The food at Nejimaki Cooking Shop is really delicious! The lively and bright atmosphere in the restaurant is bustling, yet there are no rude customers, and it is very clean and pleasant to dine in. The staff are attentive and accommodating, adjusting the portion sizes and recommending suitable drinks, or even letting you leave the choices up to them (exciting to see what comes out!). Even when it's busy, you can feel their meticulous care and appreciate their polite service. The ability to have this kind of interaction is a real highlight. Every dish is delicious, so you can't really go wrong with whatever you choose based on your preferences. It's also a great place for people who may not like certain foods, as they are often surprised by how tasty it is here. For example, my companion doesn't like liver, but they happily ate it here!

I saw this restaurant on someone's SNS and thought, "Oh, there's such a place here!" and it caught my interest, so I decided to visit. The restaurant is located on the hillside between Akasaka and Roppongi Ichome, in a secluded alley that you wouldn't pass by unless you specifically went there. The interior of the restaurant is clean and minimalist, with a white-based decor and exposed concrete walls. The menu has a unique atmosphere inspired by the novels of Haruki Murakami. When I glanced at the menu, I couldn't decide what to eat... there were so many choices. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes such as steak, somen noodles, set meals, and curry, giving the impression of a proper dining establishment. However, as someone who enjoys drinking alcohol, I found it difficult to decide what to order from the menu. The selection of appetizers seemed to lean towards dry items that weren't particularly appealing. It was nice that each dish was served individually, such as gyoza and fried chicken, but the gyoza was quite large. The mackerel wrapped in lettuce was also delicious, but it was quite filling. The portion size of the gratin was also substantial, making it difficult to drink afterwards. It seemed like there were many regular customers, and upon entering, the atmosphere felt somewhat uncomfortable. The exposed concrete walls made the noise from other tables echo and become too loud, making it hard to relax. I had high expectations, but it didn't quite match my preferences.笑

It's a wonderful restaurant in Akasaka, and I definitely want to go back again.

Murakami Haruki fans will definitely be thrilled with this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a wonderful place in Akasaka! The atmosphere is stylish, and the dishes all have a unique punch that leaves you satisfied. Personally, I found the black vinegar pork and mapo tofu to be incredibly delicious, and I would love to go back just for those. It's a perfect place to relax with friends over wine.

I had dinner at a restaurant in a residential area in Akasaka. It's been a while since I had bottled beer as an appetizer and it was delicious, so my expectations were high! The wine served in a bottle was also great. The sashimi consisted of bonito and conger eel, and the tempura made with bitter melon and corn was delicious. The corn tempura was sweet and tasty, and the Gorgonzola cheese grilled with summer vegetables was also delicious. The chicken confit with tomato sauce pasta was also very tasty. All the dishes were delicious and the cost performance was surprisingly good for Akasaka.

Despite the current situation, the restaurant was full of customers, indicating its popularity. The menu was creatively placed between books, giving the place a stylish atmosphere. The restaurant was casual, but offered a wide variety of dishes. We ordered gyoza and fried chicken, which could be ordered individually, allowing us to try a variety of dishes. I tried Moldovan wine for the first time, and the female staff kindly explained about the wine, making it easy to understand. Both the wine and the food were delicious, and I left very satisfied. I would love to visit again!
