Rikunohouju is carefully made with each individual grape using Muscat of Alexandria grapes from Okayama Prefecture. The fruit is used raw, not in jelly or gel form, so you can taste the true flavor of the Muscat. The refreshing juice overflows from the sweetened bean paste, creating a noble and exquisite treat.

I watched it on YouTube and wanted to try it - I wondered if they had it in Kyoto, so I looked it up and found out there was a store in Daimaru. I stopped by when I went shopping. The dough had an unusually large number of holes, but the taste was refreshing and not too sweet. I enjoyed it.

I happened to find this shop in Daimaru Kyoto store, so I bought a couple of items. I got the Peach Springs Fruit (1404 yen) and Shimizu White Peach Jelly (864 yen). Although they were a bit pricey, both peach jellies were delicious. They are perfect for summer and would make a great gift.

After work. The Yoshioan Art Museum is a nice place. Exciting. I was tired, so I drank a strawberry pink smoothie and ate a tokoyaki for some healing time. The moist honey was nice. Exciting. The slightly bitter flavor of yuzu peel. Yummy. The umami that intertwines and spreads throughout the mouth, along with the fragrance, is nice. Popping. I feel healed~ thank you.

This is a famous Japanese confectionery shop assortment, with flavors like mango, peach, and muscat. The fruit jellies can be enjoyed like Western desserts, all are sweet, fragrant, and elegant in taste, delicious. Gion Tsujiri-an has a good balance of fruit and jelly among various Japanese confectionery shops. It may be a good gift for families with children.
