I had been interested in this shop for a while. It's a bit of a walk from Akabane Station, but it's a popular shop with locals. It's located diagonally across from the long-established soba restaurant, Masudaya. They open at 3:00 PM, and I entered around that time. The seats were clean and had a calming atmosphere. The staff greeted me by saying, "It's hot today, isn't it?" It may seem simple, but it's actually quite skillful. I ordered a lemon sour, and the appetizer was simmered shishito peppers and okra. The okra had a nice crunch to it and was delicious. The chef is from Gifu Prefecture, Hida, and he shared various things about Hida and Gifu with me. Although I had just eaten lunch, I wanted to try something, so I ordered pickled vegetable steak. The pickled vegetables were grilled on a hot iron plate, and the aroma of butter and soy sauce was irresistible. It was delicious! The lemon sour went well with it. From reading other reviews, it seems like a place where you can be satisfied with both meals and snacks. I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal, and I will definitely come back. Thank you very much.

I had a little time, so I decided to have a light meal and drinks with my business partners. They mentioned that they usually don't go out late at night, so I took them to a place where I am a regular. Both of them are big drinkers, so we focused on the snacks. The pork with spicy grated radish was delicious, and the pickled vegetable steak and horse sashimi were outstanding as always. We made sure to keep a bottle, so we will definitely visit again.

I immediately liked it and came here. What's good is the customer service of the owner and the mama-san. They are very friendly and the atmosphere inside the store is bright. Today, I also tried some appetizers. The pickled vegetable steak was surprisingly delicious and made me think there are different ways to enjoy it. The pasta, surpassing the mentaiko pasta from the other day, the basil pasta was the best. They close at 2 pm, so I can't go often, but whenever I can, I want to visit this top-ranking restaurant in Akabane.

I always have trouble finding a place to eat in Akabane at night. Today, we decided to have dinner instead of drinks. We tried to go to a ramen shop but found out it couldn't accommodate four people. As we wandered around 2nd Avenue, we saw a restaurant with its lights on. We thought it would be closed, but when we asked, it turned out to be open. We entered and found out that they mainly served rice dishes! Since it was late, they had run out of rice, but they used ingredients from Okinawa and Nagano. I ordered a Nagano-style soup yakisoba and several types of pasta, and the mentaiko pasta was especially delicious. If you're looking for a late-night meal, definitely give this place a try. Next time, I'll try their appetizers as well.

First stop for drinks in Akabane. Had a fun conversation with the friendly owner. Delicious food to go with the drinks. It was a great place.
