I love the red lantern-style yakitori restaurant Hira-chan. After the sad news that Uni-ka-san is closing, I heard the exciting news that Hira-chan 2nd is opening on the same site! I visited just two days after the opening, and although the lanterns were not ready yet, the stylish interior remained the same. @kei_vida was working hard as the second in command. The dishes I tried included: New onion and new potato vichyssoise with chicken skin chips, three appetizers, chicken sashimi, liver, vinegar-pickled chopsticks, ginger-topped heart, shishito peppers, meat-stuffed shiitake mushrooms, sabi-yaki, heart base, chicken wings, gizzard, lanterns, zucchini parmesan cheese, chicken soup, and more. The course I ordered was 3800 yen, and I added tataki and yakitori. The course started with a stylish vichyssoise. The chicken used was mainly Tanba chicken, Kyoto red chicken, and Miyazaki jidori. I recommend the sauce-based yakitori at Hira-chan, as their sweet and savory homemade sauce is my favorite. The second in command, @kei_vida, has improved the yakitori since my last visit, and I look forward to trying more in the future. A visit to Hira-chan is always a delight, and I can't wait to go back again. #AsakusabashiGourmet #AsakusabashiYakitori #Hira-chan #CharcoalGrilledChickenHira-chan2nd #yakitori #TokyoGourmet #TaitoWardGourmet #TokyoFineDining #YakitoriLover #Yakitori #TokyoYakitori #YakitoriAdventure #ConnectingWithYakitoriLovers #YakitoriRestaurant #YakitoriEnthusiast #YakitoriInstagram #foodie #JapaneseFoods
