I visited Pronto located a 1-minute walk from Akabane Station! The restaurant has 50 seats and is spacious, so you can relax as it's not too crowded. There are table seats, counter seats, and sofa seats. The counter seats have outlets and the store has good Wi-Fi connection. The layout is long, with the counter seats facing outside. During the day, the bright sunlight comes in, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The other side (facing the station) has sofa seats with plenty of space, which was also nice.

I arrived at Akabane Station earlier than planned, so I stopped by the "Pronto" restaurant next to the station for breakfast. I ordered the "Morning Set" and it was ready in just a few minutes since it was already cooked and just needed to be warmed up. The cheese and egg combination was delicious. Each item was individually wrapped, which made it a bit difficult to open. The bright light coming in from the front counter created a relaxed and spacious atmosphere for a leisurely time.

On this day, I had lunch in Akabane and was heading back to the station when I saw that the train was stopped and it would take a while before it resumed, so I decided to kill some time. I visited this place near the station since I didn't mind where to go. It was quite crowded because it was right by the station, but luckily a table opened up for me. What I had that day (tax included): Apple rare cheesecake, ice Earl Grey tea for 825 yen. It was a cake set, so it was a good deal. I fell in love with the cute apple rare cheesecake at first sight. It was slightly sweet and sour, and very delicious. I don't really go to Pronto often, so I was surprised that the sweets were good. Come to think of it, I didn't like the tapioca drink I had before, but the cake was delicious. It's convenient for a quick stop to kill time near the station.

Today we had a meetup in Akabane! After doing some yoga and running errands like going to the post office, I arrived in Akabane about 3 hours before the meetup. I charged my phone at McDonald's and checked out some restaurants on Tabelog. An hour before the meetup, I met up with Nanazou and we walked around Akabane for about 30 minutes. We still had some time left, so we decided to stop by this place that Nanazou recommended. She said it was a standing bar we saw outside. We sat at the counter right by the entrance. They had cheap drinks for standing customers, like the 290 yen draft beer I ordered. It was a slim glass of Premium Malts, perfect for the pre-meetup drink. I was thinking there was nowhere to put my bag, but they brought a basket for me to keep my stuff, which was nice. We had a quick drink, chat, and then headed to the main event!

First, we started with a light drink of hot wine and caprese for a toast! We're going to eat a lot later, so... there may be a difference between when it's quiet and when it's a bit busy, but it's easy to pop in for a quick bite or drink.

After work, I got off at Akabane Station and decided to stop by a shop inside the station instead of the usual Ichiban-gai. I sat at the counter and checked the menu. First, I ordered an adult nutrition drink. As for food, I went with the teppanyaki gyoza. The gyoza arrived sizzling hot, with a recommended vinegar dipping sauce. The skin was thick and crispy. When dipped in the sauce, it had a refreshing taste that went well with the nutrition drink. For the finish, I tried the "amazing peppercorn carbonara." It arrived after a short wait, with plenty of whole peppercorns. The bacon grease and the crunch of the peppercorns, along with the rich sauce, made for a satisfying dish. It was a hearty meal. So, I decided to stop by Pronto, which I happened to pass by. It was after 5:00 or 6:00, so it was bar time and the atmosphere was nice with dim lighting. I chose a smoking seat since I crave cigarettes when I drink. I ordered a highball with a large ice cube. The glass was also large, which was good. I also ordered the potato salad with Parmesan cheese, which was delicious with plenty of cheese and a nice touch of capers. It was easy to drink and had a good aftertaste.
