Three of us, who love good ice cream, finally made it to Blue Seal Ice Cream, a place we've been wanting to visit for a long time! It's a bit far from home, so we couldn't go there easily. I wish it was closer so I could stop by on my way back from work. I think I've tried Blue Seal Ice Cream at a Ginza or Yurakucho location or maybe at the Okinawa antenna shop, but I can't remember what flavor I had. Anyway, since we're here, let's go for a double scoop. I don't want to get too greedy and confuse my taste buds with a triple scoop, so I think a double is just right. I'll have a double junior size waffle cone with salt cookie and Okinawan sweet potato cheesecake, please! The salt cookie, said to be the most popular, was a definite choice. For the second flavor, I wanted something that represents Okinawa, so I chose the Okinawan sweet potato cheesecake. The salt cookie had small pieces of salty cookie inside the ice cream, which was irresistible for a cookie lover like me. If only the spoon was made of cookie, I could enjoy it until the last bite. The Okinawan sweet potato cheesecake, on the other hand, was chosen simply because I like cheesecake. I didn't really taste the sweet potato, but the finely chopped cheese inside added a nice texture. Both flavors were delicious! We went around 3 p.m. on a weekday and the place was not crowded, which was nice. Surprisingly, there were many male customers. It's easy for a man to come in alone, I guess. I didn't get any special treatment, but I noticed that the regular customers who came later were offered samples of the limited-time flavors, which was a bit disappointing. However, the unique deliciousness of Blue Seal Ice Cream makes me want to come back again to try other flavors. If I go there multiple times, they might offer me some samples too...

I have only visited Okinawa three times. The first time was during a high school field trip. The second and third times were golf and awamori expeditions. It's been about 20 years since then, so I've had quite a long break. I've always wanted to go back and experience the Okinawan vibe again, but it's been difficult. However, there's a place that can make me feel like I'm in Okinawa even in Tokyo, and that's Blue Seal. After World War II, this company started from US military bases and has become one of the representative Okinawan brands. The first store in Kanto is located in Fussa. The area around Yokota Air Base has an Americanized look, so it makes sense to have Blue Seal there. I had been thinking about visiting there every summer since coming back to Kanto, but I never made it until recently when I had cold Okinawa soba and felt motivated to go. I assumed that it would be crowded with families during summer vacation, so I decided to visit around 5 PM. However, when I arrived, there were two couples in front of the store having ice cream and taking photos, so I had to wait in my car for about 10 minutes. Eventually, they left, and I went in. I decided to go for the Okinawan flavors, so I ordered the popular Salt Chinsuko and the unique Ube Double Ice Cream (680 yen). I sat at a table and tried the Salt Chinsuko first. It's a popular product that turns the classic Okinawan souvenir Chinsuko into a cookie with a mix of salt and vanilla flavors. It was okay, but I wish the saltiness was a bit stronger. The crushed Chinsuko on top was too fine, so it didn't add much to the texture. Next, I tried the Ube ice cream. It had a unique texture, kind of like Eiko Segawa's singing style. I later found out that it's made from purple yam, which I wasn't familiar with, but I didn't dislike it. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to this Blue Seal location near Yokota Air Base, and I would like to try more of their flavors in the future.

The inside of the store was a bit dim and crowded, with the line getting a bit messy. The menu is at the entrance, but there are also other menus inside the store, so it's better to check the showcase. I ordered the salt chinsuko and the Blue Wave double scoop! The salt chinsuko was delicious, with a perfect combination of sweetness and a hint of saltiness! The Blue Wave had a refreshing combination of pineapple ice cream and soda sherbet, perfect for summer! The store shares a parking lot with Hoop (a bagel shop - also delicious!) so there are plenty of parking spaces available. It's easy to park here. Highly recommended for dessert after lunch!

I ordered the Hibiscus Mango and Salted Chin-Suko flavors. There were many flavors that can only be found at Blue Seal, so I had a hard time choosing! I also want to try the Purple Sweet Potato, Pineapple, Brown Sugar, and Soft Serve flavors next time! The double scoop was large and very satisfying. The parking lot is spacious and you can also buy bagels from the bakery next door.

My husband and I visited "Blue Seal Ice Cream Fussa Store" in Fussa City, Tokyo. It is located about a 10-minute walk from JR Ome Line Ushihama Station, along Route 16. There is parking available (shared with the neighboring "Hoop FRESH BAGELS & CAFE" shop). On Saturday at 8:15 PM, the inside of the store was crowded and lively. There were a few Japanese customers, but mostly American military families from Yokota Air Base, with children running around the small store. It was a typical weekend scene. Although I had only been to Blue Seal in Okinawa, this store had more of an American atmosphere. Since the store was full, we decided to get our ice cream to go and eat it in the car. My husband had Almond Pistachio in a junior single cone for 370 yen, and I had Salt Chinsuko in a junior single cup for 370 yen. The Salt Chinsuko flavor had a subtle vanilla taste with the addition of salt from Chatan. The finely crushed Chinsuko cookies didn't provide a crunchy texture, which was a bit disappointing, but the gentle sweetness and fragrant aroma were pleasant. The unique flavors not found in major ice cream shops were refreshing and enjoyable. I look forward to trying it with a bagel from the neighboring shop next time.

I came here with my daughter after having a meal nearby. As expected, we ended our time in Fussa by coming here with my daughter leading the way. From the road in front of the store to the exterior of the store and the neon sign, you can really feel the American atmosphere. The inside of the store wasn't too crowded, but there was a steady flow of customers. My daughter chose the chocolate brownie, while I went for pistachio and something rich. However, the atmosphere inside the store made it feel light and enjoyable, and we had a delicious and fun time. Thank you very much.

I stopped by after the Yokota Air Base Friendship Festival. As expected of a US military base, there were many American food stalls like steak, hamburgers, fries, and pizza. I wanted something light to eat... It was surprisingly crowded, maybe everyone felt the same way. The interior of the shop was quite simple, with just a big ice cream showcase. It felt a bit empty. It's similar to Thirty-One, but the store is cramped like a narrow eel bed. The lineup naturally follows the showcase, so maybe it's calculated that way. Usually, when I go to Blue Seal, I consider my companions and only get a single scoop, but I wanted to try the Triple Junior for 750 yen! I received salted chin cookie, apple cinnamon & cheesecake biscuit, and Ryukyu red tea warabi mochi. I realized, oh, I have no sense of color coordination. They all look similar and don't stand out. If I had thought about the color combination based on the flavors I wanted to eat, it would have been better. The flavors are distinct when savored slowly, but they taste similar. It would have been nice to have flavors like shikuwasa sherbet or chocolate mixed in. It's like Thirty-One, but the unique ingredients from Okinawa make it intriguing. Maybe they opened a shop here due to the influence of the US military Kadena Air Base in Okinawa.

I visited around 12:00 on a Sunday at a parking lot along National Route 16 in front of Yokota Base. The weather was bad, so I was able to order without waiting. I got a double scoop of Mango Tango and Chocolate Mint in a waffle cone. It was just sweet enough and delicious.

During Golden Week, my family and I went out and stopped by this place because it was hot outside. It was located along Route 16, right in front of Yokota Air Base, which had a perfect atmosphere. I was torn between San Francisco Chocolate Mint and Almond Pistachio, but ended up choosing Almond Pistachio. It was not too sweet and the hint of almond was really nice. Next time, I will try a double scoop with Chocolate Mint.

I stopped by after returning from Okinawa, feeling disappointed that I couldn't eat it during my trip. I was amazed to find a Blue Seal store in Kanto where I could eat it, so I immediately chose a takeout of Beniimo (purple sweet potato), and it was really delicious! ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭⁾

I stopped by for a dessert after having lunch nearby. This shop has tables inside where you can sit and eat. When I entered and looked at the menu, I noticed that many flavors were already gone, including my favorite ice cream. Feeling disappointed, I ended up ordering Almond Pistachio in Blue Seal Cone. I was so shocked that I even forgot to take a picture.

Local neighborhood, Fussa. In between my trip to Okinawa, I will review some nearby shops in the local area. Along Route 16. With Yokota Air Base right in front, this area has an American vibe. Young people driving huge American cars... impressive! Blue Seal fits in well in this town. My first Blue Seal ice cream since Okinawa. So many Okinawan flavors. I had guava & mango, while my husband had purple sweet potato cheese. I wanted the waffle cone, but wasn't sure if it was worth the extra cost. I prefer eating this kind of ice cream in a cone. Eating Blue Seal in front of Yokota Air Base. I thought it would give me an Okinawan vibe, but the American atmosphere of Yokota Air Base was stronger. Thanks for the meal!

Located near Yokota Air Base in Fussa, there is a Blue Seal ice cream shop! When you think of Blue Seal, you think of Okinawa, but they have it here too! The shop is along Fussa Bayside Street, so it's easy to find. Inside the shop, there are four table seats, which is convenient for enjoying your ice cream. Many ice cream shops don't have tables, so it's nice to have a place to sit and rest. The menu includes not only regular Blue Seal ice cream but also Blue Seal soft serve, sundaes, and coffee, making it very convenient. In particular, the Blue Seal soft serve is a rare find? I always order this! This time, I ordered a mix of sweet potato and vanilla soft serve. The rich and delicious vanilla mixed with the Okinawan sweet potato soft serve is the best! Blue Seal ice cream outside of Okinawa is also delicious!

Blue Seal, an ice cream shop from Okinawa, offers a variety of unique flavors that you can't find anywhere else. It's a fun experience choosing from their selection of flavors. This time, I chose the popular flavor, Blue Wave. It had pieces of ramune and pineapple inside the ice cream, so you could enjoy different flavors as you ate. It's a great treat to beat the summer heat. I look forward to trying another flavor next time I'm in the area.

Project H - A world of self-satisfaction (only for those who understand) (^ ^ The ice cream that was eaten in a certain idol group's music video (^ ^ It was exclusive to Okinawa and had an amazing taste, but there are actually two stores within my range, although it's not a genre I frequent much... The music video was filmed on a beach in Fukuoka, in early summer outdoors, and the ice cream melted quickly, so the members had different flavors for each cut. Did they eat them all? I doubt it (^ ^ The main one that stood out was the Blue Wave with its eye-catching color. I remember having it before (^ ^ It's a soda sherbet with pineapple ice cream, refreshing citrus flavor. It doesn't make you thirsty, which is nice (^ ^ I feel like the ice cream in the music video was 1.5 times larger than this one... Yes, that's the shape as shown in the menu photos. Is it a visual trick for aesthetics, or is it an optical illusion due to the idols' small faces? The website mentions that the size varies by store... Is this like the issue that a certain sushi chain faced with their menu photos? Is my reaction too sensitive and timely?

No. 3203 Located near Higashi-Fussa Station on the JR Hachiko Line. A ice cream shop along Route 16 in front of the Yokota Air Base, walking from the station. It was quite busy today being Saturday, but I was lucky to enter without waiting in line as there was only one customer ordering in front of me. - Banana Suzanne Single Cone - 380 yen I chose the Blue Seal original cone, which seemed to be the only option besides a cup. Despite being a single scoop (served in a small dish), it looked small but tasted rich with the flavor of Banana Suzanne ice cream. The banana flavor had a strong artificial scent, but the essence of Blue Seal was well represented in this dessert.

On the way back from ramen in Bajima, there is Yokota Air Base on Route 4 going down, with American hamburger shops, cafes, bakeries, and miscellaneous goods shops lined up. In Okinawa, there is the famous Blue Seal ice cream, right? Since it's not easy to come by, I stopped by. Although there are 31 Ice Cream shops here and there, ice cream shops themselves are not rare, but the taste is different. I chose a regular size with a cone because I was already full from ramen. The taste is definitely like chinsuko! When you eat it, it has a sweet and salty chinsuko flavor, with chinsuko crushed in it. It tastes like a chocolate cookie. Since it's from the American side, I wish it was a little bigger, but it's still good.

I had some errands in Fussa, so I decided to visit Blue Seal Fussa store after a long time. I ordered the salt soft serve ice cream with Nuchimasu. It was the same price as the other soft serve ice creams. Since I am on a low-carb diet, I chose to have it in a cup instead of a cone or waffle cone. It was really delicious.

Pistachio and Okinawa Royal Milk Tea I'm not sure what makes the Royal Milk Tea Okinawan, but the iced milk tea is consistently delicious. There was always a line inside the store. It was especially tasty today because it was hot. The pistachio flavor had lots of nuts and a vibrant green color. I always have a hard time deciding what to order.

On my way back from Okutama to GW, I visited this place near Yokota Air Base in Fussa City for the first time. It's been a few years since I had Blue Seal ice cream in Okinawa. I couldn't believe they had it here, so I had to stop by. I ordered flavors like Ube, Mango, and Passion Fruit, which reminded me of Okinawa. They were all delicious! The kids loved the Mango, while the adults loved the Ube. It didn't disappoint, the taste was amazing!
