The taste is quite ordinary and there are no particularly delicious dishes, but on the other hand, there is no dissatisfaction either. It's like, "This is good enough." It was around 11 pm, but the inside of the store was almost full. People of all ages, from young to elderly, were enjoying themselves. The staff are all women, but they have a wide age range and provide polite service. It seems like a useful place as it is open until morning.

On Thursday, after 7pm, three of us visited the restaurant and it was very crowded. This time, we mainly enjoyed drinking and eating Japanese sake. The dishes, especially the butter-grilled new potatoes, nameko mushrooms, and crab miso gratin, were delicious. There were over 10 types of sake available, including limited-time Japanese sake, which made our 4-hour stay enjoyable. The cost-performance was good, with each person spending around 5000 yen.

A few years ago, I used to visit Donjaka often. It had been a while since my last visit. The main store was full, so we were directed to the branch with the copper gong, where we easily found a seat. I started with a bottle of Asahi beer. The appetizer was fried horse mackerel, which was satisfying. We also ordered whitefish roe with ponzu sauce at my friend's request. It was a generous portion. Next, we had almond hanpen grilled on a hot plate with almonds sprinkled on top. It was my first time trying it, and I enjoyed the soft texture and delicious flavor. We also had a generous portion of pure liver. It would be great for those who love liver. Finally, we had fried oysters and whale shochu highball before leaving feeling quite satisfied. The one-dish meals were plentiful and delicious as always. A wonderful casual izakaya.

I was drawn to this restaurant by the signboard advertising hand-cut soba with sashimi. However, to my disappointment, the hand-cut soba was not available at the moment. Nevertheless, the menu was extensive and filled with creative dishes such as "hell tofu" which resembled a spicy stew, natto dumplings, and stuffed intestines. It was a fun and lively restaurant experience!

I couldn't satisfy myself with "Margot 2," so I decided to explore the neighborhood. Oh, I remember now. Donjaga is still open. So, I sneaked into the underground. Cheers with a lemon sour. I always order the French pancake with curry sauce every other time. It's solidly delicious. And, something that seemed unlikely, chilled eggplant with wasabi and grated mountain yam. This is definitely delicious. When I ordered the raw oysters, they were a decent size. Seriously, they have a great variety of dishes that are delicious, the chubby waitress provides lovely service, making this restaurant truly special. It can be said to be one of my favorite places.

Oh, I used to come here a lot in the past, but I haven't been here in a while and I recently came back after a long time. I've been coming here twice a week now, haha. When I come here, I always start with a beer, but I end up getting a sake tasting set. It's a good deal with a decent amount of sake to try. The prices were a bit on the high side. The copchang was large, but lacked depth in flavor. Overall, the food was average, nothing outstanding. The place is bustling with a diverse crowd, from young people to executives, but it doesn't feel cramped. The katsu sandwich is definitely a must-try. I used this place as my 5th stop for drinks starting from the afternoon. I understand why my followers speak highly of it. The interior is just as it looks from the outside, a classic Japanese pub. But the food is delicious! I don't have a photo, but the fried rice with green chili peppers was so good that I couldn't stop eating it with a spoon! The refreshing spiciness that hits your nose even stimulates the brain of a drunk person! It increases your appetite! The dumplings are not ordinary, they have natto (fermented soybeans) in them. As a natto lover, I think natto alone in the filling would be good too (lol). They are open until 6 am and it's convenient, so I might come back when in need.
