a LINE friend and then access the ordering screen. You can choose with wasabi or without, and pick your favorite sushi from the menu, which was great. The sushi was a bit small, but the prices were reasonable, so I felt the taste matched the price. The glasses were the same as Sushinjuku in Shinjuku! The egg illustration was cute and stood out! This store is more suitable for small groups. The counter seats and tables were a bit narrow. It was a cute, Instagrammable sushi restaurant that suited Asakusa Yokocho.

In the backstreets of Asakusa, there is a standout shop with a flashy and decorative interior, perfect for casually enjoying sushi. Orders are placed through a web order system. Recommended dishes include the Mount Sushi with shrimp and crab battle, fried natto rolls, and extra orders of sushi (otoro, nodoguro, kinmedai). The shrimp tempura, shirasu ajillo, and a bit of sake were also enjoyed. The Mount Sushi was a first-time experience, with a film covering a combination of tororo and ikura on top of sushi, creating a surprising and delicious taste. The standout dish was the Shirasu Ajillo, which may look unusual but was incredibly tasty, with the eggs absorbing the rich flavors. The fried natto rolls were a must-order item, not to be forgotten. This sushi shop offers a new and unique sushi experience that may appeal to foreigners as well. Thank you for the meal.

While mainly consisting of food and drink establishments, you can also find nostalgic snacks and masks for sale, with photo spots scattered around. The menu is filled with photogenic dishes that match the unique ambiance, such as innovative sushi creations that not only look impressive but also taste delicious. The entertainment factor is not the only highlight, as the fresh and tasty ingredients truly shine in every dish. The drink glasses and tableware are also stylish and cute, so don't miss out on the aesthetics. Overall, this restaurant offers a wide range of sushi options that showcase its potential, making it a must-visit spot for those looking for a delightful dining experience. Plus, you can charge your devices and enjoy free Wi-Fi while you dine.

I went to "Asakusa Sushi Asakusa Yokocho" to enjoy cutting-edge sushi such as Katakana Sushi (Sushi Ebisu, Sushi Shinjuku, etc.) The sushi was so Instagrammable and fun to eat! I was happy to find seats with USB cable plugs. I had the Sunchee & Lychee for ¥659 - cheers!! The lemon and lychee flavors were cute and delicious. I also enjoyed the festive atmosphere with the Hayashi team coming at just the right time. The Ebi Kani Gassen for ¥989 was visually stunning with plenty of crab meat and ikura on crab shells - so fresh and tasty! The Maguro Mamire for ¥1,209 was like a magic show! Opening the lid revealed a lot of fresh tuna - it was incredibly delicious and melt-in-your-mouth. The Calipico Corn Mayo Sushi for ¥494 had fluffy eggs, cucumber, and mayo - a delightful and easy-to-eat dish. Underneath, there was a rolled sushi waiting to be enjoyed. I tried the "Extreme! Birthday Sake [Half Cup Sake]" for ¥549, with a gentle aroma and sweet taste that paired perfectly with the next dish, the Sushi Restaurant's Fried Potato for ¥384. The freshly fried potatoes were crispy and easy to eat - a crunchy and delicious side dish. It was a great experience to enjoy delicious sushi and sake while soaking in the festive atmosphere!

Visited a sushi restaurant for the first time in Asakusa Yokocho, where there are many shops. The street was lively with samba dancers passing by. The eel butter, bluefin tuna, fatty tuna, salmon with lemon, and Doraemon sushi were all delicious and cute.

I had a great time eating my way through Asakusa (*⁰▿⁰*) I went to Asakusa Sushi for lunch, and it was delicious and amazing (*´∀`*) I tried their famous Ebi Kani Gassen, and the menu was so extensive and wonderful. From Ikasomen to Sumigake, everything was consistently delicious. The highly anticipated dish with the funny name, Melting Eel Butter, was a classic with lots of butter. The drinkable Salmon and seared Engawa were juicy and flavorful. The aged Kinmedai was also delicious. The Uni Gunkan was amazing, and the Nigiri was all too delicious (*≧∀≦*) As a fan of white fish, I was very happy. The fried Natto roll was a new and fresh experience. The Yuzu Pepper Tai rolled sushi was also very tasty ❤️‍ The Squid Legs were crispy and delicious, and the Cream Cheese was a classic snack. If you order a Highball now, you can spin a gachapon and win meal tickets, so it's a great deal. Definitely check it out! (*´◒`*)

A new attraction, "Asakusa Yokocho," a food and festival hall, opened on the 4th floor of the Tokyo Rakutenchi Asakusa Building on July 1st. To celebrate the opening, a special event will be held. One of the restaurants in the new establishment is "Asakusa Sushi," a sushi izakaya that offers visually appealing sushi to enhance the dining experience. While focusing on traditional Edomae sushi, they also add their own unique twist to bring out the flavors of the ingredients. "Asakusa Yokocho" features a total of 7 entertainment bars where guests can enjoy meals while experiencing Japan's festive culture. The venue is adorned with lively decorations and signs reminiscent of festival days, and street performers entertain guests daily. On weekends, various groups participate in traditional Japanese dance performances, further enhancing the festive atmosphere. With a blend of nostalgia and innovation, "Asakusa Yokocho" aims to showcase Japan's festival and food culture to the world, revitalizing Asakusa as a new and exciting destination.

Asakusa Yokocho is a drinking and dining street located in the Uniqlo building. It has a cozy atmosphere like a traditional izakaya street. While there is another drinking street at the end of Nakamise Street, this one is also highly recommended! They open from 12 pm and customers come in steadily. It has a modern izakaya vibe with a menu full of unique dishes. I highly recommend trying the seared negitoro, which has a rich flavor with a sweet sauce, wrapped in seaweed for a delicious combination of flavors and textures. They also serve sushi topped with generous amounts of butter and eel, which was delicious. The yuzu-flavored rolled sushi was refreshing and perfect for cleansing the palate. We also tried the soba with mentaiko and shirasu at the end, which was more like a salty oil soba dish. We split the bill and it came out to around 2600 yen for the two of us. Overall, it was a quick and enjoyable meal. The staff were friendly and energetic, making the experience even better!

The sushi bar at the back of Asakusa Yokocho, next to the elevator, was surprisingly good. They have a variety of sushi options, including Katakana sushi, and the nigiri was delicious. The horse mackerel and horse crab were particularly tasty. The food is satisfying and the drinks are good too. If this place was in my neighborhood, I would definitely be a regular customer. The shrimp and crab battles are also great. I will definitely come back!

The food came out quickly, was delicious, and very good. The glass was cute too. The yellowtail was delicious and great value for money, so I ordered it twice. Also, personally, the fried egg topped with seaweed sauce was perfect for my taste, so I would definitely order it again if I come back.

The result of the fortune telling was "sickness": it's not an illness. It's love. "Love": I understand. I understand, so let's drink today... It was a person who became sick due to unrequited love! (※He's married!) Asakusa Sushi Asakusa Yokocho After eating and walking around, we finally arrived at our usual sushi restaurant. It's a place where you can casually eat sushi, so it always seems crowded no matter which branch you go to. Just managed to get in! And we were guided to a table seat instead of a counter seat. The cushion with a "salmon fillet" was too cute! When we drew the familiar chopstick fortune, for the first time we got "average luck"! This fortune had "average luck" in it... (I always had the image of "great luck" or "super great luck"). Perhaps average luck is not a bad thing??? While thinking about that, I started with a glass of sake (1 go)!!! My companion that day was not a big drinker, so I took charge of the drinking while they took charge of the eating. It was the first time we had such a division of roles and it was quite interesting. The sushi was delicious, but the creative sushi was the best, right? So, the "Specialty Ebi Kani Gassen" and "Mount Sushi" are a must! You can only eat them here. And more sake, sake... laughs It's a luxury to be able to drink a little bit of sake at a time! And as we ate the sushi, we drank and enjoyed ourselves, and before ordering the "ate maki", we got full...! (The fresh sake "Atago no Matsu" was so delicious...!) It was another fun day today.

I took a day off to relax before the end of the year, so I decided to visit Asakusa to enjoy the festive atmosphere. It had been a few years since I last visited, and I was surprised by the number of people around Sensoji Temple. There were not only foreign tourists but also many young Japanese people, some wearing kimonos and others lining up at food stalls. It seems like the trend has changed over the years. As I walked around, I noticed new buildings and a bustling shopping mall with various restaurants. I decided to explore Asakusa Yokocho, a lively area with neon lights and a Southeast Asian vibe. I stopped by a sushi restaurant and ordered some sushi, along with a strong matcha highball. The atmosphere was lively, and I enjoyed the end-of-year feeling amidst the hustle and bustle. I received a great fortune from the chopstick wrapper, so I hope good things will happen in the remaining three days of the year. Although I have to work tomorrow, this little trip made me feel like I had a nice break.

I heard that a sushi restaurant like an amusement park has opened in Asakusa, so I visited #AsakusaSushi with my friends! The restaurant is like a lively and fun place, just like a Japanese restaurant abroad. It's perfect for when you want to have a great time with friends or with friends from overseas. On this day, we enjoyed dishes like smooth monkfish liver with grated ponzu sauce, fried blowfish, blowfish skin, fresh bluefin tuna, horse mackerel, small skin, and sardine. There are seasonal dishes like ankimo and blowfish skin available, and you can choose items like fresh bluefin tuna belly or a selection of your favorite nigiri sushi. The highlight was the surprise appearances by comedians and courtesans at our table! The drink menu is extensive, with cute Fujiko F. Fujio-themed cocktails and delicious sake to choose from. You can also order food from the neighboring yakitori restaurant, which sounds like a fun idea for next time. The whole floor is very photogenic and fun, with lovely surroundings and shops to explore. Strolling around while enjoying drinks is a great experience. Asakusa Sushi is located at Asakusa Yokocho, Tokyo Rakutenchi Asakusa Building 4F, 2-6-7 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo. Phone: 03-5830-6277.

I didn't know that the 4th floor of the Tokyo Rakutenchi Asakusa Building, called "Asakusa Sushi Asakusa Yokocho," was such a fun space like a theme park. It's a casual atmosphere with several restaurants grouped together like a food court, and just stepping onto the floor lifts your spirits. Among the colorful options, "Asakusa Sushi Asakusa Yokocho" stood out with its compact layout of a counter and small tables for two. Ordering was easy with a QR code placed in front of the table, complete with photos for reference. I tried the most popular drink, the "Grapefruit Sour," which paired well with the pingree and high sour. The food menu was similar to the Katakana Sushi chain, with eye-catching popular items like the "Mount Sushi" with overflowing fillings and the "Shrimp and Crab Battle" served in a crab shell. The seasonal "Blowfish Tempura" and the perfect appetizer "Ankimo" with grated ponzu sauce were also delicious. I couldn't resist trying some sake, so I chose "Murasaki" poured into a lovely sake cup from a one-liter bottle. For the finale, I enjoyed some nigiri sushi, including shiny fish like horse mackerel and tuna. The firm sushi rice filled me up nicely. Located on the open floor of Asakusa Yokocho, "Asakusa Sushi Asakusa Yokocho" is perfect for a light meal hopping experience rather than sitting down for a long meal. The detailed floor design makes it a great recommendation for first-time visitors to Japan, and it's sure to delight anyone you bring along for a fun night of food and drink hopping.

I visited Asakusa Yokocho, a new attraction in Asakusa, located on the 4th floor of Tokyo Rakutenchi Asakusa building, which is a food and festival hall. The place is filled with Instagrammable spots and has a kitschy atmosphere that gives off a feeling of being at a festival, with lively and fun vibes. There are seven food and drink establishments and a kimono rental shop on the floor, and I visited Asakusa Sushi this time. The main seating is at the counter, with two table seats available. The counter seats have outlets for charging, which is convenient. The showcase in front of the counter seats displays many toy sushi pieces, which are fun to look at. You can scan the QR code next to the lifelike sushi samples and place your order through LINE on your smartphone. You can also order delivery from the neighboring yakitori restaurant, which is a nice feature. The cute Doraemon & Dorami-chan cocktail is perfect for toasting! There is a fortune slip attached to the chopsticks. The appetizer of fried cod is more like a substantial dish than a simple appetizer, with crispy fried cod that is soft and sweet. The blowfish skin with ponzu sauce is chewy and perfect as a snack with alcohol. The Murasake Junmai Ginjo Konruri Fujin Raijin sake is served in a glass that would appeal to foreigners. The hot and crispy anglerfish tempura is delicious with a crispy coating sprinkled with seaweed. The Mount Sushi, topped with grated yam, tuna, salmon roe, and flying fish roe, is a fun specialty of the restaurant. The Ebi-kani Gassen, where you mix crab miso inside the crab shell with shrimp, crab, salmon roe, and quail eggs, is another specialty dish. The lemon highball served in a cute glass is refreshing. Towards the end, we had nigiri sushi, including horse mackerel, cured mackerel, small snapper, tuna red meat, medium fatty tuna, and fatty tuna, all of which were traditional and filling. During the meal, a comedian visited each table and entertained us. Different entertainers, such as magicians, visit on different days, and if you enjoy their performance, you can give them a tip. Lastly, we had a soup with tuna pieces and other ingredients for a satisfying end to the meal. Asakusa Sushi offers a wide range of sushi, from traditional Edomae sushi to creative and Instagrammable sushi, making it convenient for all-day dining and high in entertainment value, making it suitable for enjoying with family or friends. It is sure to be well-received by foreign visitors as well.

As soon as you step into the Tokyo Rakutenchi Asakusa Building 4F, you are transported to a glamorous world that transcends time and country! Many shops are gathered like a street food village, creating an exciting space. This time, I visited Asakusa Sushi Asakusa Yokocho, a trendy sushi restaurant where you can enjoy eye-catching sushi and classic nigiri. You can order by scanning a QR code, and the chopsticks with fortune predictions are always a fun surprise. This time, I got a small blessing... My friend got a great blessing! The cocktails with names inspired by Doraemon and Dorami are adorable and charming. The drinks are so cute! We started with a crab miso tofu appetizer. Then, we enjoyed the exquisite delicacy of pufferfish skin with plenty of green onions and a gentle ponzu vinegar sauce. The Mount Sushi, a specialty of the restaurant, was a sushi roll topped with plenty of tuna, grated yam, salmon roe, and flying fish roe. It not only looked great but also had a delicious taste and generous portion. Each texture was enjoyable. We also had rich and flavorful monkfish liver with plenty of grated radish. The highball in the cute glass was delightful. I couldn't miss the gizzard shad, which I love. The mackerel was also delicious. The fried pufferfish was crispy and fluffy. The shrimp and crab battle, another specialty of the restaurant, had a generous amount of crab and shrimp inside a crab shell, with a hint of saltiness from the salmon roe. The mackerel had a good balance of fat and sweetness. The fatty tuna was melting in the mouth. There are many options for snacks, and you can enjoy both eye-catching sushi and classic nigiri. You can also order delivery from the neighboring yakitori restaurant, offering various ways to have fun. I recommend enjoying a casual and lively atmosphere with friends. There are plenty of photo spots that will make your experience even more memorable.

Enjoying Showa retro vibes♡ I visited Asakusa Sushi in Asakusa Yokocho, which is like a lively theme park on one floor. This is a place that everyone can enjoy, not just foreigners! Cheers with cute Doraemon & Dorami-chan cocktails♡ Dora-chan is grapefruit flavored, and Dorami-chan is lychee flavored. The appetizer was a hot and fluffy deep-fried cod dish, almost like a main course! The blowfish skin in ponzu sauce was refreshing and crunchy! It's fun to see real-looking food samples displayed on the counter♪ You can even order delivery from the neighboring yakitori restaurant! The freshly fried monkfish tempura was soft and fluffy❤ It's like a deep-fried dish, perfect for snacking! The Mount Sushi with grated yam, tuna, salmon roe, and flying fish roe is beautifully arranged♪ Under the grated yam, there are plenty of fish pieces, very filling! The crab and shrimp battle in the shell with a roll containing crab miso, offering a rich flavor. This lemon sour glass was so cute❤ The illustration of the egg sushi is adorable~ Starting with the hand-pressed sushi, we enjoyed horse mackerel, cured mackerel, and small tuna, medium fatty tuna, and fatty tuna, three types♪ The large toppings and rice were so satisfying! The tuna on the right is like a food sample chopstick rest♪ The real deal~ The fatty tuna is this thick slice! A comedian even appeared here! The neon lights in the background also add to the Showa era vibe! (laughs) Going around to each table for sales activities♪ The miso soup with a large chunk of tuna belly is so fulfilling! Asakusa Rokku area's new attraction "Tokyo Rakutenchi Asakusa Building" on the 4th floor. Stepping inside, it was a festive space called "Asakusa Yokocho, the Hall of Food and Festivals." The floor had kimono rentals and Instagrammable spots, just taking a stroll around would lift your spirits. With lively festival music playing in the background and enthusiastic calls coming from all directions, we headed to the sushi restaurant "Asakusa Sushi Asakusa Yokocho." The spacious counter displayed many sushi toy replicas, and we ordered using QR codes attached to the sushi samples. The first drink was the "Fujiko F. Fujio Sake," my friend chose Doraemon, and I chose Dorami-chan. At first, I thought it might be a typical touristy drinking place, but my concerns were quickly dispelled! The dishes and sushi that came out one after another were all fresh and delicious! It was a proper sushi restaurant. The "Creamy Shirako Ponzu" was rich and creamy cod milt with well-balanced ponzu sauce. We also ordered sake to go with it. The "Ebi Kani Gassen" had crab miso sushi topped with a crab shell, mixing it and pouring it over the sushi was heavenly. The "Fluffy! Fugu Karaage" had crispy fried blowfish with lemon. The "Premium Delicacy Fugu Skin" had a crunchy and chewy texture with green onions and myoga enhancing the flavor. The "Sushi Restaurant's Xiao Long Bao" was served hot in between sushi. The "Sinful Negitoro Aburi Sushi" had a generous amount of seared negitoro wrapped in fragrant nori. The nigiri sushi, from shiny fish to white fish, red fish, and fatty tuna, all received a "delicious!" The slightly red and warm sushi rice was excellent. The drink options included sake, sour, beer, and even local Asakusa Electric Brandy. Each menu had a unique twist, looked beautiful, and tasted great. There were no disappointments, and we were impressed by the authentic sushi. Highly recommended for Asakusa sightseeing! This wonderful restaurant is sure to please international guests as well.

Sushi eaten in a calm atmosphere is delicious, of course. But eating sushi in a lively setting with festival music playing is also delicious...!! And everything here is authentic, from the sushi to the dishes to the sake! It was so much fun, delicious, and time flew by. It is located on the 4th floor of Tokyo Rakutenchi Asakusa Building, inside Asakusa Yokocho. Among all the delicious dishes, the "Sinful Negitoro" stood out the most. It consists of slightly smaller rice balls than a fist, topped with plenty of negitoro, sauce, and a hint of mayonnaise. It is then lightly grilled. The combination of the smoky flavor, negitoro, sauce, and the sinful mayonnaise creates a truly delicious dish that is addictive! It comes with a separate plate of seaweed to wrap it in, which adds to the experience. The "Shirako Ponzu" was also amazing, with a generous portion at a great price. Even though I used to dislike shirako, this dish changed my mind. The various nigiri sushi were all meticulously prepared, with warm vinegared rice enhancing the flavors of the fish. The "Kohada, Aji, Shimesaba" trio, in particular, was my favorite. Each bite, accompanied by sake, made me feel truly happy. The "Maguro Akami" was delicious, and I could now appreciate the flavor of tuna more than ever. The "Otoro, Chutoro" were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The freshness and quality of the fish at such an affordable price was truly impressive. *After finishing my errands at Kappabashi Bridge, I bought some bread at Pelican and then met up with a friend here. As soon as we got off the elevator, we were surprised by the flashy neon lights and music. The atmosphere was exciting, with many shops to explore. We started with the "Doraemon Sour" and "Dorami Sour" cocktails, which were cute and not too sweet. We couldn't resist ordering them! The "Ebi Kani Gassen" was a unique roll with crab miso, crab meat, quail egg yolk, and ikura on top. It was a fun, beautiful, and delicious dish. The "Fugu Karaage" was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, paired with matcha salt. It was so delicious that I'm sure no one could dislike it! The "Sushiya no Xiao Long Bao" had a slightly Japanese twist with a sauce that might be "roasted sake." It was a perfect match for the xiao long bao. We ordered a second round of sake and enjoyed it with the nigiri sushi. If you think sushi restaurants are intimidating, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's rare to find a sushi restaurant that is both delicious and fun like this one! Thank you for the wonderful meal, I will definitely be back!
