On weekends, it gets very crowded and there is often a long wait at the register, so I went on a weekday night instead. I arrived at 6:50 pm, ordered quickly using the tablet, and my steak arrived within a few minutes. However, the chicken tempura, assorted tempura, eel bowl, soba, and the seafood bowl my family ordered all arrived together after 7:20 pm. The restaurant wasn't very busy until then, so I wondered if our order was forgotten. The chopsticks in the case on the table were out of stock in the table I sat at. It seemed like the staff were not attentive enough. The sauce for the seafood bowl was too sweet. The soba and tempura were okay. They didn't serve soba broth. The steak as a side dish was small, probably due to its cheap price. The drink bar had a limited selection and didn't lift the mood. Overall, this family restaurant had a lower satisfaction level compared to Saizeriya, Coco's, or Jonathan's. Perhaps they should focus more on their all-you-can-eat sukiyaki or shabu-shabu as their main offering.

Today's highlight was actually the dessert. Recently, there was a reviewer who posted about our shaved ice, and I remembered it until now. The lunch tendon was decent for the price, with freshly fried tempura and memorable red miso soup! Now onto the second half, the coffee kintoki shaved ice was a hit! Red bean x coffee may sound like a strange combination, but it surprisingly works. There's even coffee daifuku in Ogikubo, and I usually enjoy red bean treats with coffee. I can't remember if it was when I was a child or a young adult, but there was a commercial for instant coffee suggesting Japanese cuisine with coffee, and it struck a chord with me. While experimenting, it turns out that the combination only brings "surprising elements" to meals, but it works well with Japanese sweets. Perhaps it's the similarity between the bitterness of tea and coffee, or the effects of caffeine. I plan to revisit soon and try the milk tea shaved ice this time. I wonder if they offer red bean as an option. That combination seems to have good compatibility. Plus, the shaved ice is half price now.

I had the impression that Kazoku Sato was a family restaurant for older people, but after watching some videos on YouTube, I became interested and decided to visit for the first time on a Sunday. It was the closest restaurant to my house, so I chose it. I checked online if I needed to make a reservation, and found out that I could make a reservation through E-Park, but there were no waiting people, so I decided to go without a reservation. When I arrived, it was almost full and we had to wait for about two groups before being seated, but we were seated in about 10 minutes. It was around 1:30 pm. There were many families with children. It was my first visit, but I had already decided what to order, so I chose the premium all-you-can-eat pork option for around ¥2700. They brought the meat and vegetables to us and we started eating. The menu was touch panel style and a bit hard to read, and after selecting each category, there were many pages. I didn't notice at first and thought there were only vegetables, but there were also green onions, lettuce, etc. It was a trial run for the first time. I want to show my true abilities next time. Some of the items we ordered didn't arrive, and we ended up not receiving them. Also, two types of toppings for soft serve ice cream were empty and not replenished. However, the staff were all polite. The charm of this place is that they serve cold soba noodles and tempura as side dishes. I want to enjoy the side menu, so even the cheapest pork option is enough for me. The pork slices were quite thin. I chose pork bone and chicken broth for the soup, and there were also ponzu and sesame dressings available.

Today, I went out to eat with my family. We wanted to have some donburi, so we decided to try out this restaurant called Washoku Sato in front of Horikoshi Gakuen. They offer all-you-can-eat options and the place was bustling with families. I think it's good value for money. Thank you for the meal! We will definitely come back again!

After finishing some errands near Homan-cho on my way back from work, it was already past 1:30 PM. I parked my scooter in the parking lot and stopped by "Japanese Cuisine Sato Horikoshi Gakuen-mae Store". Today, I ordered the "Seafood Fry Set Meal" (seasonal rice, mini cold soba) and added a single item "Early Summer Mango Parfait". The set meal was decent, neither good nor bad, but the mango parfait was really delicious, especially the apple mango. I would like to eat it again at least once. Thank you for the meal!

I enjoyed a very reasonable beef and pork shabu-shabu course night discount using an app coupon. At only 3,000 yen per person, it was a great deal. I especially enjoyed the tempura, although I wish they had egg tempura. The shrimp tempura had small shrimp, but since it was all-you-can-eat, it was still enjoyable. The service from the staff was very friendly and made the dining experience pleasant. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, making it easy to enjoy the meal.

After work, the road construction in front of my house was not finished, so I parked my scooter in the parking lot and stopped by "Washoku Sato Horikoshi Gakuen-mae Store". Today, I ordered the "Seasonal Tendon Set (with cherry shrimp) with Large Cold Soba, Sato Cafe & Shiratama Azuki, and a side of "Firefly Squid Sashimi". The dishes were quite ordinary. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I parked my scooter in the parking lot and stopped by "Washoku Sato Horikoshi Gakuenmae Store" for lunch. I ordered the "Four Seasons Mame Gohan Sakura Ebi Kakiage Gozen" with a side of "Katsuo Tataki (5 pieces)". Since they specialize in Japanese cuisine, I think the katsuo tataki could have been sliced a bit thicker. Overall, the other dishes were decent. Thank you for the meal!

After receiving treatment for my back pain at Seieifuku Chiropractic Clinic in Nishinagafuku, I parked my scooter in the parking lot and stopped by "Washoku Sato Horikoshi Gakuen-mae Store" for dinner. Today, I ordered the "Bamboo Shoot Rice and Wakatake Noodle Set" (Mini Seasonal Warm Udon) and Sato Cafe & Shiratama Azuki. The "Four Seasons" menu at Washoku Sato is quite good. I don't think you can go wrong with it. Thank you for the meal!

After work, I parked my scooter in the parking lot and stopped by "Washoku Sato Horikoshi Gakuen-mae" here. Today, I ordered the "Oyster Feast Meal (Oyster Rice) (Mini Seasonal Warm Soba)". It was a delicious set without any flaws! In particular, the oysters in the oyster soba were very juicy and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had two meetings today and stopped by "Washoku Sato Horikoshi Gakuenmae" on my way back from work to have dinner. It started raining, so I parked my scooter in the parking lot. I ordered the "Early Spring Seafood Tendon Set" (large rice, mini cold soba) and Sato Cafe & Shiratama Azuki. From next time, I'll go for a regular portion of rice as the large one was too much. I overate. The taste was average, neither good nor bad.

On New Year's Day, just before 2:00 pm. There are only a few shops open on New Year's Day, so if you want a smooth entry, you have two choices: line up before opening or come at a different time. This year, I visited later than usual. (Actually, I couldn't wake up because of the leftover alcohol from New Year's Eve... haha) When I entered the entrance after climbing the stairs in front of the bus stop, there was no one waiting in the waiting area, and I was seated immediately. However, the restaurant was full. It seemed lively with people enjoying the all-you-can-drink option for outdoor drinking on the first day of the year. Since I hadn't decided on anything specific, I carefully looked at the menu before ordering. The order was made using a touch panel, but I looked through multiple paper menus. I spent over 10 minutes pondering, which I had never done before. I am weak when it comes to "limited edition" items. (laughs) ■ Mini cold soba from the "Four Seasons Tour Set (Crab Chirashi)", changed, 1,923 yen ■ Draft beer (medium), 658 yen ■ Eggplant pickles (small), 218 yen Starting with a vinegar appetizer, the set meal with plenty of crab chirashi and abalone, which is a limited-time special menu that gives you a taste of New Year's mood, was a great choice. The first beer of the New Year, which helps wash away the alcohol left over from the previous night, was enjoyed with just one medium draft beer, which was unusual. It was a satisfying lunch. I will definitely come back.

At the end of the year, my family gathered for a meal at a restaurant. My younger brother and his wife, who work in a different prefecture, also joined us, making the dining table lively. Even with six people, including children, we had plenty of space at the large table in the family restaurant. We ordered the set meal on the menu and a kids' set for my 3-year-old nephew. The adult set meal included rice with various side dishes like sashimi, tempura, and chawanmushi. The sashimi was fresh and the tempura was crispy. We enjoyed the delicious food and had a great time. Thank you for the meal!

During a short break, I found this shop nearby with a parking lot. It had been a while since I ordered a drink bar and a dessert. I ordered a rich tea dolce and enjoyed the drink bar with choices like iced coffee and iced cafe latte. It was a lovely afternoon tea time that I fully enjoyed. Thank you for the meal.

I had a rare lunch at a family restaurant. I ordered the tempura rice bowl and soba set. The tempura rice bowl was a self-serve style with two types of sauce, light and regular. I chose the regular sauce. The taste was normal and delicious, and the soba was also tasty. If I were to be picky, I wish there was a bit more soba. Thank you for the meal ☺️

I parked my scooter and stopped by "Washoku Sato Horikoshi Gakuen-mae" for lunch. Today, I ordered the "Conger Eel and Shrimp Summer Bowl Set" with extra rice, along with the Sato Café & Shiratama Azuki Set. The tempura was a bit oily. Overall, the other dishes were neither exceptional nor disappointing.

Today, I visited a restaurant called "Wasyoku Sato" located a 10-minute walk from my home to have some eel. I ordered a Kirin beer, a regular eel rice bowl from Kagoshima, a mixed tempura plate, and some chicken karaage. The eel was a bit small in size, but tasty. The tempura was decent, and surprisingly, the chicken karaage was quite delicious. The difference between regular and premium eel is the amount of eel served. I, being a light eater, opted for the regular size. The eel was a bit firm but still enjoyable, especially considering the price. If you're willing to pay an additional 1000 yen, you can upgrade to a larger size eel bowl. Overall, it's a convenient place to enjoy eel without the need for reservations, making it a good option for a spontaneous meal.

Due to work running late, I found that the usual place where I park my bike and enjoy a leisurely dinner had closed, so I stopped by "Washoku Sato Horikoshi Gakuenmae" instead. Today, I ordered the "Conger Eel Tempura Rice Bowl" dessert and drink set. I opted for extra rice, but a regular portion would have been fine. Since it's a chain restaurant, it was neither good nor bad. I saw the menu and I'm interested in trying the "Sato Shabu 120-minute all-you-can-eat" next time.

I visited at 8 o'clock on Saturday, but it was full. It was very crowded. I think many people were trying the Satoshabu. I ordered the Seasonal Sushi Set for 1,399 yen (excluding tax). It included a selection of nigiri sushi, assorted tempura, chawanmushi, and a choice of mini noodles (I chose mini udon). The nigiri sushi included seasonal items such as tuna, firefly squid, salmon, and shrimp. The tempura consisted of shrimp, asparagus, and seaweed. The udon was soy sauce-based with a firm texture and included wakame seaweed and green onions. The chawanmushi had ginkgo nuts among other ingredients. I was full and satisfied.

Today, I was looking for a restaurant with parking near Nakano Station, and my mother, who was with me, expressed interest in trying this place. We arrived at 11:45, and the parking lot was not full. The restaurant was also not crowded, with only about 20% of the seats occupied. They offered all-you-can-eat options, but we opted for the lunch menu, which was quite reasonably priced for a Saturday. I chose the lunch special tempura rice bowl for 699 yen, which came with cold soba noodles. The food arrived in about 10 minutes. The tempura rice bowl was served with a choice of dipping sauce, either the standard light broth-based sauce or the traditional tempura sauce. I tried both, but personally preferred the classic tempura sauce. The tempura included shrimp, lotus root, green pepper, pumpkin, white fish, and seaweed. While the presentation was lacking in volume, the freshly fried tempura was delicious. The soba noodles were refreshing and the portion was just right. Overall, it was a good value for the price. I enjoyed the tasty tempura rice bowl set.
