The cafe called Raw Sugar Roast is located a 2-minute walk from Kyodo Station in Setagaya, Tokyo. The cafe offers Single Origin Espresso, Latte (Ice), and Duck Cassoulet on their menu, with a total price of 1,200 yen. They accept PayPay payments and have about 30 seats. The reviewer visited the cafe on a holiday around 3 pm and found no waiting time. The small entrance sign may be hard to spot, but the reviewer appreciated the window that allowed them to see inside before entering. The cafe has a trendy interior with concrete walls and antique furniture. The staff, consisting of three handsome men, took orders at the counter after securing a seat. The Latte and Duck Cassoulet ordered were delicious, with the latter having a strong duck aroma and flavorful camembert cheese. The Latte was particularly praised for its perfect balance of espresso bitterness. The reviewer enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the cafe, where they could chat with friends or couples without feeling crowded. Overall, the reviewer had a pleasant experience and recommended the cafe for its coffee and ambiance.

Wote village is known for producing high-quality coffee. This Ethiopian coffee has a flavor reminiscent of lemon tea typical of Yirgacheffe, with a smooth mouthfeel and a long, rich aftertaste.

5 minutes from Kyodo Station. The sign of the shop was small and easy to miss, but the location was easy to find. The interior of the shop is spacious and has a relaxing atmosphere. There is music playing, and the staff's greetings and attentiveness make you feel really comfortable as soon as you enter. Customers of all ages and genders come in, some reading books, some chatting, everyone taking their time. I had the El Paraiso Lime for 1000 yen. I couldn't understand what the product name meant, but the staff sensed my preference, asked for it, and recommended it to me. It was a fruity coffee with a light roast, which I really liked. I also bought some coffee beans. Next time, I want to come back to try the espresso.

I found a cafe that I personally recommend for coffee lovers to visit. It's located about a 3-minute walk from Kyodo Station. The interior has a nice atmosphere with vintage furniture, making it suitable for both individuals and dates. Although I don't have much knowledge to articulate it, the coffee is delicious. The criteria for a good cafe may vary from person to person, but this cafe excels in ambiance and atmosphere, making it a perfect place for work as it is relatively quiet and calm, and the coffee is also delicious. Highly recommended!

I visited the cafe "Roast Sugar Roast" in Kyodo on a slightly hot holiday, which has become a bit cooler after the intense heat. Today, I tried the El Paraiso farm's Geisha variety coffee recommended by the passionate staff. The refreshing and fruity taste and aroma of this El Paraiso signature coffee made me feel soothed just by drinking it. Personally, the prosciutto press sandwich (panini) here is an exceptional dish that you can't taste anywhere else. Whenever I visit, I am healed by the staff's love for coffee and the refreshing encounters with coffee. It's a place I want to visit regularly. Thank you for the meal.

After working with Paul Bassett and Kiyosan (Mr. Suzuki Kiyokazu), Kosakata-san worked at glitch coffee roasters, which he co-founded with Kiyosan. The shop is now run by Kosakata-san as the head roaster. They use a Probat roasting machine just like glitch. I was impressed by Tamiru-san's roasting skills when the shop first opened, and have been a regular customer ever since. Recently, they have been promoting El Paraiso a lot. It seems like the trend in the coffee industry, but I wish they would emphasize their roasting skills without having to use it! I ordered the La Maria Wush Wush from Colombia and the Umurage Funky Natural from Rwanda (both hot). I was immediately drawn to the aroma of Umurage when I smelled the beans, but surprisingly, the aroma did not develop as expected. Perhaps it's due to the summer temperature and humidity. La Maria was interesting with its cocoa-fermented berry-like sensation and texture.

Tokyo Cafe where you can feel like you're overseas ☕️ @naotaka_cafegram Raw Sugar Roast in Kyodo A cool and stylish cafe that opened in April this year ☕️ From the outside, it doesn't look like a cafe at all, with a heavy and sophisticated feel, but inside, a spacious and lovely space awaits. The interior is all vintage, with sofa seats, large tables, and two-seater tables, so you can sit wherever you like. Depending on where you look, the atmosphere varies, but there is a sense of unity throughout the space. It's a cool yet very cozy space, you can only feel the sense of style. First, order at the entrance. There is a splendid roasting machine at the back of the counter! This is the secret to delicious drinks. On this day, I had an iced coffee. I decided what to drink while chatting with the barista about what kind of coffee I usually drink and what I like. By the way, the Basque cheesecake and canelé are also delicious and recommended. The barista brothers are very cool, but they are very friendly and talkative. They were really nice guys! The space is so nice that once you go, you're sure to like it. It's a place that's recommended for any scene, whether it's a date or just by yourself, or with friends. I'll definitely go back soon. ☕️ □ ■ □ ■ □ ■ shop information □ ■ □ ■ □ ■ □ ■ ☑️ Shop name: Raw Sugar Roast ☑️ Address: 3-9-4 Miyasaka, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo ☑️ Business hours: 8:00-18:00 ☑️ Regular holiday: Irregular holiday ☑️ Power supply Wi-Fi: ❌ ☑️ Access: 2 minutes walk from Kyodo Station ☑️ Number of seats: about 40 seats ☑️ Payment: Card ✔️, Electronic money ✔️, PayPay ✔️ @naotaka_cafegram #Kyodo #KyodoGourmet #KyodoCafe #Gotokuji #GotokujiCafe #ShimokitazawaCafe #ShimokitazawaGourmet #ShimokitazawaLunch #SetagayaDaeda #SetagayaCafe #SetagayaGourmet #SetagayaLunch #Setagaya-ku #SetagayaLineCafe #SetagayaLine #OdakyuLine #OdakyuLineGourmet #OdakyuLineCafe #MorningCafe #TokyoMorningTokyoCafeSection #TokyoCafe #TokyoDate #TokyoSightseeing #TokyoTravel #StylishCafe #DateSpot #DatePlan

On a scorching hot day in July, I wanted to go to a local cafe with my child on our way back from errands (still before 9 am!). I searched and found this place. It is located on the first floor of an apartment building, and I initially mistook it for a hair salon or something, so I walked past it. The lack of a big sign outside may indicate a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Feeling a bit nervous, I opened the heavy door and entered. There was a corner where they grind coffee beans, and a pleasant aroma filled the air. It seems like there is a person specialized in grinding coffee beans. Although I sometimes grind coffee beans at home, I don't have a strong preference or much knowledge about it. My child and I entered this space, feeling a bit unsure. However, the friendly and charming guy behind the counter had such great communication skills that I felt like I was in a local cafe overseas. When I asked, unfortunately, they didn't have the scones that I had decided to order after seeing them on Tabelog (personally, I love the crispy texture of scones paired with a creamy latte). I ordered a cafe latte and a Basque cheesecake. My daughter, feeling more nervous than me due to the variety of coffee brands, said, "I'll have... juice." Desserts are popular among girls her age, and although she likes chocolate, a sophisticated chocolate terrine was a bit too much for her. The latte was delicious with the rich aroma of espresso blending with the round milk. The cheesecake was creamy and refreshing. My daughter enjoyed the rich flavor and smooth texture of the chocolate terrine, taking a step towards adulthood and feeling ecstatic. We spent about an hour relaxing, reading our own books. The cozy and friendly atmosphere created by the regular customers and staff made us feel warm and content as we left the cafe. With a touch of coolness from Brooklyn or the West Coast, combined with an antique warmth, the cafe had a stylish and welcoming ambiance. It's a lovely space where you can enjoy a delicious coffee and even work remotely in a calm environment. Highly recommended for coffee lovers and anyone who appreciates a great atmosphere. I look forward to visiting this place again. It was a delightful experience.

I revisited the place within a week and had a delicious morning panini today. I think my order was forgotten because it took over 30 minutes to arrive, but when I mentioned that I was hungry, it came out right away. This time I had hot coffee, which was also delicious. Even though it's a bit pricey, the coffee had a refreshing taste of berries or fruits, without the acidity, and was easy to drink. I've come to like light roast coffee. The salty panini paired well with it! I will definitely visit again.

Weekdays. I thought there would be few people, but there were quite a few at lunchtime. The cheesecake is delicious! But more importantly, the iced coffee is delicious! It's so refreshing that I could have as many cups as I want, yet it has a deep flavor. I usually don't like light roast, but... I was talking about it at the register, so the staff asked me how it was when I was almost done drinking. They also told me where the Wi-Fi was because I was studying. Definitely worth revisiting!

I felt like having a refreshing and delicious coffee, so I went to "Low Sugar Roast". The staff there are passionate about coffee and they kindly explain the story behind the beans. My favorite beans here are from the El Paraiso farm in Colombia, known for their fruity flavor. This time, I tried the Red Plum iced coffee. It tasted like a tropical iced coffee with a fruity apple tea-like sensation. It's perfect for hot summer days. They also have a special panini made with a unique dough that you can only find here (at least that's what I think). I tried the one with prosciutto and mortadella ham, and it was addictive. Every visit is a new discovery and I always look forward to it. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Basque cheesecake ice latte ice drip. The cheesecake is rich but not too sweet, with a light texture that doesn't linger in the mouth. Today's choice is Colombia's El Paraiso Red Plum in an ice drip. It has a vibrant flavor profile that is refreshing without being too acidic - perfect for summer coffee!

I went to a coffee shop recommended by a friend who used to be a barista. It's located about a 3-minute walk from the station, but there are no signs outside, so it might be a bit confusing for first-time visitors. The shop has large windows, so you can see inside, which is reassuring. Inside, there are various types of seating, including sofa seats, large shared tables, a counter, and regular tables and chairs. Pets are also allowed inside. It was a bit crowded when I visited on a weekend, probably because it's popular. So, if you're looking for a quiet place to read or work, this might not be the best choice. According to my friend, this shop is known for its excellent roasting, and many cafes use the coffee roasted here. All the coffee is apparently lightly roasted. I'm not very knowledgeable about coffee, but I can say that it was fruity and delicious. I should have tried the cakes too.

It wasn't to my taste, but it's a nice shop with a great atmosphere and sense of openness. The staff are polite and pleasant. I mentioned that I don't like strong acidity, yet the recommended coffee was very sour, so I guess that's just how it is. It's more roasted than the beans themselves. They tried their best to recommend a fruity one to balance it out. It's popular, so there's a bit of a wait after ordering, but it's tolerable. If you like lightly roasted coffee with a strong acidity, definitely give it a try.

⭐️⭐️(3 out of 5 stars) A trendy cafe in Kyodo where the concept of coffee changes with one cup. It says flavors like pomegranate, rose, and tropical fruits, and it's exactly like that! Is this really coffee? Amazing! However, I prefer coffee that tastes more like traditional coffee.

I finally visited a cafe I had been wanting to go to, called "Roosugaroast" in Kyodo. The atmosphere, staff, and BGM were all very cool with an American old garage-style interior. The coffee, from the El Paraiso farm in Colombia, had a very fruity taste and was easy to drink, with no flaws. The panini made with custom-made bread was also delicious. I will definitely be going back again. ☕

I don't go to Kichijoji often, but when I do, I found a new cafe! I decided to stop by and it was bustling with customers. They carefully roast selected beans and you can feel their dedication. I was soothed by the gentle sweetness of the banana cake and the vibrant Ethiopian coffee. The cafe was mostly filled with women on a weekday afternoon. The thing that I found most charming was the cafe's atmosphere where both young and old can gather. It has a stylish vibe yet feels welcoming to everyone.

I happened to stop by this place and it was the most impressive experience I've had so far. I ordered the EL PALAISO from Colombia. The flavor was so fruity that I almost thought it had added flavoring. They should probably write that they don't use flavoring, haha. It's quite far from where I live, so it's not easy to visit casually, but I would love to go back again. Next time, I want to enjoy a coffee pairing with a meal! *I was so focused on the coffee that I forgot to take any photos... Thank you for the meal.
